Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: NO.8, Emiya Shirou Cuts the Golden Glint's Elbow

Every world has its capable people. Just as Gilgamesh said, this wasn't some huge piece of information.

As long as one's brain was somewhat normal, they could basically figure it out and guess the answer.

But now, everyone's attention was focused on the screen where a image was reappearing.

One-Punch Man World.

Saitama looked at the reappearing image on the screen with his wise-looking eyes and said, "Well, I'm too lazy to think. Let's just keep watching the video. Secrets will be revealed sooner or later, right, Genos?"

"Yes, Master!"

Genos expressed his agreement. Although he was also curious about the secret of the multiverse projection...

He wanted to see what kind of surprises the next video would bring him even more.

Similarly, according to the data Genos had found, this world had no Thousand-Year Empire, nor any Demon Slayer Corps.

He already had a vague answer in his heart, but he felt it would be better to discuss this matter with Dr. Kuseno.

Naruto World.

Kakashi also shifted his attention from the comments to the video. He looked at the image gradually appearing on the big screen and continued: "NO.8 has appeared. Let's continue watching the video."

Although he was very concerned about the information Gilgamesh mentioned, Kakashi felt that things weren't that simple.

And the other party had also stated directly that he would give the information to Tanjiro.

So Kakashi secretly added Tanjiro as a friend, intending to get the information from him.

After all, no matter how you looked at it, the boy was much easier to talk to than that being named 'Gilgamesh.'

"What will the next video be!"

Unlike Kakashi's keen interest in intelligence, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura Haruno...

Although they were initially interested in what Gilgamesh said, as soon as the video appeared, they all shifted their gaze over in unison.

"What kind of battle will it be this time?" Naruto was clearly very interested in what kind of battle scenes would follow.

Sasuke was the same. He felt that these videos were not only good to watch but also contained incomprehensible Ninjutsu and Ninja Tools.

Sasuke had always been drawn to these "unknown" things; they might one day become the perfect tools to help him kill Itachi.

Sakura Haruno was much simpler—she just found the video entertaining. Watching Tanjiro and Tatsumi fight got her blood pumping, but she also felt sorry for them.

Being a woman with plenty of tears to spare, Sakura had already gone through who-knows-how-many tissues.

People from other worlds likewise ignored the comment section and clicked on video NO.8.

Whether it was the Akame ga Kill World or the Demon Slayer World,

they were all curious what story NO.8 would tell.

Even Kibutsuji Muzan set aside his urge to trade high-intensity barbs with Gilgamesh and focused on the clip.

Needless to say, Gilgamesh himself was eager to see when he would appear.

After all, his entrance would surely be earth-shaking!

"..."

A line of text appeared on the screen.

NO.8: Emiya Shirou chops Gilgamesh's elbow.

"?????"

Heads across countless worlds were filled with question marks. What the heck—this title sounded downright irreverent.

"Emiya Shirou? Who's that? And who's Goldie?"

Gilgamesh stared at the odd title, plainly puzzled; it clearly lacked the gravitas of the previous two.

There was a playful vibe to it.

Interesting, he mused, smiling; the title had piqued his curiosity.

The next moment, the footage began.

The first thing shown was a figure seated on a rooftop, golden ripples spreading behind him. From those ripples, chill-gleaming weapons emerged one after another.

"????????"

Gilgamesh's expression froze. What was going on?

Wasn't that him on the screen?

When had this happened? The future? No… the imminent Holy Grail War?

Was he fighting a Servant?

Swish—!!!

With a sound that split the air, a weapon shot from the ripple and hurtled ground-ward.

Clang—!!

A boy swung his own blade, barely deflecting the strike.

"A human?" Gilgamesh frowned, unable to grasp why he would bother battling a mere mortal.

"What's wrong, Gilgamesh? You look upset."

A priest approached, holding a bowl of vividly red food. Smiling, he quipped, "Don't tell me you've been out of the sun so long you've turned into a vampire?"

"Fool. Kotomine, has that garbage food rotted your brain?" Gilgamesh had no patience for him.

He kept his eyes on the multiverse projection, face darkening. Why was he fighting a human?

And who was "Goldie"? Clearly the victim in this video.

Yet the king appeared at the start—no, wait, he was no "Goldie"; that name must refer to someone else.

Gilgamesh clung to that conviction.

Beside him, Kirei Kotomine was puzzled: today Gilgamesh was acting oddly, not holed up gaming.

He was actually sunbathing, and the usually "amused" king was in a foul mood—an uncommon sight.

Knowing him, Kotomine left him alone

and went to enjoy his newly bought treat.

At Night Raid Headquarters, Najenda exclaimed, "A spatial-type Imperial Arm?"

Though aware the man was a powerhouse from another world, she couldn't help categorizing what she saw in terms of her own reality.

"Looks like it," Akame nodded, studying the golden ripples. "It stores weapons and launches them."

"The damage from those thrown blades can't be underestimated," Bulat remarked, eyeing the craters in the ground.

Clearly, before the video started, the rooftop "Goldie" had already fought the boy for a while.

"That kid must be Emiya Shirou," Tatsumi said, focusing on the youth who'd flashed across the screen.

He looked older than Tatsumi himself.
