Chapter 18 - Chapter 18 – Sasuke, you sound just like Emiya Shirou!

Night Raid Headquarters, inside the Akame ga Kill World.

"A Noble Phantasm?" Najenda was puzzled; Gilgamesh's conversation with Emiya Shirou had just revealed several key points.

The enemy's weapons were called Noble Phantasms, and from the name alone they sounded no different from Imperial Arms.

That aside, Shirou could actually copy them—did that mean he could copy Imperial Arms as well?

"Impressive ability." Akame watched Shirou duplicate the Noble Phantasms, a flicker of surprise in her eyes. She rested a hand on Murasame at her hip and said calmly, "I wonder if he can copy Murasame. If he can… the blade…

She didn't finish, but everyone understood.

For assassination, Murasame was devastating.

If Shirou could replicate even a fraction of its power, the results would be terrifying.

After all, its poison had no antidote; even a partial dose was practically a death sentence.

"If he can copy it, that's one fearsome ability," Bulat agreed.

The others nodded; they all knew Murasame's reputation as a one-strike-kill cursed blade.

"Still, that golden guy said Shirou's copies are fakes—quality's bound to drop," Tatsumi added. Though a rookie, he was a blacksmith at heart and knew weapon quality was everything.

A good blade had to be flawless; otherwise it might 'surprise' its owner mid-battle.

Imagine swinging hard and the weapon suddenly splits—

That moment would be quite the shock.

It wasn't just the Akame ga Kill World.

In the Naruto World, Kakashi frowned. Another ninja tool?

No—this was a Noble Phantasm. What was it, and how could it use space-time Ninjutsu?

"Kakashi-sensei! I wanna learn that jutsu!" Naruto pointed excitedly at Shirou on the screen. "Then I'd never have to buy Kunai again."

"Idiot. You're really an idiot, Naruto."

Sasuke gave him a scornful look, eyes on 'the golden one'. "Those weapons are the key. With them I could unleash an arsenal Itachi could never predict."

"Even with the Sharingan, he couldn't dodge them all."

Sasuke's voice brimmed with excitement as he pictured countless explosive-tagged weapons raining on Itachi.

Even the Sharingan couldn't track them all in time.

A thousand? No—ten thousand tags detonating at once; even Itachi couldn't escape.

A strange smile crossed Sasuke's face, already savoring that bright future.

He was still young; naturally he imagined how he'd use such power.

"Um… maybe it's just me, but that Shirou guy sounds exactly like Sasuke-kun."

Sakura Haruno, Sasuke's number-one fan, thought she was hearing things.

Shirou's voice really did resemble Sasuke's.

"Do they? I don't hear it." Naruto laced his fingers behind his head, glancing from the screen to Sasuke and back.

He shook his head; no similarity at all.

Sasuke shook his head too, giving Sakura a look that said your ears are broken.

My voice is clearly different.

Kakashi also thought Shirou sounded a bit like Sasuke, but he only smiled. "Well, men's voices do have a certain similarity."

While they debated,

on-screen Shirou had already copied Gilgamesh's Noble Phantasms.

"Experience confirmed. Synchronization complete. Construction finished. Full projection—standby!"

Blades copied from Gilgamesh hovered above Shirou.

Even Gilgamesh looked impressed. "Quite the haul this time."

He rose, intrigued. "I see—you've duplicated every Noble Phantasm your eyes caught. Let's grade them, shall we?"

"No matter how perfect the forgery, I'll erase every last one from existence."

As he spoke, golden ripples turned, weapons within aiming at Shirou.

Viewers in other worlds realized the fight was about to begin.

They could tell this 'golden flash'—apparently Gilgamesh from the comments—

outclassed Shirou entirely; their earlier skirmish had shown it.

Shirou had barely held his ground, expending great effort.

Gilgamesh had simply sat on a rooftop, never moving, attacking through the golden portals.

Absolute dominance; the gap was obvious.

Much like Tanjiro versus the Twelve Moons, or Tatsumi versus the Nation-Protecting Machine God.

"So why did I get my elbow cut?" Gilgamesh scowled; it made no sense.

There was no way he could lose to an ordinary human—unexplainable.

Puzzled, he kept watching to see where he'd gone wrong.

In the video, weapons aimed at him, so Shirou prepared his own strike. Eyes on Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon, he said, "Halt! Unseal! Full projection—continuous rewrite!"

In that instant, time itself seemed to slow.

The Noble Phantasm projected by Emiya Shirou shot out together with Gilgamesh's.

The slowly flying weapons were viewed from a third-person perspective.

It gave a strangely beautiful visual, just like when Tanjiro grasped Sun Breathing and slashed out that curved arc.

Bang—bang—bang—!!!

When the Noble Phantasmas clashed, a violent explosion naturally followed.

In mid-air, blossoming fireballs lit the surroundings like miniature suns.

Time itself seemed to stop, freezing on that instant.
