"Damn it! My house!"
Luca had anticipated that his house would suffer some damage once people came knocking for a fight.
But he never expected these bastards to start spraying the villa with bullets before even seeing his face.
Fortunately, Shamila had listened to his advice and didn't rush out immediately. Otherwise, she would likely have been pinned down by this barrage of gunfire.
Of course, even if there was no immediate danger, Luca wasn't about to let this slide.
These bastards cost me money, so they'll pay with their lives!
"Baymax! Throw the tree! The intruder squad to the south!"
Following Luca's command, Baymax's eyes flashed red again.
"Received! Throwing tree!" (✪—✪)
The redwood tree Baymax had punched apart earlier still had its upper half lying in the yard, uncleaned.
Baymax quickly bent down, wrapped its arms around the massive trunk, and exerted force with its fingers.
All eight fingers of its gauntlets sank into the wood with a crunch.
Then, Baymax's camera eyes scanned the south main entrance of the villa, where four men were firing while closing in.
Beep beep beep. Alarm sounds rang in the system. In an instant, all four members of the squad were precisely locked on.
The next moment, Baymax, feet sunk into the ground, exerted sudden force.
The massive redwood trunk was hurled high into the air.
BOOM—
A deafening crash as the heavy object hit the ground.
The ground around the villa seemed to tremble with the impact.
Even Luca in the basement felt dust being shaken loose from the ceiling.
The massive vibration momentarily silenced the battlefield.
However, monitoring the situation outside via surveillance, Luca noticed that the tree trunk thrown by Baymax had missed the four intruders to the south by a hair's breadth.
Miscalculated the force? Luca wondered slightly.
But in reality, it didn't matter much.
Because the trunk landed so close, the shockwave knocked all four intruders to the ground, and three of them even dropped their guns.
"Baymax, those four haven't lost combat capability. Go neutralize them."
"Received!" (✪—✪)
Receiving the order, Baymax leaped over the fallen tree and landed in front of the four men.
Then came thud thud thud thud, four consecutive punches.
The four intruders, who hadn't even regained their footing, were instantly knocked out cold.
By now, half the enemies were down.
Watching the intruders on the north side reloading in unison on the monitor, Luca shook his head in disdain.
No awareness of alternating fire? These guys are way too amateur.
They started off decent enough, splitting up to infiltrate, but as soon as Baymax made a move, they started firing blindly.
The unlucky ones to the west were taken out instantly amidst their screams.
But the guys to the north hadn't even seen anyone yet, and they had already emptied a full magazine.
If my guess is right and these are Kingpin's men... I can only say these gangsters are hopeless.
Internal monologues aside, as soon as he noticed these idiots reloading together, Luca immediately gave the order to Shamila, who had been waiting impatiently.
"North rear door. Four idiots are reloading. Two behind the gargoyle statues, two approaching the villa."
Before Luca could even finish the first few words, the eager Shamila had already burst out from the basement stairs like a cheetah.
Before even leaving the house, she had already aimed her submachine gun.
Through the shattered floor-to-ceiling windows.
Rat-tat-tat-tat~
Short bursts. The two intruders in front were instantly hit and fell to the ground.
The two behind, still cocking their guns, tried to shrink back behind the statues for cover.
But Shamila covered several meters in just a few strides.
Then she leaned back, extended her legs, and slid across the ground, speeding right between the two statues at the rear door.
Pistol in her left hand, submachine gun in her right.
Bang bang bang~
Several gunshots rang out.
The last two men on the north side were shot multiple times in the forehead and heart, dying instantly.
After dealing with these two enemies, Shamila rolled and stood up quickly.
At some point, the villa's lights had come back on.
Holstering her pistol, Shamila pressed her earpiece and asked rapidly.
"What about the four to the east?"
"Baymax is already dealing with them," Luca said through the earpiece.
Hearing this, Shamila immediately moved, reaching the east garden in moments.
And just as Luca said...
As soon as she arrived, she saw Baymax wave its hand, sending an intruder flying high into the air.
The unlucky guy happened to land in a large tree on the left side of the garden, left hanging there struggling and wailing.
Then Baymax pushed lightly, and the last enemy flew out of the villa fence, screaming in terror.
Whether because the push was too gentle or the guy was just lucky...
After crashing through a few fence posts and landing, he stumbled back to his feet and ran for his life into the distance without looking back.
Seeing this, Shamila quickly raised her submachine gun, ready to finish off this "fish that slipped through the net."
But before she could aim and fire, an arm reached out from the side and gently pushed her gun barrel down.
"Auntie Shamila, I let him go on purpose. I had Baymax plant a tracker on him."
Yes, with that gentle push just now, the tracker Luca had placed inside Baymax's helmet before the battle started had been silently attached to the man.
Luca took the submachine gun from Shamila, fired a few shots into the air to make the man run faster, and then handed the gun back to Shamila.
"Master, what do we do now?" Shamila asked softly.
Perhaps because Luca had been commanding the whole time, or maybe because they had dispatched over a dozen intruders so easily...
Unknowingly, Shamila had started to look to Luca as the leader in combat matters, awaiting his instructions.
Watching the "survivor" disappear into the night, Luca raised his gun and shot the intruder hanging in the tree dead with a single shot, then said quietly:
"Get the car. We're following him!"
