Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 A Confused Deng Mu.

Chapter 13 A Confused Deng Mu.

Now, Ah Yin treated Deng Mu like her eldest grandson, and she trusted her intuition implicitly.

As for why she sensed his bloodline, Ah Yin guessed that her son was hiding it for her grandson, waiting to activate it for Deng Mu at a crucial moment.

Or perhaps her precious grandson hadn't awakened his bloodline yet, but none of that mattered.

Deng Mu looked at the silent Ah Yin, wondering what she was up to.

In his six years in this world, this was the first time he'd encountered such a strange person.

Could it be that this person had some strange ideas about him?

That couldn't be right; he was only six years old. How could someone be so cruel as to harm a six-year-old child?

Deng Mu hesitated for a moment before asking, "Excuse me, is there something you need?"

Ah Yin said gently, "My name is Ah Yin, I'm your grandmother. Child, you've suffered."

Before Deng Mu could react, she hugged him tightly.

"?????????"

At this moment, Deng Mu was filled with questions, completely bewildered by Ah Yin's words.

When did he become Tang San's son?

Although his martial soul was shared with Tang San, that didn't mean he was Tang San's son.

This was incredibly strange, utterly absurd.

Deng Mu suddenly felt this was retribution; he shouldn't have given Tang San such fatal blows every now and then, otherwise Ah Yin wouldn't have mistaken him for Tang San's son.

Ah Yin's words gave him a strange idea: he could impersonate Tang San's son for fun, and even if Tang San discovered it, it wouldn't be a problem.

After all, Tang San was bound to him; Tang San couldn't kill him, but he could kill himself.

Deng Mu feigned confusion, looking at Ah Yin: "Grandma? I remember my grandma died a long time ago, and my parents died a long time ago too. How could I possibly still have a grandma?"

He was still a little unsure; he wasn't sure if his first act would successfully deceive Ah Yin.

Failure would be a huge problem, while success would bring a lot of fun.

Seeing Deng Mu's disbelief, Ah Yin explained, "I really am your grandmother, your biological grandmother. Your previous parents were your adoptive parents; your real parents are Tang San and Xiao Wu."

She didn't know who Deng Mu's mother was, only that Xiao Wu was his mother.

She planned to talk to Tang San about Deng Mu and see how to arrange things for him.

Hearing Ah Yin's words, Deng Mu was somewhat surprised and said, "Tang San? Tang San who became the Sea God ten thousand years ago?"

He wanted to praise Tang San, but his conscience wouldn't allow it.

Ah Yin nodded, "That's right, your father is the Sea God Tang San."

Deng Mu scratched his head in confusion and said, "Since I'm his child, why have I never seen him?"

Hearing Deng Mu's words, Ah Yin didn't know what to say.

She had assumed Tang San had seen his son, but it turned out Tang San had never seen Deng Mu; it was probably an accident that brought Deng Mu into existence.

Ah Yin thought for a moment and said to Deng Mu, "Your parents don't not want to see you; they have unspeakable reasons and had to send you to Douluo Continent."

Deng Mu nodded to indicate that he understood, and then continued to ask, "Grandma, when can I see my parents?"

He couldn't help but think of Ah Yin in his heart. Even a three-year-old wouldn't believe such a reason. Did she really think he was stupid?

Ah Yin thought for a moment and replied, "You can see your parents after you become a god."

A sense of guilt welled up inside her for deceiving her eldest grandson; it was truly wrong, but there was nothing she could do.

She would discuss with Tang San how to compensate her grandson when they got back.

If Tang San didn't offer a satisfactory compensation, she would give her son a good scolding.

Deng Mu said earnestly, "Yes, Grandma, I will. After I become a god, I will definitely help Father."

Hearing Deng Mu's words, A Yin couldn't help but admire what a good child he was.

He had never met his parents, but upon hearing that they had a secret he couldn't tell them and that he wanted to become a god to help his biological parents, this child was truly filial.

She hugged Deng Mu even tighter than before, but Deng Mu didn't feel any difficulty breathing. "Good child, good child..."

A Yin murmured softly as she hugged Deng Mu, inwardly blaming Tang San for being irresponsible. Seeing that A Yin had been fooled, Deng Mu couldn't help but think to himself, "People from Douluo Continent are so easy to fool! In other worlds, no one would believe this so easily."

However, upon closer reflection, it seems that none of the female characters in the Douluo series are normal; they're all basically love-struck.

If something happens, they transform from love-struck into twisted lunatics.

A typical example is Bibi Dong, and a milder case is Liu Erlong.

But Liu Erlong, to vent her anger, slaughtered several forest spirit beasts. If Flander hadn't stopped her and persuaded her to open a school, many spirit beasts would have died.

Spirit beasts: Damn it!

Ah Yin released Deng Mu and took out a bracelet from somewhere, saying, "Little Mu, this is a gift from Grandma. It's a storage spirit tool with a very large space inside; you can put anything you want in it."

After saying that, she taught Deng Mu how to use the storage spirit tool.

Then Ah Yin said, "There's some money inside. If you see anything you like, buy it. If you run out of money, tell Grandma, and Grandma will give you some more pocket money."

She wasn't quite sure how much money was in the storage spirit tool; usually, she was in charge of spending it, and Tang Hao was in charge of putting money in.

Upon hearing this, Deng Mu quickly refused, "Grandma, no need. I have my own money, and if I don't, I can earn it myself."

He glanced at the storage soul tool, wondering how large its space was and how many gold coins were inside.

This money was definitely for supplementing household expenses, but he wouldn't take it all out at once.

Taking it all out at once wouldn't be a problem; he now had Ah Yin and Tang Hao as his support, and they would definitely protect him well.

After all, he was their only precious "grandson," how could he not be protected?

Moreover, if Tang San also misunderstood, then he basically wouldn't have to worry about anyone in Douluo Continent, and Tang San might even help him obtain a godhood, so he wouldn't have to find a godhood himself.

Tang San was the kind of person who cared a lot about his eldest son. After all, Tang San was an ancient person before he transmigrated, and even wealthy families in modern times cared a lot about their first son.

They would generally carefully cultivate their eldest son, unless the eldest son was a hopeless case, in which case they would consider cultivating a second son.

Seeing that Deng Mu was unwilling to accept it, Ah Yin unusually insisted, forcing Deng Mu to accept it and putting it on him.
