"Rude, however you're half right, half wrong, adventurer rank is only to determine a adventurer's capabilities and strength. There are other ranking systems created in various regions."
Lodan explained.
"Ohoh!? Now that got me interested! Are there other people stronger than you?"
Kalila was fascinated and wanted to know more.
"Well, take the Kingdom of Raja for example, the kingdom have a pretty unique way to determine their royal army."
"They rank strength based on stars, for example, 1 star men are considered newbies, 2 stars is when the soldiers of their empire succeeds their first mission, and so on until 5 star that is considered the kingdoms greatest asset and powerhouse comparable to a duke in terms of political status and nobility."
"So, in this adventurer ranking thing is not the only way to determine a human's strength cuz there's more strong one's outside who might not be an adventurer?"
Kalila who's impressed was eager to meet such figures.
"Exactly, theres also the Paladin of the holy church, she's probably the strongest holy knight in the world, since she defeated hundreds of demons 10 years ago, it was quite the popular tale."
Lodan pinches Kalila's cheeks as he dropped his sword.
"Why don't we roam the world and find all the strong ones? It will be fun for sure, are you in?"
He smirks as he shadowed Kalila with his tall figure,
An adventure! Kalila thoughts to herself while pondering whether she goes along her journey with Lodan.
"Sure! But you can't ride my back okay?"
Kalila was excited so she went inside to pack up some leftovers as snack.
"Good, Javelin please look after the estate while I'm gone."
Lodan orders his servant who naturally followed his wish and went to his bed chamber to prepare.
The two both flew to the sky after they were done, simply dissappeared from the estate's surrounding. They were traveling too fast at roughly 200km per hour, so they reached the Kroger harbor of an small inhabited island named Lunarean, wherein multiple pirate ships were docked, they landed on a quiet place to avoid suspicions.
But unfortunately the silver haired girl who was peeing looked at them blankly.
"Oh uhm, sorry about that..."
Kalila scratches her head while apologizing while Lodan stared blankly with no expression until he fainted with nosebleed that poured down endlessly.
"O-oh...H-hi... "
the silver haired girl wearing a strange green dragon outfit quickly regained her composure and zipped her pants back on.
She quietly walks away flushing with embarrassment.
"What the is she too shy to even get angry? What a strange fella."
Kalila was slightly stunned but she's back to her usual mood a few seconds later.
"Huh why is Lodan sleeping on such an uncomfortable spot."
Kalila smacks Lodan which woke him up."
"What was that for? Anyways, what happened? Where's the woman earlier?" Lodan asked, Kalila looks at Lodan.
"She just left, so casually."
Lodan just stood up and decided to call it normal, afterall ever since she met Kalila things have been chaotic and unexpected.
"Anyways this is Kroger harbor, don't cause any trouble. This is one of many the territories of Zephyr, one of the 4 sea lords. This is also one of their army camps, it's full of monstrous guys on par with me or even stronger." Lodan carefully warned Kalila and both of them went out to the street, the large crowd slowly appeared as they gone out.
Half of the island was full of merchants and tourists.
"Take your time exploring, I have some little business to do here so lets meet up on the same location afterwards, 2 hours got it?"
Lodan instructed which Kalila nodded to before heading to the west side of the island.
Kalila excited roamed around the food corders til she saw a delicious dessert shop and settled there, the customers looked at her strangely.
"Little girl are you a noble elf?"
said by the dark cloaked man, the man had a mysterious aura around him.
"Me elf? Hey, don't compare me to those lowly creatures!"
Kalila arrogantly responded to the mysterious man who just finished eating his dish.
"That arrogance, I see what race you're from now. I guess you are hiding your horns behind that hat of yours."
The man took a sip of coffee and left the shop.
"What a weird man, but I didn't notice his aura so he's probably an ordinary civilian."
Kalila ignored and quickly asked for the most expensive dessert.
"That would be 67 gold coins." the cashier says with joyful expression.
"Oh here."
Kalila gave the payment and went to the most comfortable spot on the shop.
"Wait, if 67 gold coins is enough to buy the most expensive dessert on the shop then wasn't the inn I payed at... A COMPLETE SCAM!?"
Kalila furiously ate the dessert as she felt deceived,
"Dang it, the lady looked nice! But she was actually a cold snake who's after my gold coins!"
Kalila finishes her dish and went to the harbor where a bunch of fishermen were settling their caught goods.
"Well wow, everyone is quite busy huh."
Just when Kalila was about to leave, someone snuck a knife to her throat, just a few centimeters close to cutting her throat. Kalila calmly asked for their identity.
"Who? I don't think I accumulated that much hate that someone would be willing to kill me."
Kalila curiously asked, no response answered Kalila's question so she put her palm behind and blasted the pirate who was behind Kalila.
Kalila's blast destroyed the nearby ship which angered the companions of the pirate she blasted onto their ship, they all charged at Kalila.
She did not dodge their attacks, well of course, the attacks they dealt was no big deal to Kalila who has skin as thick as diamond.
"W-what the hell are you!? That man clearly said you were just a lost noble girl!"
The blonde haired pirate realized that her body were impenetrable and decided to drop his weapon and surrender,
"H-Haha, could you let me go? I have a wife I need to take care of... I - I can't die here."
The man begged on his knees, full of tears and snot that made Kalila disgusted.
"Ew, alright-alright! Just go take your men and get lost."
Kalila let them all go and went on with her exploratiom.
On the other hand, Lodan reached his destination.
A huge tower with 2 petrified giants who seemed to have guarded the door for so long,
"So this is the tower of Odin that was conquered by Zephyr 10 days in the future after his men found it deep inside a huge crater."
Lodan slides till the bottom of the crater, an arrow trap was activated when he made contact with the hidden trigger but he casually dodged it.
Upon arriving he took his spear and sword along with tons of potions,
In a minute the stone giants begun moving as if it were alive.
"I am Lodan! I wish to conquer this tower!"
Lodan stated his name to the giants who opened the door for him.
Lodan braced himslef and entered the tower, upon entering millions of armored white winged beings wielding spears charged at Lodan who dranks a few potions boosting his strength and speed vastly.
Lodan was given flashbacks of different memories from his different self from the future strictly warning him and showing him glimpse of the future once again,
"damn it, it never stops."
Lodan fused his mana onto the sword and faces over a million angels, a single pierce from Lodan's spear tore down hundreds of thousands of his opponents easily.
His battle with the angels lasted a day, he used the potions to quickly recover and proceed with the second floor. Odin's tower had 3 floors needed to clear,
Lodan spared no time to rest and went directly to the 2nd floor, and upon reaching the floor, a replica of an adult green dragon was patiently waiting.
Though it wasn't a real green dragon it still had half of an actual adult green dragon's strength, Lodan picks up his trump card which was the sealed origin sword, he can only control the sword to some extent.
"A minute is all I need."
Lodan charged which the dragon instinctively swings it's wings to parry Lodan's attack.
Lodan quickly swings his body in response to lessen the damage of the attack, he lands on his feet and throws a barrage of slashes that tore the dragon's wing, ever since Kalila showed the flaws in Lodan's all out attack.
He came up with a solution, a destructive attack that can't be dodge no matter how fast an enemy can be.
Lodan charged his final attack he named, [Black Hole Usurper]
The dragon's magic was being absorbed onto his own attack, the dragon couldn't move either, and thus the outcome was clear.
He released his attack and the dragon was eaten my the black hole along with the surroundings.
Lodan ran out of potions, he didn't expect to run out of it. He had thought it would be enough to clear all 3 floors. He had no choice but to rest a bit as a alternative method since he ran out of potions.
Kalila was worried for lodan who dissappeared for 2 long days, roamed the island till she found a huge crater with a huge tower in the middle of it.
"Woah, what is that?"
It looks so cool! Kalila's eyes lit up with fire out of excitement.
