When Lodan entered, he was suprised.
The whole floor was full of golds and treasures that can never run out even if spent billions.
"Was the dragon the last boss?"
Lodan questions before looking for his needed items.
"Hey, who are you!"
A chubby guy pops out the pile of golds, Lodan notices and almost unsheathed his sword from its scabbard because he wasn't able to notice the man's presence.
"What's with the serious expression!"
The chubby red haired man angrily threw the coins, to Lodan's suprise, the thrown coins made a huge explosion.
The huge bang destroyed the 3rd floor, making both of them wall down along with the treasures.
Lodan sighs as he grabbed the screaming man, though he fell more faster as the fat man weighs twice his body,
"Fuck damn."
Lodan's back hits the 2nd floor, he groans trying to stand up while the fat man was on top of him.
"Oh! You're actually really kind, real thanks!"
The fat man offered his gratitude, he stood up and helps Lodan stand up.
"Fierce face like a demon, yet heart full of politeness."
The chubby man holds Lodan's hand as Lodan backs away with disgust.
"Alright what were you doing on the top floor?"
Lodan questions, he knew that the man wasn't ordinary to be able to climb the tower without fighting with the entities of the floors.
"No need to be suspicious, The reason I can go to the top is because im quite special you see, im Javier, the prince of the sky!"
Javier proudly claims.
"The prince of sky that I remember wasn't fat but I'll believe you for now."
Lodan searches the treasures trying to find what he needs but grabs something else instead, round, bouncy, and the texture was smooth too.
"HEY!"
Kalila dives out the pile of golds suprised by the mysterious man's actions,
"How dare you!... Oh, it's you Lodan."
Kalila happily hugs Lodan and then smacks him to the ground.
Javier was suprised by Kalila's appearance, with closer look Javier notices Kalila's cuteness and kisses her hands instinctively, that did not last long until Lodan and Kalila kicks him on the face... Majestically.
Javier blushes as he gets kicked.
"Ah, getting kicked by a cute young lady, what honor could possibly be as grand as this."
"Ignore the pervert, let's get outa here, you have a spacial magic bag right? Absorb all the stuffs here."
Lodan requests Kalila.
"Hm, sure I guess, but why though."
Kalila questions Lodan who ties Javier with rope.
"I need something on the treasures, as for the rest you can keep them."
Lodan pats Kalila's head as he heads down the tower.
Kalila blushes and takes everything inside the tower, not missing anything.
"Fuuu, he treats me like a kid sometimes."
Kalila flusteredly close her spacial magic.
Lodan who was waiting outside opened his world map, the world map was really wide, Lodan marked their next destination, Ember Kingdom.
Kalila exits the tower and taps Lodan's back.
"Oh, are you ready to head to our next destination? We will be crossing to another continent so everything might be abit different for you."
Lodan warns Kalila.
"Aw, how many continents are there anyways."
Kalila yawns as she asked Lodan.
Lodan looks at the world map and points at the current continent they are on.
"This is the continent we are on right now, besides it, there are 78 other continents. We will be going to every continent to recuit the best companions we can, a dark magician will be the most important."
Lodan instructs.
"AH! you know so much so why don't you help me out?"
Kalila nervously asked.
"About what?"
Lodan replies, he looked at Kalila and wraps his map.
"Do you know any human named Gu Chen?"
Kalila asked in a polite tone, Lodan freezes upon hearing the name Kalila mentioned and wore his bag.
"What's your relation with that rotten bastard?"
Lodan glared at kalila behind him furiously, Kalila flinched at Lodan's bloodlust.
Does he have a grudge against my dad, I guess I shouldn't reveal my real connection with dad for now Kalila thoughts to herself.
"Oh, I just heard about a person named Gu Chen from someone, im quite curious who the person is."
Kalila nervously lies for the first time.
Lodan sighs and answers Kalila.
"Gu Chen is one of the Ten Kings and also the strongest swordsman from Scorch Dynasty, he's also a cruel person who conquered many kingdoms. I know him well, afterall he killed my family when I first awakened my ability, If I didn't regress that time I would have lost myself."
"I see."
Kalila didn't look further into Lodan's past and threw a ring to Lodan.
"Here, All the relics from the tower are in the ring, I only kept the gold coins."
"Yeah, thanks. Let's g-"
All of the sudden, when Lodan and Kalila was about to go, a powerful beam blasts them both, the powerful wind borne by the wind flicks all the trees in the surroundings into dust.
Fortunately, Kalila's fast reaction blocked the beam with her golden scaled wings and saving Lodan from death.
"That was a close one, thanks."
Lodan thanks Kalila and quickly positioned himself, both of them spots their opponent after the dusts faded.
A naked red haired handsome man smirks and vanishes, only to appear behind Lodan. His sharp hands sliced a deep cut on Lodan who barely dodged the attack, even Kalila couldn't notice his movements.
"Hah, now I remember."
Lodan who can barely move unsheathes his sword.
"You have some unusual sword, just like that man."
The Red haired man said before attacking again, but to his suprised Lodan blocked his attack.
"That sword style, one of the Ten Kings, Javier The Pretentious!"
Lodan charges his attack and throws a powerful blow that scares Javier.
Javier blocked the attack, when he blocked the attack, both were gone.
Lodan who were holding Kalila's wrist ran for his life, as if being chased by a monstrosity that couldn't be defeated.
"Hey, Hey! Lodan who was he that your so afraid of?"
Kalila asked while they ran away til they reached the Kroger harbor, they both stop.
"You underestimate humans alot but today don't let your arrogance get in the way, the Ten Kings is the peak of humanity, Javier is one of them, he has an unique ability, when he's full he becomes fat and becomes insanely weak, on the other side, when he's hungry he becomes thin and insanely strong!"
Lodan flies to the sky but Kalila was left behind.
"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? tch, Javier might appear anytime!"
Lodan goes down and tries to pull Kalila up the sky.
"The strongest Human?"
Kalila smiles excitedly.
"No way, there's just no way we'd risk fighting one of the Ten King's!"
Lodan's greatest fear had come, Javier had caught up with them.
"You both dare disgrace me while I was being kind! Woman! I was kind enough to show my love and this is how you treat me!?"
Javier furiously attacks Kalila with his sharp hands that Kalila blocks. With the close distance, Kalila released her fire breath and burns Javier.
Javier rolls on the ground sceaming in agony, when Kalila tries to attack him unguarded, he throws a ball that hits Kalila's head.
The ball exploded and created a huge crater 2 kilometers wide.
When the dust created by the explosion faded, a huge golden dragon appeared.
"HAHAHA! SO YOU WERE A DRAGON! What a lucky catch"
Javier says with amusement as he licked his lips.
Kalila, with her full power in dragon form decided to chant her 9th cycle magic.

With a single spell, the whole island was frozen, literally.
Javier was frozen, no signs of movement, it wasn't just a way to neutralize him, it was to trap him in the cold forever, a permanent punishment worse than death. Afterall, watching everything and unable to do anything is another way of immortal suffering.
A statue of glass in a surrounding full of white, Javier was a monument to the endless night, bound by the weight of a frozen will.
Lodan who was in the side unaffected was shocked, dragons full power was more terrifying than he anticipated.
With such a powerful figure losing to an unknown girl with dragon lineage,
many powerful foes will be surrounding us pretty soon enough...
With Javier unable to make any hostile attacks, Lodan relaxed as he finally breathed comfortably.
"You're a monster yourself, so I shouldn't worry about you anymore."
Lodan admits, Kalila returns to her human form full of fatigue after draining her mana.
"No you were right, he's the strongest opponent I had fought beside his majesty."
Kalila drops to the ground resting.
"Ah you mean the King of golden dragons? Well that's true, the Ten Kings are pretty much dragon level monstrosities too themselves."
Lodan chuckled as he approached Kalila, then carrying her on his back.
"Shall we head to our next place to wreck havoc then?"
