Chapter 3 - Craftsman

A Thousand years ago, a dwarf named Kline roams the world aimlessly, Kline was widely known for his incredible works, he made the 10 ancient legendary weapon series and the works he made was always top notch.

Legend has it said that Kline dissappeared after creating the 7th Origin class weapon to ever exist on the world, but the sword actually had it's own will.

Kline took 200 years creating the sword he expected to be a mythic class, that unknowingly became an ego sword and later on became a cursed origin sword.

He made a huge mistake creating the weapon, he deemed the weapon a huge threat and decided to throw it into the God abyss, the God abyss was the portal to different timelines so the sword was no longer bound by time, he was petrified when he looked upon the falling sword. The Gods were immortal, so he thought maybe... Just maybe they could suppress the sword with no problem.

However, the Gods were actually screaming in agony.

The Gods that were supposed to be the ruler of the world and governs it, with no other choice in mind the God's who couldn't suppress the chaos of the sword decided to seal it with the supreme scabbard of the dragon God, made from golden scales and indestructible texture.

Due to the severe damage caused by a dwarf, the Gods decided to punish the dwarf, they branded him a traitor who opposed the Gods. The deities were extremely angry and embarrassed so they put the blame on the dwarf for the damage and ordered humans to execute the dwarf.

This sparked anger on the giant clan who was fond of the dwarf and declared war on the Supreme Gods.

The giants knew opposing the Gods can only result in death, in order to fight back and retaliate, they went to the world tree where the origin weapon-chaos sword were sealed.

The weapon that deserves the name for it's God slaying capabilities, the giants did not think greatly of the Gods no more, they thought the Gods were just hypocrites who thinks they can govern the world just because of their ridiculous power.

30 years later, dwarfs, elves, giants, Pyxie, dragon, and humans took part on this rebellion against the gods, but the Gods were omniscient, they knew the plans, the clan leaders who were on the plan was played by the Gods.

They cursed the elves, turning them into goblins that craves for flesh, not only that, they also imprisoned the female elves and made them their playthings out of boredom.

The giant king finally led and launched the attack, they used the origin sword to create a rift in order to enter the Gods domain, making the Gods slightly afraid.

But not even a minute later, the army of different races was eradicated by only one God who governs war and death, it was the god of war.

The other side was no match for the Gods,

No one knows what happened to the dwarf and the sword.

"Well that's the end of the story. As for how I got this weapon, I got it in a cheap merchant on the streets"

Ladon calmly claims.

"Our ancestor, the Dragon God is actually evil? Blasphemous words! Do you wanna die!?"

Kalila gathered mana on her hand ready to strike a powerful blow.

"Why don't you calm down, I'm just telling you an old legend from an ancient text book, no need to be agitated, plus the legend didn't even say the dragon God was involved."

Lodan sighs and sat on his desk.

Kalila calms down and sat down on the couch.

"I'll get straight to point here, in 5 years the God's will visit the surface, I need your help to prevent that from happening."

Lodan reveals a horrifying claim that shocks Kalila.

"How come a human like you knows so much, are you trying to trick me! You underestimate my knowledge!"

Kalila pridely puffs out her arrogance.

Lodan didn't care, afterall dragons are naturally arrogant and prideful.

"I don't care what you think, I'm telling you all this since you're a worthy companion to keep on my journey."

"You see, I've been using the origin sword to revert time all over again, or you can just call it regression."

Lodan picks it up, throws the sword to kalila and stood up.

"Ohoh! The sword felt incredible so that's what it's capable of! To think an origin sword was in your possession, can I have it?"

Kalila eagerly reaches for the sword slowly but Lodan takes it away.

The both of them ran in circles until a servant knocked on the door, lunch was ready.

Kalila breaks through the door, entered the dining hall and sat on the chair where the dine was prepared as well as the desserts.

Kalila looks at Lodan and pats on the nearby chair and took a bite at the steaming hot grilled steak.

The texture of the steak was juicy and drippy.

"Let's talk about your issue later, eat up first!"

Lodan sighs and sat on the chair, and cut his grilled meat as he dipped it on the sauce, taking a small bite on the meat, the dipped sauce drips from the juicy steak onto the oak textured table. Lodan was delighted by the taste and took another bite before drinking a glass of water.

It's almost as if she feels more at home than me. Lodan thoughts to himself displeased by her shameless actions, but he did not hate it but impressed him more instead.

"Whoa, what are this foods!? It's different from the ones I eat back in my lair." Kalila was fascinated by the unique tastes of each various dishes on the dining table, one after another kept catching her off guard, afterall it was her first time eating human delicacy.

Her movements were a study in grace as she dine, bringing each morsel to her lips with unhurried elegance. She chewed with a gentle rhythm, her posture impeccable, and a soft smile playing on her lips as she savored the delicate flavors, Lodan looked at Kalila in awe as she gracefully ate, however it was just in Lodan's imagination.

Kalila ate like a wild beast, she ate barehandedly and shove the foods onto her mouth like a magnet, they both finished after an hour.

Both of them were filled, they ate too much so Lodan proposed to train outside.

Lodan went ahead without waiting, afterall, he knew that dragons are too prideful of their natural strength that they never train no matter what.

Without noticing, Kalila was following behind Lodan until they reached Lodan's private training ground. Lodan flinched and did not expect Kalila to follow him.

"What are you doing here?"

Lodan questions while picking the spear up.

"Train? Duh!"

Kalila also picks up a spear and showcases her spear skills.

Her spearsmanship was horrible, really horrible. But her incredible strength covers the fact her horrible techniques are ineffective against real opponents.

Lodan chuckles and goes behind Kalila unbeknownst to her, Lodan adjusts Kalila's stance.

"Spearmanship is the skill, art, or mastery of using a spear, involving techniques for thrusting, slashing, deflecting, and precise strikes, often with variations like lances, emphasizing body mechanics, footwork, and control for offense and defense, you can't just throw random attacks as you see fit."

Lodan mutters behind Kalila's ears, making her blush in embarrassment.

Their seductive position made Kalila back off as she was flushed by Lodan's weird interactions with her ever since she defeated Lodan.

What's up with his behavior? Is he actually a pervert who's interested in dragon fetish!?

Kalila slightly moved away atleast a meter away from Lodan before thinking about the hints and guidance Lodan gave her.

With just a simple instructions, her spear technique improved significantly even though there was only a few instructions.

If a dragon reduced their pride and actually trained, then they would've gotten even more powerful beside having vast knowledge on magic. I'd like to see it, if Kalila who's a dragon actually train and pour hardwork along with talent, what peak will she stand on? Will she prevent the upcoming catastrophic event that will come in the near future? Lodan thoughts to himself.

"Ah right! Weren't there a human girl with you? Where's she? She was pretty interesting"

Kalila asked wondering where the companion he had have gone to.

"Oh, you mean mina. She's a adventurer like me who took the mission to scout the city since large number of orges were spotted near the city walls." Lodan calmly replied before handing a badge to Kalila.

"Eh what's this?"

Kalila wondered.

"Oh dang, you're clueless about adventurer ranks too? And here I thought dragons know more about the world than humans."

Lodan jokingly said in a mocking tone, Kalila was unfazed by Lodan's humor.

It wasn't even funny to Kalila who was isolated from the outside world for too long. Lodan sighs and took back his badge as the corny joke he made cringed him as well.

"I'll explain, listen carefully because I don't like to repeat things all over again.

Alright, there are 5 adventurer ranks and a badge determines their capabilities,

bronze, silver, gold, platinum, and lastly the badge that only the strongest adventurers possess which is the diamond badge."

Lodan proudly said while he flexes his diamond badge infront of Kalila who was unimpressed.
