Chapter 11 - My Fist Is Hard.

After a short while, the group arrived at the entrance of the Knights of Favonius headquarters.

The two Knights standing guard at the entrance immediately performed a Knight's Salute toward Kaeya. But when they saw Jibril they shivered and nearly lost their footing.

"...Do I really look that much like the Anemo Archon?" Jibril leaned close to Lumine's ear and whispered.

Lumine shook her head and slightly turned her face away as she avoided the heat of the Flügel's breath.

"Haha... perhaps Jibril's aura is just too powerful?" Kaeya spread his hands helplessly. "After all, travelers like you are certainly not common."

After entering the Knights of Favonius headquarters, a tall, blonde woman wearing a Knight's uniform walked out through the door to greet them.

Also following her was a charming older sister figure dressed entirely in purple emerged.

"Jean, you were too impatient. Didn't I say that I had already brought them..."

Seeing Jean appear, Kaeya then introduced her to the two behind him.

"Acting Grand Master Jean, I've brought the people. Let's go inside and talk."

Jean's gaze swept over the two politely and cautiously. As she finally rested her eyes on Jibril. "Very well. Please follow me, esteemed travelers..."

Everyone entered the office together, where a subtle, faint fragrance wafted toward them.

After closing the door, Kaeya immediately began reporting Stormterror-related matters to Jean and also took out the "gift" Jibril had given him to show off.

"...and once it was over I brought them straight here." Kaeya said as he crossed his arms.

Jean pondered slightly as if weighing something and finally looked at the two travelers before her.

"Mondstadt welcomes you, windborne travelers."

"I am Jean, Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius. This is Lisa, our resident Librarian."

Jibril turned her head. Although she forced herself not to care, she couldn't ignore the "big" sister figure beside her who was staring intently at her.

"Oh my, you finally decided to look over. Are you sweeties here to help us out because we're short-handed? You're all so adorable!"

The Flügel felt a full-body tingle. Her ear feathers involuntarily twitched, but she forcibly flattened them again.

...That's too sickeningly sweet~

'Isn't my image supposed to be that of a powerful person suspected of being a god? How dare she flirt with me?'

The System said scornfully. [The innocents in some people's eyes can never be hidden.]

Jibril : It's hard. My fist is hard.

[T/L: I don't think she meant a fist....]

"Lisa..." Jean looked at Jibril with some concern. Afraid that the Flügel would feel offended.

But clearly, she was happy to receive this kind of offense—the more the better!

"Acting Grand Master Jean, it's fine." Jibril smiled politely. "Lisa's words, like her beauty... are pleasing to the eye."

As she spoke, she deliberately imitated Lisa's tone, adding a sweet, syrupy lilt to the last few words.

Being stuck between two "big sisters" was torture for Lumine!

"Oh my~ your words are so sweet." Lisa chuckled as she covered her mouth. "I really wish I could take you two around Mondstadt for a few days. But unfortunately... the timing isn't right."

"Stormterror has caused quite the ruckus in the region since its recent resurgence."

"Simply put, Mondstadt's elemental sphere and ley lines are now akin to a yarn ball in the paws of a kitten." Lisa explained helplessly.

Jibril slightly retracted her wings. To outsiders, she might seem to look like she's just maintaining her floating state. But in reality, she was sensing the magic (Spirit Corridor) within her wings.

Just as Lisa had said. The flow of Anemo throughout Mondstadt was extremely chaotic. A certain Anemo Archon who wasn't doing their job might have taken some measures but they sure were clearly ineffective.

"So that's it!" Lumine nodded.

"For a mage, it couldn't get much worse. My skin is one element particle away from a full-blown breakout..."

As a Flügel, Jibril also felt this deeply.

Those violent elements were continuously and harshly pouring into her sensitive spirit circuits. This feeling was truly far from pleasant.

"Oh, right, this little... *Ahem* Jibril!"

The beautiful 'big sister' figure moved closer. Although she still had to look up slightly, she still brought a sense of pressure to the Flügel.

*Ahem* physical pressure.

...You know, as the saying goes. 'Beyond mountains, there are mountains.'

[T/L: It's an actual quote. It just means that there are always more problems after one. But I don't think we're talking about that in this case... (ᵕ—ᴗ—) ]

"But if you don't mind, I'm very interested in the sword you gave Kaeya~"

"Oh! Of course, I don't mind. This isn't exactly an important secret."

Jibril shifted her body and forcibly moved her gaze from the deep ravine directly below her to Lumine beside her.

"The essence of magic is controlling elements. I'm able to like... 'Materialize' the elements?" The Flügel pointed to the Magic Guide in Lisa's hand. "That's Lisa's Catalyst right? Want to guess what mine is?"

Lisa quickly scanned the Flügel's body. There was no trace of a Catalyst. Should she be surprised or not... she didn't even have a Vision.

Seeing Lisa's helpless expression, the Flügel's expression suddenly became subtle. "Hehe... it's actually my wings~"

"Ah... that is unexpected..."

"How about it, Lisa~ Sister~ Want to touch them? You must be gentle though, they are very—"

"Ahem!"

"Ahem!"

Two coughs sounded. Jibril and Lisa simultaneously turned their heads and saw a tall and a short blonde awkwardly looking at each other.

[T/L: ¬‿¬]

There was a subtle sense of déjà vu.

"Alright everyone... Let's get down to business first." Jean reminded them from the side.

"If it weren't for those interferences that Lisa had mentioned. The Knights of Favonius would have better ways to help you than just putting up missing person posters."

Hearing Jean's words, Jibril and Lumine exchanged glances.

Right now, a certain dummy was about to accept a quest! (˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥)

"We can't just let the Knights of Favonius worry about this alone. We'll help out."

"Mhm.. me too." Jibril replied lightly.

"Good. In that case we need a plan."

Jean looked at Kaeya approvingly. "With Stormterror now directly attacking Mondstadt, we may have an opportunity to cut this problem off at the source."

"Lisa had revealed the sources of Stormterror's power with her detection magic."

"Is that so?"

Lisa looked over to Kaeya. "They're located in the abandoned Four Winds' Temples. Stormterror's ability to whip up these kinds of storms can be attributed to it drawing power from the temples."

Jean watched as the storm gradually dissipated outside the window and the tense expression on her face finally relaxed slightly.

"Our objective is to deal with three of the four temples. I trust that everyone understands why we are only dealing with three."

"Paimon doesn't."

Paimon quickly raised her hand as she looked blankly at Jean alongside Lumine.

"Haha... I think it will be easier for our little darling to understand during the mission~" Lisa gently patted Lumine's head, fully displaying the tenderness of an Older Woman.

As for why she didn't touch Jibril?

Don't ask. If you ask, the answer is she was flying too high and Lisa was too lazy to reach...
