Lancelot's Mutant Evolution Headquarters

Two vehicles drove through the entrance and descended into the vast underground base.

They soon came to a halt on a massive platform. Lancelot stepped out with Raven and Darwin.

"Th-this… this is the home of mutant evolution you mentioned, Lancelot?"

"It's… enormous."

Raven stared at the base before him, shock written all over his face.

This facility was more than a hundred times larger than the X-Base they had once stayed in. Its complete infrastructure and staffing left Raven in awe.

From facilities and personnel to logistics and security, everything here surpassed the former X-Base—one could even call it luxurious.

Raven and Darwin instinctively glanced at each other, stunned by the sheer number of security guards, researchers, and logistics staff.

"Welcome, Miss Raven, and Mr. Darwin."

"May the glory of mutation bloom because of you."

As Raven and Darwin continued to observe the Evolution Home, a CIA agent approached them. He looked at them with admiration and respect, holding two specially made medals.

"The future of humanity will be shaped by you. You are great pioneers and explorers. Please allow me to offer you my highest respect."

"Change and Glory."

The agent, visibly excited, presented the medals to Raven and Darwin.

Raven lowered his head and glanced at the medal in his hand. It was exquisitely crafted—on the front was a fiery red bird in flight, and on the back, a crystal-clear blood-red eye.

"What is this?" Raven asked in surprise, turning to Lancelot.

"The Evolution Medal," Lancelot replied briefly. "It represents evolution and honor."

With that, he led Raven and Darwin toward the core research sector of the base.

"This is the treatment mutants truly deserve," Raven said softly as he followed, excitement and joy still shining in his eyes.

Along the way, every gaze they encountered was filled with respect—no disgust, no fear, no discrimination. Only reverence.

For the first time, Raven felt that a world without prejudice and hatred was within reach.

"My king."

While Raven momentarily lost his bearings, Lancelot had already arrived at the heart of the base—

A cutting-edge genetic laboratory dedicated to unlocking the full potential of mutants.

The moment the scientists inside saw Lancelot, they stopped their work and bowed respectfully.

"Dr. Leonard, how is the research on Victor's self-healing factor progressing?" Lancelot asked with a slight nod, turning to the head of the lab.

"My lord, we have successfully isolated the self-healing factor from Mr. Victor's cells," Dr. Leonard replied excitedly.

"Based on our calculations, this factor is an extraordinary genetic repair agent capable of restoring any physical damage."

"Even if only Mr. Victor's head remained, as long as the healing factor was active, he could theoretically regenerate an entirely new body."

Dr. Leonard spoke rapidly, barely able to contain his excitement.

After defeating Sabretooth, Lancelot had required Victor to provide blood samples for research. His original goal was to help fully develop Victor's mutant abilities through genetic analysis.

But now, Lancelot had a better solution.

"Review this data," Lancelot said, cutting off Dr. Leonard's excited explanation. "Calculate whether this drug is effective on mutants."

Victor handed over the vial, along with research records on mutant growth hormones.

Two hours later, an even more excited Dr. Leonard returned to Lancelot.

"My lord, the person who developed this drug is an absolute genius," he said, holding a research report, his voice filled with admiration.

After thoroughly analyzing the data, Dr. Leonard was deeply shaken. According to his findings, this mutant growth hormone was the purest gene catalyst imaginable—with no side effects whatsoever.

It catalyzed special genetic mutations at the most fundamental level, instantly pushing them into a fully matured mutant state.

Human evolution is not instantaneous, nor is mutant evolution. Normally, awakening mutant abilities requires long periods of adaptation and gradual growth until the power stabilizes.

This drug, however, skipped that entire process—bringing a mutant's abilities to full maturity in a single step.

"However," Dr. Leonard concluded, "this mutant growth hormone has one limitation: it only works on mutants with physical mutation traits."

"My king," Victor said, his eyes burning with desire. He dropped to one knee before Lancelot.

"I beg you—allow me to use this drug."

Although Victor had regained his reason and intelligence, his nature still craved strength. He could barely contain his eagerness to experience the effects of the growth hormone.

"As you wish, Victor," Lancelot said with a smile, immediately granting his request.

The drug had originally been developed for physically mutated mutants anyway. Even without Victor's plea, Lancelot had planned to let him test it.

"Mr. Victor, please follow me," Lancelot said with a nod.

Dr. Leonard respectfully led Victor into a specially prepared chamber. He handed him the vial of mutant growth hormone and attached induction patches across Victor's powerful body before quickly leaving the room.

"Mr. Victor, after injection, please report all sensations immediately," Dr. Leonard said from the observation room, standing beside over a dozen scientists monitoring the instruments.

"This data will be invaluable for the future of mutant research."
