Inside the specially reinforced alloy chamber, Victor—Sabretooth—sat on a metal bed, gazing at Lancelot through the observation window with fanatic devotion and reverence, patiently awaiting his command.

"Go ahead, Victor," Lancelot said, nodding slightly through the glass.

Without the slightest hesitation, Victor smiled and drove the needle straight into the artery of his right arm.

Once the mutant growth hormone was fully injected, he pulled the needle out. The puncture wound healed instantly, leaving no trace behind.

"Mr. Victor, how do you feel?" Dr. Leonard asked from behind the observation window as he activated the recording equipment.

"I feel… incredibly relaxed," Victor said after sensing his body carefully. A rare expression of ease appeared on his face, and his sharp claws slowly retracted.

"It's like a massive weight has been lifted."

His once massive physique visibly shrank, becoming closer to that of an ordinary man. Even his height dropped—from over two meters down to about 1.8 meters.

The thick beard on his face vanished as well.

"I can't feel my mutant abilities anymore," Victor said in surprise, staring at his body.

This was the first time Victor truly felt like a normal human—no surging vitality, no overwhelming strength, not even the muscles he once relied on.

The sensation made him deeply uncomfortable, yet at the same time, it gave him a clearer understanding of his mutation.

His power—his identity—came from becoming Sabretooth.

Without mutation, he was nothing more than a fragile ordinary man.

Standing quietly at the observation window, Lancelot watched Victor's current form. He now closely resembled Sabretooth as seen in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, completely different from the towering giant he once was.

ROAR!

Five minutes later, Victor suddenly let out a bone-chilling roar.

His face twisted in agony, veins bulging across his forehead as intense pain tore through his body.

"Mr. Victor, report your status," Dr. Leonard said sternly, eyes fixed on the rapidly changing data displayed on the instruments.

"It hurts—!" Victor howled. "It feels like my entire body is being torn apart inch by inch!"

Visible changes erupted across his body.

Crack. Crack. Crack.

The sound of bones shattering echoed through the chamber as Victor's skeleton fractured piece by piece—only to be reconstructed again at the cellular level.

His height began to swell rapidly, like an inflating balloon.

Muscle mass surged back over his body, thicker and more refined than before.

ROAR!

Victor collapsed to the ground in pain as two massive fangs burst from his mouth.

His facial features twisted violently—human traits fading away, replaced by the savage visage of a beast.

Bones and muscles continued expanding.

His height shot past 1.8 meters.

Two and a half meters.

Three meters.

Four meters.

At four meters tall, the transformation finally stopped.

His limbs were perfectly proportioned, thick and powerful. His hands and feet had become feline paws, complete with pads and razor-sharp edges.

"ROAR—!"

Victor dropped to all fours and unleashed a thunderous roar. The sound waves ricocheted through the metal chamber, overlapping like a forest of roaring tigers, sending chills down every spine.

Brown fur rapidly spread across his entire body. A long tail burst from his back, whipping through the air like a steel lash, detonating with explosive force.

"My God… this is a miracle!"

"This is atavistic evolution—humanity returning to its primal origins!"

"This is another milestone in the history of human evolution!"

The scientists in the core lab gasped in awe as they stared at the now-stabilized Sabretooth.

"Victor, how do you feel?" Lancelot asked, smiling through the observation window.

At this moment, there was no trace of humanity left in the chamber.

Only a powerful, majestic prehistoric beast remained.

A Sabretooth Tiger.

Four meters long, covered in brown fur, with a tiger's head, massive limbs, and gleaming saber-like fangs. Its proportions were flawless, its presence overwhelming.

As it crawled forward, the metal floor beneath its claws caved in, leaving a deep crater.

A pair of brilliant golden animal eyes shimmered with excitement.

"My lord," Victor said, kneeling on all fours and bowing deeply toward Lancelot,

"I feel incredible."

He could feel overwhelming strength coursing through his body—along with astonishing agility and reaction speed. The heaviness he once felt was completely gone.

In its place was a primal, instinctive perception—as if he had been born a Sabretooth.

A low growl rumbled from his throat.

Victor raised one massive paw. Five razor-sharp claws slid out from the pads and lightly scraped against the alloy wall.

Like slicing tofu, the claws pierced straight through the metal, carving five deep gouges into the surface.

More importantly, Victor realized that his mutation had evolved into a full-body form—and that he could now freely control his transformations.

ROAR.

With another growl, his massive body rapidly shrank, reverting back into his original two-meter-tall human form.

"Just as expected," Lancelot said with satisfaction as he watched from the window.

"This mutant growth hormone has an unimaginable effect on physically mutated mutants."

To Lancelot, physical—especially animal-type—mutations were no different from Zoan-type Devil Fruits.

The only difference was time.

Natural mutation took years—sometimes decades—to mature.

But now, with the mutant growth hormone, Lancelot could effortlessly create an army of evolved mutants.

"This state shall be called—Mutant Awakening."

With a final glance at Victor, Lancelot officially named Sabretooth's new form.
