"Andria ....Andria ..." She felt Karlye take off her shoes as he gently called her name.
"Mmm .." Her body was trembling so much that she clenched her fists.
"You need to take off these clothes ...and get into the tub " he said.
She nodded; her head was getting heavy, and her sight was hazy.
"Let's get you to the bathroom" he said
He took the tower off her shoulder and led her to his bathroom.
She noticed the bathtub was already filled with warm water.
"I will be right out, call me if you need something " he said to her.
Andria felt the door close behind her.
She breathed then slowly took off her clothes and dipped her cold body into the tub. The warm water felt like a warm embrace around her.
When she stepped out, Karlye was standing outside the door.
"Ahh, I will leave now ", she said, trying to run off, but he caught her, pulling her back by her arm.
He moved to the bed, grabbing the clothes the maids had bought for her, "Go get dressed, he said, pointing to his walk-in closet.
She did as she was told, when she returned he was sitting on the bed.
"Come here ", he said, and Andria moved to where he was..."Sit down.
She noticed he was pointing at the bed next to him. Sitting down, he passed the tray with a bowl of soup to her.
"Try some...it will help you warm up " he said.
Karlye watched her take the soup until she finished it.
"It was good " she commented after. Taking the tray, he said, "Get in bed and lie down , I will be back.
When the door closed Andria wondered what was going on. He had not asked her what had happened but kept telling her what to do.
Andria, still confused, lay down.
Karlye took a while to return, he checked on Myra and talked to George too, by the time he got back Andria was sleeping.
George had told him that he had found her crying in the rain next to her sister's grave. He knew how it felt to lose someone so abruptly and not even have a proper chance to mourn for them.
Quietly, he moved to the bed, lying down next to her.
"I am here if you need a shoulder to cry on " he mumbled.
