Chapter 4 - The Serpent Prince’s Forbidden Love

Alina was very happy to see this and was also surprised that she, too, could do magic and had a magical power within her. She was happ,y and Saraf was just staring at her. He was losing control of himself with his eyes. He suddenly came to her and took Alina in his arms. It all happened so suddenly that Alina could not think of anything. In this way, he got very close to Elena, and he started looking at Alina's red lips and his control over himself was gone, and he placed his lips on Alina's lips and closed his eyes. He started feeling her lips, and Elen, who was standing silently watching all this, could not say anything because she also liked Saraf in her heart, but was afraid to say anything. Alina also closed her eyes. In this way, Seraf started moving his lips and kissing her slowly. At the same time, hearing a movement in the bushes, he suddenly pulled back, and Alina and she both came to their senses. Alina was blushing with shame. Sirab held her hand and said, "Come on, I'll take you to my palace." When Siraf held Alina's hand, she remembered that she had seen magic coming out of her hand a while ago, and she was amazed once again.

The light from the magical temple had just dimmed when the wind took a new direction.

Elena's ears still echoed with the explosion of light, her heart was beating fast, and a strange heat remained in her hands.

She sat down on the ground, panting.

"I... how did I do all this?"

Her voice was trembling.

Seraph immediately came to her, knelt down and held her hands.

The touch of his fingers was cold but extremely soothing.

"Because you are not ordinary, Elena..."

There was tenderness in his voice, love too, and a deep fear.

Elena looked into his eyes.

Those eyes that had always held secrets... today they held pride.

"I'm afraid, Seraph..."

Elena said slowly

"This power... this world... and you... Everything is too much."

Seraph placed her hand on his chest.

"As long as this beats, you are not alone."

This moment was…silent "I'm taking you to a place where you'll be safe.

But you have to trust me completely for what's going to happen."

"Where?" Elena asked, but the Seraph didn't answer.

He just twirled his finger in the air.

Suddenly, blue and gold markings appeared on the ground—in the shape of snakes.

The markings spun… and became a doorway of light.

Elena's breath caught.

"This… where does this lead?"

The Seraph looked at her "My home."

As they passed through the light door, Elena's eyes widened in surprise.

Ahead was a grand palace

The walls were made of sparkling emerald, gold, and blue crystal

The pillars were carved with serpents

But so beautiful that they inspired peace rather than fear

The palace seemed to be suspended in the air

And there was a halo of light around it

"This... it's like a dream..." Elena's voice trembled

The seraph said softly:

"This is Serpentia - but you see it all differently."

"What do you mean?"

The seraph closed his eyes And recited an ancient spell

"Vellara Hominis, keep the truth hidden..."

Suddenly, Elena felt her clothes change

She now looked like a magical princess

And... whispers came into her ears

"Now no one here will know that you are human."

Elena said in a panic: "Why did you do all this?"

Seraph looked at her

"Because if the truth comes out… You will be in danger."

As soon as they entered the palace Voices came from all directions

"The prince has returned!" "And he is not alone!"

The women of the palace, the elders, the children—all bowed with joy

Their eyes were not surprised But happy.

"Who is this?"

"How beautiful!"

"The prince's fate has awakened!"

A kind, queen-like woman came forward

She held Elena's hands

"Daughter, you have brought our prince back smiling.

We are very happy with you."

Tears welled up in Elena's eyes

So much love… without knowing…

The Seraph smiled heartily for the first time and said:

"I told you… You are safe."

By a golden pillar of the palace stood a golden serpent

her hair like gold, eyes poisonous and a heart... full of jealousy

"Who is this girl?" She gritted her teeth

"Why is she with the prince?"

her fist clenched

"The seraph was only mine..."

Night was slowly falling on the palace.

The night in Serpentia was not like ordinary nights—

Here, the moonlight did not fall on the ground, but floated in the air.

The crystal walls were gathering the moonlight and scattering it in a thousand colours.

Every pillar, every corridor, every ceiling shone as if the stars had made the palace their home.

Elena stood by the window, watching it all.

"This place… breathes,"

She said slowly, "As if it were alive."

The seraph quietly came up behind her.

Her voice was soft, even deep.

"This palace recognises its people.

And whoever is pure in heart… it accepts them."

Elena turned and looked at him.

"Then this palace is very kind… it took me in right away."

A hint of pain flashed in the seraph's eyes for a moment.

"I wish… You knew the price of this acceptance."

Seraph said softly,

"Come, I'll show you the most beautiful place in the palace."

He took her upstairs—

to a rooftop where the moon seemed very close.

The air smelled of the ancient magic of snakes

and of flowers that only bloomed at night

Elena spread her hands "This... this is all like a dream."

Seraph stood beside her so close that she could feel his breath

"This is not a dream, Elena..." "This is destiny," he said softly

"Elena's heart beat fast.

"Why do you always talk like this? As if you know everything... and I know nothing."

Seraph looked at her "Because if I told the truth..."

"His voice trembled "Then you might be afraid of me."

Elena said immediately, "I'm not afraid of you, Seraph.

I... I trust you."

Hearing this, Seraph closed his eyes

as if trying to control himself

"That's what scares me the most."

If she knew…

If she knew that he was not human…

That he was the prince of snakes…

She lowered her eyes. In the other part of the palace in the golden light

She stood Zarin, the golden serpent. Her eyes were looking at the two on the roof from afar, "Human girl..." she said through gritted teeth

"So close to my prince?" With her breath

poisonous golden waves ran through the air

"I have obeyed the laws of this palace for centuries Fought battles for it

and now... a stranger?" Zarin raised her hand

and Elena's reflection appeared in the mirror "I will not tolerate you here."

That night, a grand banquet was held in the palace. The chandeliers were twisting in the shape of snakes. Music was floating in the air. Elena looked no less than a princess in her white and blue magical dress. Everyone was praising her. "How modest!" "What a pure soul!" The queen smiled and said, "Daughter, you are the light of our palace." Elena's eyes became moist. "I have never seen such love." The seraph was watching her from afar, with only one wish in his heart that this moment would never end. But... The Tsarina stepped forward, smiling in her golden dress, but with poison in her eyes. "Can I know..." She said in a sweet voice, "Where did you come from?" Elena tried to tell the truth

But…

The Seraph's magic immediately kicked in

"She is from a distant kingdom," The Seraph said softly

"And she is our guest."

Zarin looked at the Seraph for a moment

Her smile trembled "Guest…?"

She said to herself, "Or the Queen of Hearts?"

The night grew dark.k The banquet was over

Elena returned to her room, but she did not notice

A golden shadow had settled on her door

Zarin said softly, "Sleep, human girl...

Tomorrow will be your day of trial."

A slightly poisonous spell came out of her hand

That began to permeate her dreams.

He said in his heart, "Even if I have to fight my own reality."

In the moonlight, his eyes

glittered like snakes for a moment

but then his human form returned.
