Chapter 2 - The Serpent Prince’s Forbidden Love

After the first night, Elena woke up in the middle of the forest. The air smelled of magic, the branches of the trees shimmered with soft light, and everywhere was a desolate but charming peace. She still couldn't understand whether this was all reality or part of a dream. The ground was soft and quiet, and a secret light illuminated her path with every step, as if the forest itself was welcoming her into itself.

Suddenly, a soft and mysterious voice was heard:

"How did you get here, Elena?"

Elena stopped, her heart pounding. She looked around and saw a young boy standing in front of her, his hair looking light golden in the shadows of the night, and his eyes that seemed to know something. He was mysterious, but not afraid. There was a strange calm and trust in the young man's presence.

"I… how did I get here? I don't even know," Elena said hesitantly. "All this… all this seems like magic."

The young man said with a faint smile, "This forest has always been full of magic, but it only opens to those who are pure of heart and courageous. You have set foot here yourself."

Elena asked in surprise, "Who are you? What is your name?"

"People call me Seraph," the young man said. "And you? Why did your steps come to this forest?"

Elena widened her eyes and said, "I… I was just seeing the light… and then… then I was here."

Seraph said slowly, "Light sometimes leads people to paths they cannot imagine on their own. Your courage has placed you here."

The two of them started walking through the middle of the forest. Elena looked around, magic was everywhere—the flowers were sparkling with light, the tree branches were swaying like soft music, and the sounds of magical birds could be heard from afar. Elena's surprise grew with every step, and a strange fear and attraction were present in her heart at the same time.

"All this… how is all this possible?" Elena asked in surprise.

Seraph laughed lightly and said, "Magic. This world is made of magic. But remember, with every magical power comes danger. Not everyone is safe here."

Elena asked in fear, "Danger? What do you mean?"

Seraph thought for a while, then said, "There are also some old enemies here who can endanger the peace of this forest. But you don't need to worry, I am with you."

The two of them reached the shore of a small lake. The water was completely transparent, and magical fish were seen floating in the air. Elena leaned closer to the water and saw her reflection in the water.

"This… this doesn't really seem like my world," she whispered.

Seraph looked at her closely, and a strange smile crossed her eyes. "This world can show you more than you can dream of, Elena."

Elena and Seraph continued walking through the forest. She saw magic everywhere—little fairy-like creatures hiding in the shadows of the trees, magical flowers bathed in colourful light, and soft mists floating in the air. Everything was new and fascinating to her.

Seraph looked at her and said, "This is your first time here, and your surprise is quite natural. But you have a strange courage, which I really like."

Elena looked at her with a faint smile and said, "I… I don't know why, but I feel like I can trust you."

Seraph tried to hold her hand, but immediately retreated, as if this step was too soon.

"Not yet, Elena… time will come, everything will be revealed," he said slowly.

At night, as the two of them blended into the beauty of the forest, they suddenly heard a faint rustling and a flash of light from afar. It was a sign of danger—perhaps an enemy or an ancient magical creature was following them. Elena felt a little scared, but Seraph told her calmly, "Don't be afraid, I'm with you."

This moment established a special bond between the two. Elena still didn't know that Seraph was actually the Snake Prince, but she was drawn to the young man's personality, charm, and mystery.

In the morning, in the light of the forest, the two arrived at a beautiful, magical garden. The flowers here were of all colours and with all kinds of magical scents, and the winged magical birds were humming happily. Seraph said, "This garden is the safest and most magical part of this forest. The magic here will help you see and learn."

Elena stepped forward and smelled the flowers. She thought to herself that this world was truly magical, and perhaps without this young man's guidance, she would never have arrived here.

Seraph looked at her and said, "Tomorrow you will get to see some of the secrets of the forest. This world will fill you with wonder, but with every secret comes responsibility."

Elena nodded, silently thinking that perhaps this young man would be the one to guide her through this world, and perhaps that was why she had arrived here.

Thus, a new day began, where Elena and Seraph's relationship became closer, and magical scenes and mysterious dangers began to advance their story. But the most important thing was that Elena still did not know that this young prince Seraphion was actually a magical snake.
