"Do you know anything about these dungeons…?"
War thought about it for a second and then replied.
"I have a general knowledge about them. But not enough. You can explain everything if you don't mind."
Shiny just stared at him for a while wondering if he did know something that isn't about war and violence.
She then started explaining.
"Dungeons are structures that appeared cause of Demons. It isn't known how these structure were made or how they appeared all over the world. There are many theories ranging from demonic abilities or Mother of all demons herself messing with the world. But there is another theory that is accepted by all. Given by Atalus the Elf."
She paused for a moment and continued.
"Dungeons are living beings. More specifically, dungeons are huge demons that functions like a structure. How? Don't ask me. I've not read that deep about that theory of hers."
War seem to think of something weird. But then stops. Shiny can only imagine that he was just thinking about fighting that thing.
"West world is vast and I am sure that there are many Dungeons in this world that are not explored. You know that these dungeons have knowledge about the past Gods and even about Demons. There can be some legendary artefacts that can be found. Most of all, these dungeons do have a will of their own. But if somebody were to destroy the heart or whatever It is. A creature can conquer it for itself. It had been done before like the Great Pyramids of East world. Or Sky Crack of the North world. Those dungeons were conquered by humans and dragons respectively. If we conquer the dungeon of East world. You can imagine how advantageous it would for all of humanity."
Shiny goes silent for few minutes. Letting War digest all the information. After not getting any questions she continued.
"Listen. Between humanity and that dungeon. There is that demonoid. That moving world is terrifying and I don't to hear you arguing to me. Don't you dare fight it all alone. You will die."
She grow silent for a moment and speaks. This time War finally feels some threat from Shiny's presence.
"This is private information but I am sharing it with you. You know why? We have a deal."
Shiny stares at his face for few seconds and then he replied.
"Yeah, your revenge with the king of Goldengale. I remember that promise clearly."
Shiny studies his face for a full minute. Then the threatening aura disappears and she sighs.
"sure you do."
She sits down on a chair. Far away form War.
"I will let you know when the soldiers will be appointed for hunting that demonoid. We will be will be together a cohort. Some members are chosen but I am still trying few more. You also have to take permission from you dad or something. I also have to talk to him. He is the one who run this community as you know. Maybe we can get help form other human communities as well. Not from the non-human communities though. I can imagine how they wouldn't wanna share the information regarding that."
War interrupts her.
"Can't you talk with my old man? I really don't wanna…"
Shiny rolls her eyes.
"I know. I'll think about it… But I am warning you again that if you ran away the moment I leave. I am gonna kill you…"
After that Shiny starts talking about some political stuff. It is necessary for him to know all that cause of his status.
But it was boring so it was spacing out.
He do have to wonder what the future entrails for him. He needs to practice with his new weapon soon or he wouldn't be able to have all the fun.
Her lecture lasted for few hours. Shiny something starts talking and just never let the other person rest. He wouldn't say that it is a bad thing. He doesn't have to contribute much in the conversation so he is happy. Not like he ever can. He never pay attention to what is happening around him. Except if it is related to war or violence.
As War is listening and trying to understand what Shiny is talking about. The door of the room opens.
It was locked but it opened anyways. From outside a tiny figure entered the room.
It was a girl. A cute and elegant looking girl. From her height someone might mistake her for being a toddler but she's actually as old as War.
The sudden entrance of this unknown person kind of scared Shiny for a second. It is hard to sneak up on her but this little girl just did and even surprised her a little.
War just looks at shiny with a amused smile. It isn't every day that he get to see someone else scare Shiny. He does it a lot, not intentionally though.
The girl speaks. Ignoring the astonished Shiny.
"Eric Soulheart. I hope you are doing well…"
War's smile dim a little.
Shiny just looks at both of them and try to understand what is happening. Then it clicked to her.
"Oh. it is Rose Everlast.."
Shiny finally remembers who is the little girl. It is the girl who come form another human community that falls under the domain of Everlast family.
It always so unnatural to see someone form royal blood in an ordinary place like this. But then again, War is also someone who is from royal family. Even if he is not actual royalty from blood. He himself is a rare sight to behold.
Shiny always see him with her ability. So his existence doesn't affect her that much anymore.
"It is my pleasure to meet you too, Shining Reach. I am here to meet my future husband."
Shiny looks at her in confusion and wonders if all Royalties are weird as these two.
She leaves later. It is already hard enough dealing with one royalty.

Now that War and Rose is left all alone. There is an awkward silence between the two.
Rose stares at War and in return, War stares back at Rose.
If someone were to see these two right now. They would think that these are about to kill each other. There gazes are just so intense.
Rose breaks the awkward silence.
"So are you doing okay, Eric Soulheart?"
War just stares at her. A funny thought root itself into his mind but he rip it out before it can grow. He knows not everything can be solved with violence.
"I am doing fine. How about you, Miss Rose?"
She replies instant with a smile.
"If you are fine than I am fine too, Eric."
War smiles back but he is getting tired now of her antics. He doesn't wanna be impolite but also doesn't want to keep hearing that name. It is irritating to know that someone is calling him by that name.
He can just request her to not call his by that name. But does he really want to be bothered? It isn't like it is harming him in any manner. However, it is a type of psychological torture.
Even if it is a torture, he can find pleasure in it too. Shiny calls him a masochist and now he think about it. There is some truth to it.
While War is pondering about weird thoughts. Rose comes close to his bed and sits near him on the chair.
Then she says.
"It would be so easy if you just start loving me. My love is as much true as my Goal that is given to him. It is like fate. Don't you think?"
She is smiling. War wonders if she could be pretending or not. If she is pretending then she has War beat cause he cannot tell.
Rose's Goal to find her true love. And somehow that true love is War. He isn't sure if it is fate at work or not. But that soul of hers sure is odd.
War wants to help her too. But loving someone is difficult for him. He just wants to war. That is his only love for now.
What do people in love even do? War should really think about finding that out. Maybe he would find what's so fun about loving another person. But he is too excited about the future and all the violence that would happen.
He grins a little. Her Soul ability is really unique and it can really help him escape Shiny's ability. Maybe it is unfair but he wouldn't mind if she could help him a little.
Seeing War grin. Rose answers.
"I know what you want, Eric. But Shining Reach is right. You need to rest a little. But after that, I will help you. Is that okay?"
War doesn't know how did she read his mind. Her face stares at his own and he really has to admit it. She really is an eye candy. But it doesn't beat murdering Devil spawns. That is much more fun.
