"Who are you?" Charles asked his sword pointed at the throat of the person.
Charles looked at the person there and the amount of Chaos Energy rivalled a Wyvern. His Hyper Suit was torn to shreds. What was he? Another problem with his Chaos Energy was a midnight black like the sky of Chaos Realm. "Gabriel." Gabriel said.
"Are you an enemy?" Charles asked, looking at him.
"Yes, fight him." Asura said from his cheek appearing again. Wow he was trying to stir the pot. Gabriel slapped his cheek.
"Sorry about him." Gabriel told. He had his head bowed.
"It's fine." Charles spoke as he put out his hand. As Gabriel grabbed it and he was pulled up to his feet. "We have to find some food." Charles said with a soft smile.
"Why?" Gabriel asked, looking at Charles. Charles' eyebrow was raised.
"Because we need to eat." Charles said as if it was plain obvious. But Charles he was asking why are you being kind.
"Why are you being so kind?" Gabriel asked, looking at Charles as he grew a second head. His kindness is purely based on your strength. As well, he has a bad habit.
"Because I only survive because of dumb luck." Charles spoke. That his bad habit he down plays his abilities and high plays his opponents power. Gabriel looked at him with shock.
"Really you seem strong." Gabriel said with a smile.
"Really you flatter me." Charles said, matching his smile.
"You are strong, I will fight you again." Asura said as Gabriel slapped his cheek again. Charles started to walk off in the direction.
"Let go." Charles said, looking back at him. Gabriel follows close behind. I smell more blood. Hearing a massive roar. It was a massive white bear with long rock claws and spikes all over its body. The biggest spikes were on its back. It slammed its front paws into the ground. Several hunters were dead and at least twenty of them were injured.
"Let the hunt begin." Charles said, jumping down. Into the ravine with the bear Chaos Beast. As Charles and the bear were looking. "Gabriel, let 's make a deal. If you defeat this thing then I will heal everyone." Charles said with a smile on his face.
"Deal!" Gabriel said looks like he does care about others. He jumped down looking at the bear. He pulls out his katana. He blocks the strong claw attack. The ground beneath Gabriel shattered.
"Looks like he is in trouble." I said looking at Charles he was smiling. "Why are you smiling?" I looked at Charles, his grin was still there.
"Because in battle we evolve, grow past our limits or die trying." Charles smiled. Watching Gabriel dodge the attack. Landing a slash on the bear seemed to only annoy it. Letting out a bone chilling roar. It did not phase it at all. Charles flicked to the side pausing for a second then looking at the fight.
"What did you see?" I asked if my eyes were glued on the fight. Once again the bear did a downward strike crushing the ground below its palm.
"Nothing special." Charles said his eyes filled with rage. He was gripping his knee with force. To keep him calm. Why was he so mad? I question what is going on in his head. What could have made him mad.
"Damn this thing is tough." Gabriel said. Blocking a sideswipe with his katana. Then Gabriel jumped back to dodge its second paw. Looks like Gabriel was on the back foot.
"Starlight: Mass Heal." Charles said as his starlight shot off in small arrows healing everyone of the hunters even the gravely injured hunters.
"I am healed." The first one said, with a smile on his face he quickly stood up.
"So am I." Another hunter said. There were about a hundred hunters here.
"Chaos Flash." Gabriel said as he landed one on the bear arms. Three fingers were severed. The bear roared in rage.
"Looks like he landed a Chaos Flash." Charles smiled looking at him with a smile. Gabriel blocked the next strike from the bear. Gabriel seemed like he was moving faster and was wasting less of his Chaos Energy. The bear's muscle bulges and its eyes glow a crimson. It snarled, letting out steam. Even from here its breath smelled like rotten meat.
"Damn your breath stinks." Gabriel said jokingly. Dodging another slam attack from the bear. But the spike came flying through the air. Gabriel was hit by some of them.
"He should have not let his guard down." Charles said with a small frown. He lay on his hand shifting as I had to take to the air. Sitting next to him. Looks like he was not planning on helping. Does he really not care?
"Are you not going to help?" I asked. Charles looks at me. As if I was the crazy one.
"Really I use Charlotte today. Used my Starlight to heal the other hunters. I have my Chaos Energy but that is not much." Charles said it makes sense why he would want Gabriel to fight the Chaos Beast because he saves it if he has to flee.
"That makes sense." I said I hate to emit it but Charles does have a point.
"Chaos Flash." Gaberial said as space warped around the blow black lightning shot out. Causing a deep slash on Chaos Beast. "Man, I am worn out." He said. As Charles got up. He slowly pulls out Renfeild it silver blade seemed to glow. Charles' steps were slow and careful.
"You know what, I changed my mind." Charles said with a small smile.
"What?" Gabriel asked.
"Phantasm." Charles said as he disappeared. The bear's head fell to the ground. The corpse fell to the ground like a tree. With a huge thump. Charles was standing on it back looking down on the other his blue eyes looked down on the Hunters. "If you want to live then you will help me take this somewhere. But first." Charles said he walks to the wall.
"Wait? Is that-" Gabriel said looking at the corpse of a small cub bear Chaos Beast.
"Life is a cruel and unfair little one. You must have mistaken this chaos beast as your mother." Charles said his eye seemed to shut for a second as Charles got on one knee. "I am sorry." Charles said he looks to the ground and picks something up before stuffing it in his pocket. Charles' mood was soured.
