Chapter 25 - Catastrophe of questions.

"Tempest in the left hand and storm in the right. The way of the wind will open up… where the straight and the curved meet."

Just as Dokja executes the skill… nothing happens. Lycaon was left standing speechless, seeing him.

"Master. I don't think… you have what it takes to learn the way of the wind…

If I have to be honest, I don't think you can learn any skill with your talent."

As Dokja was standing in front of Lycaon, also speechless. Han Sooyoung is laughing like she will die from laughter.

Dokja has been at it for two days already, but he still hasn't managed to learn the skill. He got a bit overconfident, since Joonghyuk learned it in only five minutes, but he forgot that the thing called talent exists.

Even Han Sooyoung was making fun of him saying this and that. While talking with Lycaon, Dokja asked him to explain the skill in a better way, since he thought that the whole sentence is just a metaphor of sorts.

But to Lycaon, that was the entire thing, and he couldn't put it in a better way.

"Well, how about you try this?

One wind meets the other to form taegeuk, and again, the wind meets the other to form yin and yang."

Lycaon was surprised by how Dokja had thought of it, and after trying it just once, he actually managed to complete the technique. Which surprised Dokja himself, more than Lycaon.

"W-Wait, how about this?!

The four winds meet to form a fortification, and again, the four winds meet to form a trigram, making it so that the wind is everywhere and nowhere.

How about this, you can't do it, can you? That's just how I feel."

Hearing it, Lycaon was left speechless from sheer awe. As he bent down to show respect and immediately started meditating the next moment.

[Tier five humanoid demon, Lycaon, the prince of imyuntar has had an Epiphany.]

[You have guided Lycaon, the prince of imyuntar to a new plane of enlightenment.]

[A few constellations from the perished world, Chronos, express their gratitude for you.]

[You have been given 2,000 coins.]

[Constellation Prisoner of the golden headband is amazed by how pathetic you are.]

[Constellation Secretive plotter is disappointed with your carelessness.]

After that, Han Sooyoung comes up to Dokja and starts questioning what they are supposed to do. Since he couldn't learn it.

Which is why she asks if she can learn it, but in his opinion, only those with protection symbols can learn it from Lycaon, and it can't be transferred either.

Since it didn't work out either, she says that it was better if he left it to Joonghyuk, but according to him, it won't work either, because he doesn't listen to anyone.

"Hey. How about you try this instead?"

Ken had been lying on the ground not long ago, and even as they were speaking, he was trying to mess around with Lycaon, who was meditating at that moment. But since he came up, it meant he had something up his sleeve.

"I got an idea. So, we have mana, right? Then how do skills activate? By using mana. Then how does one use the way of the wind?

So, they use mana to move the air. You can think of it as manipulating the air. Then what are these weird sentences?

You can think of them as techniques to use when moving the air.

So, tempest in the left hand would mean some kind of violent and strong wind, and storm in the right hand would mean strong, yet relatively weaker and steadier wind.

The way of wind will open up… it must mean something like the first stage of sorts. When the straight and curved meet.

It is when the tempest is pushed forward and the strength of it is controlled and amplified with the storm… and like this. Boom."

And just with that, a large gush of wind blew away a decently large area in a straight path.

Seeing it, both Dokja and Sooyoung became extremely confused and speechless. Realizing that he just blew his cover, Ken slowly moved his head towards the direction of Dokja and Sooyoung.

In reality, Ken had already learned the way of the wind a day ago. Since, even if Dokja found it extremely hard, he found it pretty simple. And when he tried it, he kind of just… learned it. Since he didn't know how Lycaon would react, he hid it till now.

But just now, he just blew his cover trying to explain them in a more simpler way.

Dokja walked towards Ken and put his hand on Ken's shoulder. Just when he was about to ask something, obviously about the skill. Someone started shouting about someone being severely injured.

Which is why they had to put it off and dash towards the direction. And when they reached the place, they literally met the person both Han Sooyoung and Kim Dokja were talking about not long ago.

"Joonghyuk?" Han Sooyoung asked, even though she could clearly see him lying unconscious.

All three of them wanted to save him, as he is the main character of TWSA, and just simply important. But all of them remembered something.

They won't get away. Since all three of them hurt Joonghyuk in one way or another, he is not the type to not get his revenge… which is just always brutal.

Even if they tried to lock him up or something, it wouldn't work, and if the lock is inescapable, he would simply suicide and regress. Which is the main problem.

As they were thinking what to do, Joonghyuk suddenly woke up, glaring at them, even while lying down. Which made them immediately back away by a few meters.

He started to mumble something, it was almost like he wanted to say something to Dokja. Ken, knowing Dokja, knew that this guy could just use stage two of omniscient reader's viewpoint in order to read Joonghyuk's thoughts.

After a while, Dokja bought multiple things from the dokkaebi shop and started to brew something. Possibly an antidote, which made it seem like Joonghyuk was poisoned. Ken didn't know better, since Dokja always has a reason to do anything he does.

After standing there for a while, not having anything to do. Ken started loitering around the place. As Dokja got up with Joonghyuk on his back. All he said was that they had to head towards the east. The east of Seoul.

When Ken asked why they had to go there right now, Dokja simply answered. "The catastrophe of questions is going to be awoken soon."

Hearing it, Ken got a heavy shiver running down his entire spine. As he remembered something. A plan he had made while making his ORV fanfic, which he is in right now.

The condition to level up regeneration to level five is that he has to suffer an injury, so heavy that he will nearly die. Not that he will just nearly die. But if he can't keep himself awake after that injury, he will basically die.

The Ken in his fanfic was supposed to do that, but it was fiction then, not now. Right now, he is in the shoe. He doesn't know how hard it will be, all he knows is that his real self won't allow him to die.

And the worst thing is that the time is already near. The one that was supposed to put him on death bed is none other than. 'The catastrophe of questions…'
