Originally, Dokja's plan was that both he and Ken will distract everyone and Han Sooyoung will steal the meteor. Joonghyuk was out of the plan because he wasn't in the condition to do it.
But after Sangah joined the group, his plan changed. The new plan being that Ken, Sangah and Sooyoung will kill all the members of the enemy group and stop them from interfering with Dokja, while he will face the leader.
Just as they started executing the plan, all three Sangah, Sooyoung and Ken had to literally jump from an upper floor of the building they were in.
As the enemies started attacking them, they started to kill the enemies in their own ways. Sangah, just like before, would cut enemies into pieces with the golden thread and sometimes fight using the daggers.
While Han Sooyoung would use her avatars and launch an assault on the enemies. Everyone had their own style.
But the thing bothering Ken was the fact that those two were arguing even in the middle of the fight.
He wasn't particularly having much trouble. He was always a direct close range fighter, and has always fought like that. So, multiple enemies rushing in at once is not that hard for him at all.
And even more so, his increased stats, stronger skills and more battle experience also naturally made the fight easier.
While fighting, he suddenly took out some blue pills from his pockets. These were called ice pills that he got during the fourth scenario when he was going around taking over stations.
He once fought a group of renouncers who had these. And surprisingly, it gave them the ability to use ice type attacks, more like their attack was imbued with ice property. Meaning that it could give him the ether affix of ice.
The Holy ether affix was good, he could keep on using it using the item called echoing ether affix… 'I really am bad at naming things.' He was embarrassed seeing the name, since he knew that multiple readers were reading it, and this item's name is just too embarrassing.
But he specifically didn't like the holy property, since it could only help with fighting demonoid enemies. But if he gets the ice, then he can use it in any situation.
He had ten of those pills, as he gulps all of them down in one go. He felt a chill throughout his body. The pills were colder than ice, and now he felt like there was ice in his stomach.
[You are exuding ice energy.]
[You gain an additional 400% ice property damage.]
[A heart-stopping chill is overcoming your body.]
[You have temporarily gained the ice ether affix.]
It should have been something to be happy about, only if Ken's body was not breaking down. He immediately got hypothermia and it kept on increasing as it started to literally make cracks on his skin.
But at the same time, all the damages in his body were getting repaired using his regeneration in no time. It was painful, way too painful, most of all. "I-It's c-cold." It was way too cold.
There was another way he was keeping his body from completely being consumed by cold, and that is to make his blood flow extremely fast. It was fast enough to burst his blood vessels. But even they were getting regenerated, so it was not a problem.
Ken had done it before, and it made his entire body extremely hot. Which was a good idea that he didn't expect to come in clutch.
Even though he is able to endure this pain despite the curse of Asmodeus, he is able to endure it to this extent because of adrenaline rush and other pain suppressing hormones. The good thing about regeneration being, it also regenerated the hormones back, which is why he could keep on using them.
Ken shouted at both Han Sooyoung and Yoo Sangah to get away from this place. They become confused at first, but quickly get away seeing his body, which was slowly being covered in ice.
As he stabbed his sword on the ground and used the ether affix, the entire area, including many of the people attacking them, were frozen in ice. Which even killed a lot of people.
As all three of them quickly killed the remaining enemies, they started to head towards where Dokja was. And while on the way, Ken was still shivering heavily from the ice energy exuding his body.
But it had gotten much better and easier to endure than before, since resisting this intense ice energy gave him something he didn't quite expect.

Ken had gotten a lot more coins than he expected from killing all those people, and he also already had gained plenty of coins from the coin event, but this one was on a whole another level.
But the best thing right now was that he got ice resistance, which was crucial if didn't want to burn out all of his mana and die of cold right now.
When they finally got to Dokja, they found a white haired woman gasping for breath in front of Dokja. Ken knew who it was, she was Lee Seolhwa, a minor character in ORV. Although a member of the Kim Dokja Company and the lover of Joonghyuk, even appearing in many important arcs later on, she has little to no screen time.
But the bigger problem was the humanoid looking insect that was flying. It had nearly no physical form, almost like made up of grains of sand.
Just as Dokja warns everyone to get away from it, as it might infect them. It did just that, at first, it was about to attack Dokja. But after seeing the weak state of Ken, for some reason it attacked him.
It turned into an almost liquid type state and entered Ken's body, forcing into his mouth. It was honestly extremely embarrassing and shit assed feeling for Ken.
As the monster tried to take control, it started to get pushed out of the body before Ken threw it out. "Cough! Cough! What the fuck! Why did you have to do that?!"
Even the monster was confused as to how Ken could throw her out. But before it could do anything else, Lycaon finally appeared.
They started arguing about something, then immediately started fighting at an insane speed shortly after. But Ken couldn't properly see it because his vision was hazy.
If it was not for him quickly using body control to force her out of his body, his control really might have been taken over.
When Ken finally stabilized himself, he saw that the monster, whose name was Antinus, flew to the meteor at an extremely fast speed.
Dokja, Lycaon, and even Ken, who didn't want it to awaken, ran towards her to stop her, but she had already reached the meteor. Just as she touched the meteor, Dokja immediately beheaded her.
Just as they felt a bit relieved that they had stopped her, the meteor suddenly exploded with a blinding light. Throwing and injuring everyone close to it away.
As Ken moved his bloodied hair from in front of his eyes, as he looked to the place where the meteor should be, he found what he didn't want to face yet.
