As Kim Dokja, Han Sooyoung and Ken were running towards the direction where the catastrophe of questions is supposed to be, Ken asked.
"Dokja."
"Yes?"
"Do you remember how you asked me if I ever saw a middle aged man in a red robe? Who seemed like he is good with words."
"Ah, right. Yes, I asked you if you ever saw the neutral king. He looks just as I described."
Ken stayed quiet for a while before answering. "I think I met someone like that when I went to Yongsan station."
"So, what happened there?"
Ken started contemplating something, as if thinking on what he should answer.
"Well, you see, when I was doing the king's path scenario, I was going around taking over stations, and in that, I would also kill the leaders and the ones who would try to attack me.
And Yongsan is the last station I had taken over before taking the title of the merciless king. So, you understand what happened, right?"
"... Uhm, yes, I do."
After that, the entire way to the east of Seoul, Ken didn't really get to talk to Dokja, as he could kind of guess that Dokja was using midday tryst in order to speak with Joonghyuk in a chat, since Joonghyuk keeps on reacting to Dokja, and Dokja is more distracted than he should.
So, since he had nothing to do, he did another thing he was good at. Annoying the hell out of Han Sooyoung with his questions.
When they arrived, they could see the entire area was covered in giant vines that literally had eyes in it, and a giant flower on top of a building with a big eye, which was the source of all this. And it was not just one, but multiple of them.
"Don't provoke them, they won't attack you as long as you don't provoke them." Dokja warned both Han Sooyoung and Ken.
According to him, chronos had started terraforming in this world. The fifth scenario is a battle between worlds, different countries are going to fight different worlds, and the world Korea is going to fight is chronos.
Apparently the reason for the terraforming's speed increasing is because the catastrophe is beginning to awaken.
And even now, Han Sooyoung was arguing with Dokja. As she was wondering which crazy person is awakening the catastrophe faster. Which is why Dokja had to remind her that she did the same. And the only reason he could defeat that one is because it was awoken too soon and the dokkaebi penalized it for that. Even then, it wasn't easy.
And the penalties won't work on the catastrophe of questions, and the dokkaebis might not help them this time.
As they kept moving, they could also see multiple monsters dead on the way. But the worst thing they saw was a literal wyrm like thing with other monsters coming out of the literal sky.
Dokja explained the plan, which was to literally just him and Ken keeping the enemies at bay, while Han Sooyoung steals the meteorite. That's it.
Just as they travelled a small distance, multiple people came running for their life, while some people were shooting arrows at them. When observed even a bit, one could easily tell that the arrows had poison in it.
As another barrage of arrows came towards them, a golden net covered the entire area, somehow deflecting the arrows. Since the arrows didn't work, the enemies rushed forward, but the same golden thread cut many of their legs off.
When the person responsible for that came out, just as Ken had expected. It was Yoo Sangah. She somehow literally jumped multiple times in the air and covered many of the enemies with the golden thread, before cutting them to pieces.
As more people came rushing at her to kill her, she fought them off with a set of daggers, which could be nearly called a short sword.
As Dokja called her out, she finally noticed him. Even though she was confused, she still followed him the direction Dokja and the others were running to.
All of them rushed into a building, finally catching their breath. As Dokja and Sangah tried to talk to each other, the best they could say was to ask if they were alright.
They were just awkward after meeting each other after a few days. But the one most awkward was actually Ken, because unlike the other four, who are closely acquainted with each other, he was only kind of close to Dokja and Sooyoung.
And about Sangah and Joonghyuk… he is not all that sure. All the time he met Sangah, it was for a brief moment twice, and both impressions are not that good in his opinion. The worst being Joonghyuk, as even though he gave Ken the head of Han Sooyoung's avatar a few days ago, Ken still bit the shit out of Joonghyuk for a few seconds during the final king's qualification.
And he is pretty sure that Joonghyuk is going to go after Ken's life, since even a single punch from Dokja was enough to make Joonghyuk vengeful against Dokja. And not to forget the combo Ken had hit Joonghyuk with.
Apparently, when Sangah got teleported after the fourth scenario, she was teleported with Gong Pildu at Gangdong-gu, and they got separated during a fight with the Gangdong-gu group. In which, Pildu lured them to the Han river, as he was trying to save her.
Which surprised Dokja quite a bit, since he didn't expect something like that from Pildu of all people.
What surprised Dokja even more was how she got the equipment she has. In which, she apparently met a green meteor after they got separated, which is where she got the equipment from.
As Sooyoung questions about the extremely fast growth of Sangah, they quickly get into a fight as Sooyoung reveals that she was the first disciple, as well as the leader of those who launched an attack at Chungmuro.
But Dokja quickly broke the fight off. Even then, Han Sooyoung was provoking Sangah by asking how she got this strong, as even a narrative grade constellation can't help her get this strong this fast.
Just as Dokja was about to ask her something, they suddenly heard something. It was a new dokkaebi they hadn't seen, who was speaking.
