[You have slain a goblin]
[You received a green mana core]
Hector let out a breath before summoning the system screen.

Then he turned his attention to Luna, who had also killed a goblin. He rubbed his chin, assessing Luna's fighting capability.
It was quite good, though her movements had some unnecessary steps. Still, it was none of his business. He wasn't a teacher, and she would become stronger in the future no matter what—probably even stronger than him.
Because it was her fate… the fate of the main villain. He was just lucky enough to witness her initial growth.
"Am I doing something wrong?" Luna scowled when she noticed Hector observing her movements. It was irritating.
Just like a teacher assessing his student.
Hector slightly shook his head.
"Nothing."
"Then don't look at me like that, you pervert!" Luna grumbled.
Hector merely smirked and shrugged, ignoring Luna's childish act. He stepped forward, carefully checking the terrain.
Then he glanced at Luna again.
It had already been three hours since they arrived in this green dungeon. He had slain quite a lot of goblins, but at this rate, he would waste many days just to reach his initial goal.
On top of that, Luna still showed no sign of using her blessing. It seemed the goblin pack wasn't threatening enough for her.
He stayed silent for a moment before asking,
"Princess Luna… do you have a blessing?"
Luna narrowed her eyes and tilted her head, but she didn't answer.
Well, Hector was clever enough to notice her hesitation.
He added, "What kind of blessing do you have?"
Finally, Luna spoke up, her voice alert.
"Why must I answer your question? Revealing a blessing is the same as showing your weakness."
Hector nodded in amusement. Of course, he understood what she meant. Thanks to his knowledge of blessings from the novel, he had already defeated her elder brother.
"Guess you're smart enough to read me, Princess."
"Because if you don't use your blessing in a few minutes anymore, your death will be certain."
Hector chuckled and lightly bit his thumb, letting a drop of blood fall to the ground.
"What the hell are you doing?" Luna stepped back. She felt uneasy watching Hector's strange action.
Hector clicked his tongue and said,
"You'll know soon enough."
Without hesitation, he activated [Shadow Footstep] and vanished from the area, leaving Luna frozen and confused.
However, just a few minutes later, her face quickly drained of color when she saw a horde of orcs rushing toward her.
"His blood can draw monsters' attention?"
She frowned, recalling Hector's weird action.
Sigh.
Yes, Hector had used his curse—[Blood of the Predator].
"Now she must use all her strength if she wants to survive against a ferocious horde of orcs."
Hector smirked as he stood on a nearby rock.
But a few minutes later, his expression turned tired.
"Come on, Princess. Would you really rather die than summon that immortal monster?"
As time passed, Hector lost hope in Luna. He could tell her situation was something special—something he would never understand if he didn't ask her directly.
"Let's handle this quickly."
Hector used [Shadow Footstep] again to reappear on the battlefield and began his slaughter. For sure, if he hadn't done this, Luna might have been killed by the horde of orcs. As time passed, the monsters only grew in number and their assault became more intense.
[You have slain an orc]
[You received three green mana cores]
"Orcs really have many mana cores, huh" Hector clicked his tongue as he swung a quick slash, cutting an orc's head off.
The next moment, he delivered a downward slash, splitting another orc in half.
Green orc blood splashed across his face, sending a foul stench straight into his nose. But he had his way of dealing with it.
By covering his skin with mana and combining it with lightning-fast movement, he heated the stained blood until it evaporated into the air.
[You have slain an orc]
[You received three green mana cores]
"Tch." Hector clicked his tongue in annoyance when he spotted an arrow flying toward him. Thanks to [Eyes of the Predator], he had sensed it from far away.
That blessing was really convenient.
He grabbed an orc and used it as a shield, blocking the arrow before resuming his deadly dance, clearing through the horde.
None of them could even injure him. In fact, Hector didn't bother deflecting or blocking the monsters' attacks at all—he could kill them easily without wasting much effort.
"I wonder if orcs are just too weak… or if I'm too strong?"
He didn't know, but the results of his training with his father had clearly affected him… a lot.
Just around thirty minutes later.
Hector was finally done with his business without showing any tiredness at all. Well, actually, he had killed each of the orcs with just one blow each.
It was the best way to save his energy, since he still had a lot of important things to do in this dungeon.
"Let's see my harvest."
He summoned the system screen, thrilled.

"It's quite good, since an orc drops three mana cores… At this rate, I'll reach three mana cores sooner or later today."
Then he glanced at Luna, who was kneeling there, gasping for breath after being ground down by the horde of monsters.
He smirked.
''Aren't you crying, sheltered princess?
