Chapter 22: meeting someone familiar
Morning hit... Like home.. but them I had to get a reality check and realise that I'm not home anymore... But it kinda felt like home... Aries yelled from downstairs for breakfast, Mom was flipping pancakes and frying eggs while looking at work e-mails on her phone...
After breakfast we went to our new school... Mom always said: new city, new school means we can start fresh, have a clear page and get new friends...
I got to school and a school guide showed us around, showed us our lockers, classrooms and everything we had to know...
Then fist period started... I just sat at the back in an empty seat... As time passed I met all my new classmates, every teacher wanted an intruduction from me and to be honest I was bored out of my mind cuz we already learned in my old school what they are learning
In lunch break I saw Aries with a group of guys
Jay: as I see he already found new friends
I muttered to myself
Then I accedantly bump into someone
Guy: excuse me... My apologies... Wait... Jay-Jay?
Jay: sorry.. how do you know my name?
Guy: Mr. Daniels.. first period English... Right?
Jay: how?
Guy: Marcus... Sat a row behind you and that best friend of yours... Maya I think...
Jay: you were the guy who got trasferred mid semester for the English program?
Marcus: yep
Jay: then why didn't you talk to me in school... I mean... I don't bite
Marcus:-chuckling- Watson would have killed me if I have talked to you...
Jay: why? I mean I wasn't even together with him when you were in our class
Marcus: oh that guy was posessive over you way before you think... By the way what do you mean by "wasn't even together with him"? You two got together?
Jay: just before I got trasferred...
Marcus: now I wanna hear the story of you two... I never tought that sweared enemies could be in love
Jay: I learned it the hard way...
Marcus: you know what? Come have lunch.. my treat...
My eyes lit up.. cuz to be honest... I was hungry
Jay: okay...
We went to the cafeteria to get our food and then found a random spot to sit... We found a bench under a tree...
Marcus: sooo let me hear the story...
Jay: okay okay... So Keifer... The maniac he is... Got suspended for at this point... I dont know what reason..bthen the principle said that he "has redeemed himself"
Marcus: you are joking...
Jay: nope... So we annoyed each other for the whole day... Then the next day... After class he just drops a "nuce socks Mariano" line
Marcus: mismatched socks?
Jay: yea... Then the day after that? No word just sat at out table at lunch... The the guy started leaving love notes.... Then...
Marcus: what did he do?
Jay: he wrote a letter to Aries...
Marcus: your brother Aries??
Jay: yes... And the letter basicly said "I want to date your sister brother-in-law"
Marcus: he did not...
Jay: he did... He called Aries his "brother-in-law"
Marcus: okay.. we are out of time, but you better finish the story tomorrow...
Jay: okay...
We said our goodbye's and went back to class...
After classes I went home with my horoscope brother and just went to my room, changes into comfy clothes, pulled the blanked over my head, checked my phone for messages. It was just Maya asking about everything... I decided to reply later and just slept
