Chapter 28: time flies
So. This is going to be a time skip, so let's just see what halpened to our dear Jay and Keifer in the rest of highschool and collage
Jay:
For a long time, the pain of her first love didn't fade. She missed him, missed her old self. She felt like she left her heard back in her old school.
She made new friends, got a distraction, Marcus was still one of her bestest friends. She still called Maya sometimes and they were always laughing on something. Then highschool ended... And came collage and adulthood.
Collage came with new things... New people, new classmates, new professiors, more assignments, new drama, more tests, harder finals, more numbers and the buisness guys thinking a girl can't be successful in the buisness industry...
Than came people from other majors
thinking they owned the library... Of course, the law students took over most of the library, art students were always in the art room, music majors-mostly people playing on piano, flute, drums, violin, bass, guitar ect...-
were hanging out or playing on their instruments in the music room... So no spot for studying
She took buisness in collage and moved to New York so she can take over Mariano Enterprises. Her father asked her to do so after meeting her. She and her father lived together in her collage years and then Jay moved out after collage and started training to be the CEO of Mariano Enterprises.
Keifer:
After the kiss and giving Jay up officially, he didn't dare to text her. The guilt was eating him alive. Jay... The girl he would burn down the world for... He left her in that hosoital bed... Didn't stay...
For a week he didn't talk to anyone... With time he studied again, spoke with his friends and talked to Maya when she had info about Jay... Anything... A new inside joke, a new friend, a new classmate or anything.... He still hoped... That she didn't give up... But there was a fear in him that she wasn't waiting for him anymore... That she koved on, has a new boyfriend who she can love like she did with him.
Then after highschool came collage and adulthood slapped Keifer across the face... Watson Enterprise was waiting for him. Big glass doors, clients, projects, problems, issues.... He knew he had to bear this...
In collage Keifer took buisness so he can take over Watson Enterprise. He studied a lot... He got a few new collage buddies amd a LOT of girls drooling over him...
And there were the "mean girls"... Approaching him every time they can, constant flirting, arm touching that Keifer felt digusted from... He still tought about what would have happened if he didn't leave, if he wasn't a coward, if they talked... If they let each other have a second chance, an explanation and a clear page to start writing their story to
