Chapter 20: goodbye's never said
Jay's POV
My morning alarm went off... Like always.... But today was different... We are moving after school... I have to talk to Keifer... I must... I am already spiraling in the morning..
I got up, freshened up changed into my uniform and went downstairs for breakfast. Mom was sitting, drinking her coffee. Aries was eating his breakfast...
Aries: today you actually woke up... Miracle
Mom: Are you two exited about moving?
Jay: yeah...
I said, sarcasm dripping from my voice
Mom: Jay.. please don't make it harder for yourself
Aries: it won't be bad... I mean... New friends, fresh start and a good job for Mom
I just quietly went to school. Maya was waiting for me with two coffee's in her hands. As always..
Maya: morning tornado girl
Jay: morning coffee fairy
I said as I took a coffee from her hand
Maya: exited about the moving?
Jay: yeah.. sure... My boyfriend thinks I am cheating with his best friend and I'm moving to the other half of the country... I'm really happy
Maya: come on don't be so judging... Let's go to class.
We walked to class and sat on our seats...
No gifts from Keifer today...
The teacher was taking attendance

Yuri said... Why? Keifer why?
Sir: okay... Watson absent...

Sir: great... Now let's start
And he started teaching... I was zoneing out completely
Class ended and I went up to Yuri
Jay: Yuri can I talk to you?
Yure: yes, of course Jay.
Jay: what happened to Keifer?
Yuri: he got sick (Yuri lied)
Jay: truth?
Yuri: no... He just didn't know how to process the rumours and tought he skips a day and will talk to you tomorrow
Jay: noooo
Yuri: what happened?
Jay: we are moving this afternoon...
Yuri: oh f*ck
Jay: okay.. then I'll just text him...
Yuri: okay
The rest of the day blurred. Classes, trying to reach Keifer on his phone, worst case scenes replaying in my head and Maya trying to calm me down
I couldn't reach Keifer and as I went home Mom and Aries were already in the can waiting for me... Good thing we said our goodbye's with Maya...
Then we moved... Far from my so called home... An empty house.. my room had a bed, a desk and a wardrobe... It was a little bigger than my old bedroom...
I didn't have any energy left so I just changed inti comfy clothes and slept
