The next morning.
Negut slowly woke up, feeling a bit strange.
Even though Lilith had milked him three times yesterday, this morning he instead felt completely clear-headed and at ease. His stamina was full, with no sign of fatigue or discomfort at all.
On top of that, the sensation in his prosthetic leg was much clearer now. It no longer felt like just an ordinary lump of material.
He tried lifting his leg and found that the prosthetic was indeed moving much better. He could even wiggle the toes.
"If things keep going like this, in three days I might really be able to walk normally and take part in the 'Newbie Challenge'."
Negut muttered to himself.
Suddenly, he remembered something, hurriedly looked around, and said anxiously, "The black card… my black card… Ah!"
It was not hard for Negut to find a black card placed on the nightstand by the bed, with a small red sticky note on top of it: [000000]
The moment he saw it, Negut knew the password was six zeros.
Delighted, he took out his phone and began linking the card to his bank account. A short while later, when he saw 1 million Energy Points displayed in his account, his face flushed with joy.
"Ah! I forgot to check my status screen." Negut slapped his forehead and muttered.
Ever since receiving the two Graces of the God, he had run into all sorts of trouble and had almost forgotten they existed.
"System, show my personal status."
Right away, a personal status window appeared in front of Negut.

…
Negut glanced over the status window and immediately noticed something had changed.
At first, the skill [Summon Slime] had a limit of 10 Slimes that could be summoned and a cooldown of 1 hour. But now, he could summon Slimes without limit, and there was no cooldown at all.
On top of that, both of his skills could be leveled up.
"Wait!" Negut also noticed something else and frowned as he looked at his own attributes. "Before, my Physique was only (4) and my Spirit was (7). Why has each stat increased by 1 point? Is it because of the treatment?"
He thought back to the treatment from the female doctors and felt that his guess was correct.
Thanks to the medicines and the prosthetic leg, his Physique and Spirit had both risen a little.
Negut took a deep breath, feeling that perhaps an F-rank Class was not total trash after all.
As long as he had enough Energy Points, he could level up his skills.
"I wonder how strong these two skills will become after leveling up." Negut muttered. "Now that I have 1 million Energy Points in hand, then…"
Negut immediately started experimenting, raising both his skills and his own level.
[3,000 Energy Points deducted successfully. Current Energy Points: 997,000.]

…
Negut took a deep breath, his gaze falling on the skill [Summon Slime] as he muttered in doubt, "Slimes are the weakest creatures. Humans believe they can only reach Rank F at most, but who would have thought there are Slimes that can reach higher ranks?"
In Negut's memories, back when he had studied at the academy, he had learned countless things about Aberrants and Awakened, and knew very well that Slimes were low-level Aberrants, pitifully weak.
They were also the first Aberrants ever captured by humans to be kept as pets, turning them into creatures even weaker than dogs.
That was also why they had been categorized as Rank F - 99, so weak they could not be any weaker.
Aside from self-destructing so their slime could burn the enemy, they had no other skills at all.
Their slime was not even that terrifying. It was roughly equivalent to hot water at 60 to 80 degrees.
But after spewing out their slime, they themselves would become much weaker. At most, they could only attack 2 to 4 times before dying and turning into a puddle of water.
"If it is a Rank D or Rank C Slime, or even higher, then what?" Negut felt incredibly curious, but right now, he could not summon any Slimes.
Inside a Safe Zone, no one was allowed to use skills. Otherwise, the Protective Dome would activate its warning system, and then the Awakened Management Bureau would come and drag you away.
Forcing himself to suppress his curiosity, Negut continued to level up.
Riding the wave of excitement, he raised his Level up to Level 5 before stopping. Since he was only an F-rank Awakened, the Energy Points required to level up were not very high.
From Level 0 to Level 5, it only cost 15,000 Energy Points.
The same went for his two skills. He raised both of them to Level 5, and each skill consumed 15,000 Points.
He had spent a total of 45,000 Energy Points, but he still had plenty left, as his remaining Energy Points were 955,000.
Why did he stop at Level 5? Because to continue leveling up, he first had to clear the Newbie Challenge and obtain the qualification to become a true Awakened before he could keep leveling.
On top of that, every time he leveled up by another 5 Levels, he would be forced to stop and head to the Multidimensional Gate area to undergo the Government's test.
If he passed that test, he would obtain the authority to keep leveling. If not, he would have to wait another month.

…
Seeing the notification window in front of him, Negut felt a rush of excitement. He wanted nothing more than to enter the Newbie Challenge immediately and test out his skills.
Negut began thinking about how to distribute his Attribute Points. He really wanted to put all of them into [Spirit], but when he remembered how Lilith drained him dry every night, he was tempted to invest a few points into [Physique].
"Ah! Which Attribute should I put them into?"
"It is best to invest all of them into [Spirit]."
A voice echoed by his ear, making Negut jump. He turned his head and immediately saw Naomi's face right next to his, her alluring scent rushing into his nose and making him feel a little dazed.
"You…"
Even though Naomi was still wearing her medical mask, just looking at her eyes was enough to tell how beautiful she was.
Naomi smiled and said, "Although your body is very weak, thanks to Lilith's blood, your physical condition will improve quickly. That is why you can safely invest all of your Attribute Points into [Spirit]. That is the best choice."
"Ah!" Negut gave a slight nod at her words, but then he suddenly realized something and frowned as he asked, "How do you know I drank Lilith's blood?"
