Elena's face burned, the heat crawling all the way to her ears. Being kissed in front of her own employees was one thing, but being caught off guard like that was another. She drew a slow breath, straightened her back, and forced her expression into calm composure.
It was just a kiss, she told herself. Just a kiss. There was no reason to panic.
Jin Di watched her silently, a faint curve at his lips as her emotions flickered across her face one after another before settling back into cool control.
"What are your plans today?" he asked casually. "Anything after Zumba?"
She tilted her head slightly. "No. I was supposed to work today, but my manager pushed everything to tomorrow."
"Good."
She glanced at him. "What about you?"
"I'm busy today," he said lightly. "I'm taking my girlfriend out."
Girlfriend.
The word detonated in her head.
