"By the way, Shiny Radiance—are you on a team right now?" Suluo asked, grilling meat as if the question were casual.

As if she hadn't expected him to ask that, Shiny Radiance panicked a little.
"Ahaha… I haven't joined a team yet…"
"Or rather… a normal, ordinary horse-girl like me not getting picked by a trainer is pretty normal, isn't it?"

"I have no objections," Kitahara said with a shrug, indicating he didn't mind.

"M-Me?" Shiny Radiance looked stunned. She truly hadn't expected that the first time anyone invited her to join a team would be inside a yakiniku restaurant.

Seeing her agree so decisively, Suluo broke into an equally bright smile.
"Great. Later, just go to Kitahara and fill out the registration form—welcome to the team!"

After confirming Shiny Radiance had joined, the three of them happily continued eating yakiniku.
During this celebration dinner, Suluo realized his "raise-a-pig at Tracen" plan might have been a bit reckless.
Shiny Radiance's appetite was normal. For a horse-girl, she ate a little more than Suluo and Kitahara, but only by a limited amount.
But Oguri Cap was completely different.
Her mouth practically never stopped. In the second half of the dinner, Suluo's hands actually got sore from grilling meat for her nonstop.

Oguri Cap didn't press him further.
"By the way, Mr. Suluo," Kitahara suddenly spoke up.
"What is it?"
"Now that you've seen Oguri's ability today, I think her strength is already more than enough for a debut race. I want Oguri to debut next month—what do you think?"
A debut…?
Thinking it over, it probably was time to let Oguri Cap debut.
With Oguri Cap's ability, debuting shouldn't be a problem. She'd most likely win…
A debut race did have prize money, but it wasn't that much—still within an acceptable range…
As long as Oguri Cap didn't enter those major, high-stakes prize races, everything would remain under control.
