"Aww, perfect timing." Suluo beamed. "I just opened a store and I'm short on staff. If you really want to apologize, then come work as my employee for one week."

He was holding several sets of employee uniforms, smiling sweetly.
"A foot-spa place…" Noren Ace hesitated, then warned him. "Let's be clear—I'm not doing any weird services."

"I understand now," Rudi LeMo said solemnly, quietly accepting the uniform. "This job was made for me."
"Don't spare me," Mini Lady said, snapping to attention.
"…You two…" Noren Ace's mouth twitched as she watched her friends flip sides instantly.
"Noren, it can't be helped!" Rudi LeMo said seriously. "That's sixty thousand yen for a week! Normal part-time jobs can't pay that much!"
"Exactly!" Mini Lady nodded. "A rare chance like this—some big s—ahem, I mean, some kind-hearted person is offering us work, so of course we have to accept! We can't waste his goodwill~"
"…You guys are unbelievable," Noren Ace muttered, feeling for the first time just how unreliable her "besties" could be.
Then she turned to Suluo.
"Fine. The three of us will work at your shop for now. If anything goes wrong, we can leave anytime. No problem, right?"
"Of course there's no problem~" Suluo said cheerfully.
He was practically glowing.
With staff finally secured, everything from here on would be much easier.
