As her focus tightened, a prickling sensation—like a jolt of electricity—ran up her spine. Oguri Cap shivered.
"Rudi, look—what's the mud bunny shaking for?"
"No idea. Maybe Norun scared her."

While Rudi Lemo and Lady Mini were chatting nonsense, the race began.
The horse-girls in the training match launched forward the instant the start signal rang out.
No one stumbled. A clean start.
They ran with refined, efficient form—surprisingly sharp and disciplined.

Suluo watched with great interest.
This was his first time seeing horse-girls run on a track in person. To be honest, he'd never been that interested in horse-girls before—back then he was busy figuring out how to make his idol group famous. Coming to watch a race in person? Impossible.

At the finish line, the grey-coated horse-girl stood tall. Her long grey hair lifted into the air, caught by the wind.
Any trainer who saw that scene would have thought: What a heroic, dashing runner.
Only one investor, staring at the same moment, looked like he'd put on a mask of pure suffering.
Oguri Cap won.
Shiny Radiance was happy for her friend.
Kitahara was thrilled to see results.
