Jogging on the streets of Inside Oer, Lucky received nurmous odd looks from its inhabitants.
He was currently wearing clothes made purely from steel. The steel was so dense and layered that he looked like he was a walking golem made of steel.
On top of that, he was carrying a huge house-sized boulder chained to his back with huges steel chains.
It was a bizarre view.
'Ah, here goes the Master's weird routine again....'
'Every single day, our Lord gets crazier and crazier.'
'If I were on Master's shoes, woukd I last that long?'
'Mom said our Lord is training to protect us, I hape that's true because he looks like he's about to pass out.'
These were the thoughts of the curious onlookers.
The vampire goblins referred to him as "Master," whilst the dwarves and the non-vampire goblins referred to him as "Lord."
Feeling like he was passing out, Lucky quickly used Blood Control to control the blood from his pouch to enter his mouth.
The mutant blood he consumed immediately started his halted regeneration and energized him enough to resume his run.
'I can feel it.... I can feel the limits.... of this body.... coming close soon....' he sluggishly thought.
Even though it had been only around 46 days since he started this routine, it was equivalent to training for an entire year when compared to a normal human.
Of course, since he was a vampire, the intensity was multiples more than a normal human's.
Nevertheless, he had speedran the Book of Ascendancy's physical training.
He knew it was the easiest part of the book, so he didn't become arrogant with his own progress.
And yet, he felt satisfied.
After a few hours had passed, his stamina training was done.
'I never knew.... training my body was.... this enjoyable....' he thought.
Even though he felt like dying, at a certain point, he felt a high.
He drank some more blood to regain his energy and repair his damaged muscles.
"Is this why people enjoy going to the gym?" He muttered.
Going to the weight training area, he found a large basin of blood already prepared for him.
By the smell of it, it was the blood of the three sisters combined.
Not wasting any time, he silently thanked the sisters in his mind and began drinking it.
After recovering his body, his weight regiment was next.
As he was wondering how the dwarves had improved the weights this time, three people came carrying a huge ball of steel the size of a two-story house.
He visibly and audibly gulped.
'How much does that weigh? A few thousand metric tons?'
The three people carrying the steel ball were the three elven sisters. They were visibly struggling under the weight even with their combined strength.
Due to still being in the day, Elena and Erina were wearing fully-covered clothes in combination with a cloak that covered their entire body.
The elves had also been training like Lucky, so their combined strength should be way above superhuman levels at this point.
If an average car weighed 1 or 2 metric tons, then the steel ball, which weighed around 3,500 metric tons, was equivalent to at least more than 1,750 cars combined.
Due to being forged purely of steel, the ball the size of a small two-story house was incredibly dense and heavy.
If the elves were struggling that much, how would I compare.
Then, he felt an earthquake.
No, it wasn't an actual earthquake, the elves had just put down the ball.
'Looks like I might be stuck trying to lift this ball for the next few days. If I'm unlucky, I'll hit my limits before achieving it.'
The book explained that even after transcending the biological limits, there was another limit.
This limit was not named, but Lucky called it the size strength limit.
Even though his physique had been forged into something that wasn't biologically possible, it was still within the limits of physics.
Muscle and bones had to be stored somewhere. Even though the training method of the book compressed his muscle and improved his overall skeletal strength, there was a limit in physics.
After all, the size of his body was that of a human's.
To transcend that limit, he would either need to increase the size of his body, practically becoming more and more like a giant.
Or he would have to venture into an unknown territory, by modifying his body using materials unknown to his current scientific knowledge, possibly of supernatural origins.
The first option was both impossible and undesireable. Although he liked his muscles, he didn't want to become gigantic much less even know how.
The second option was more likely to happen in such a fantasy world. After all he was a vampire, maybe there would be a way where he could augment his body with muscles and bones of stronger beings.
'Hmm? Why is it so quiet?' He suddenly thought.
Looking behind the giant steel ball, he found that the elves had long gone out cold.
'Did they faint after setting down the ball?? How heavy is it?!' He thought whilst shocked.
Still wearing his steel clothes and strapped with the house-sized boulder on his back, he began trying to lift the giant steel ball.
Then, after 6 whole hours of weight training had passed, it was time for the sparring sessions.
"We're giving up, we need to train ourselves first," said Elena.
"Yep," agreed Erina.
"Sorry, Lucky. After fainting from lifting that steel ball, we realize we needed to train more with weights," added Ella.
"I see," spoke Lucky understandingly.
After all, the three elves had also just started doing Lucky's training regiments around 3 weeks ago.
Now, they wanted to skip the sparring sessions in order to train with more weights.
"Okay then, I'll be practicing my moves on the side of that mountain," said Lucky.
"Good luck!" The three sisters said together, continuing their weight training afterwards.
Then, after walking for a couple minutes, still wearing his extremely heavy equipment, he began practicing his moves on a ountain's stone wall.
Though the stone easily broke, Lucky still thought it wasn't satisfactory.
During his training, he avoided using his steel-like sharp nails.
In order for it to be actual training, he couldn't rely on cheats.
Thus, he wanted to punch clean holes into the side of a mountain.
Up until now, his punch roughly broke the mountainside into pieces, unlike his goal of cleanly punching holes through it.
Using his nails would certainly make it far easier, but in his mind it was like cheating.
