Chapter 23 - First touch with the strawhats (23)

He would walk to the snail and pick it up.

{Mister 3, here,} he said, his voice perfectly mimicking the sound of Mister 3's voice.

He was a ninja—doing shit like this was easy.

{Have you captured the princess?} A cold voice could be heard. Kairo's brow furrowed. He may not have been the biggest One Piece fan, but that sounded like Crocodile's dub voice. Yes, he watched the show in dub, because he wanted to understand what was being said. He wanted to watch and listen to it, maybe even have it in the background, not read goddamn subtitles. He didn't even know where all the Japan glaze came from.

Plenty of people there just wanted to off themselves or leave since the work culture was toxic and they wanted to end it all.

Shit was bad, and with the tsunami and earthquakes wanting to backshot them yearly, it wouldn't be fun.

Take one look at Japan's history during wars and shit, and the glaze would not be the same. Those people were not kawaii at all, doing stuff that would even make Hitler or Stalin blush.

{Not yet, but the Strawhats will not leave anytime soon. They only have one log pose and it takes a year to reset on this island.}

{Hm... once you are done eliminating the Strawhats, hold off on killing the princess. We still need her alive to have leverage over the king.}

Well, this fucking revealed it. They in fact weren't here to get the princess back.

{Understood, Sir 0.} Wow, his bullshit-making skill was truly being upgraded. Lying like this was simple.

{When the mission is over, the Unluckies will deliver a log pose to Alabasta.}

{Understood.}

The call then ended. Okay, so there was a way to get out of here. He relaxed his body a bit, his gaze going to Miss Valentine.

She was going to sing the answer to him.

POV change to the Strawhats.

"Zoro, are you sure that's where the energy blast came from?"

"I am certain," the moss-haired man replied.

"Why are we going where the blast came from? He was clear, dammit! He told us to leave, let's leave!" Usopp said. He was scared.

"I wanna see it. Whatever released that must be super strong. I wanna meet it!"

"Can we not?!" Usopp, clearly worried for his safety, said.

"Are you scared?" Luffy said, confused.

"Me? Never! I once defeated a sea beast all by myself, this does not scare me," he lied through his teeth.

"Then why are your legs shaking?" Zoro said, clearly not believing a word.

"I am just building up momentum... yeah."

"Sure..." Zoro clearly didn't believe this nonsense.

"This place is scary," Nami said, looking around.

"Ouch." She looked at her hand—something had bitten her.

"Nami-swan, don't worry, I will protect you," a certain swirly-brow simp said.

"If you feel tired, I can carry you on my back." His eyes, weirdly enough, turned into heart eyes.

Vivi was currently riding Karoo.

"Nami, if you feel tired, you can come on Karoo."

"No, I am fine," Nami said with a weak smile. [Yes, this here so Chopper can be recruited]

As they arrived at the place the Haki blast was felt from, they saw a house.

Heh. What the hell was a house doing up in this bitch?

Without hesitation, Luffy rushed toward the house, a giddy smile on his face.

"If there is a house, there may be food."

Yup, that was his main reason. He was a bit hungry. We shall ignore the big snack he ate a bit ago—he currently just wanted to get in the house.

Though before he could reach the house, a kunai landed right in front of him, forcing him to stop in order not to get stabbed.

Zoro grabbed his sword. Sanji placed himself in front of Nami and Vivi as if to protect them. Like come on, bruh, they are not going to let you hit my brother.

His highest chance at getting some probably would come from the island of the string man, the truly devious man who once more wanted to have all the power his giga chad dad decided not to have.

Truly one of a kind.

Usopp had his sniper shit on. His legs were shaking but, like Courage the Cowardly Dog, he was being brave—ready to shoot if need be. Usopp would not hesitate if the need came.

He was hoping to have an actual brave and good story to tell Kaya when he came back.

Yeah, he could do this.

God-D- Usopp shall not fold under anything.

"Over there," Vivi said, pointing at the tree. They all looked where she pointed and there, Kairo could be seen.

15 feet tall, which wasn't that odd for them. Whitebeard was like 20 feet tall and as far as anyone was aware, he was human.

The man held a sword in hand.

Zoro gripped his sword. A swordsman—he wouldn't mind clashing with him if need be.

A/N The Three K style may be used again
