"Lunarian? What are you talking about, Vivi?" Nami asked. She had never heard such a word before.
Vivi meanwhile opened her mouth and said:
"I've never seen one of them before since they've practically been hunted down to extinction by the World Government. But Lunarians are a race of people from the Red Line, capable of creating fire from their bodies."
She went on:
"They used to be known as a tribe of 'gods' while they dwelled on top of the Red Line."
"Some gods they were," Usopp said teasingly, before realizing a Lunarian was standing right there.
"Seems like you paid attention in history class. Nice," Kairo said dryly.
"Since you've figured that out, I can't let you guys leave this island. I cannot let the World Government know I exist." His hand gripped his sword.
Usopp immediately got scared. Luffy, however, smiled at that.
"We can't even if we wanted to. We're pirates," he said with a goofy grin.
The guy then jumped onto Kairo's back.
"Come on, join my crew!"
He even poked his face to get a reaction. Holy—did this guy not know about personal space?
"If I join you, you'll be hunted down by the World Government. Are you really ready to put your friends' lives in danger for this?"
"You're a ninja, join me! Plus, don't you want to explore the world? Come on!"
Did this guy know what "no" meant? Kairo gazed at the crew as if to check if this was normal. It was... apparently.
What kind of captain was this?
He looked at Vivi.
"How did you figure it out? I could have been a Zoan fruit user for all you know."
"You tied your wings. If you had eaten a Zoan fruit, you wouldn't need to tie them, you could have just reverted back into a human. But you tied yours..."
Neat. Wasn't she just smart?
Kairo tossed a log pose at them.
Nami caught it.
It read:
Alabasta
Wait, so they could leave this island? Kairo cracked his neck a bit.
"Mister 0 sent the Unluckies... I dealt with them. This is their log pose. You guys can leave now," he said, stretching his body a bit. Then he felt the weight of someone... oh yeah, Luffy was still there.
He made a hand seal and vanished.
Luffy fell to the floor.
"Ouch," he groaned, but a smile stayed on his face. And before their very eyes, Kairo vanished.
Now, he could go back to building his boats in peace.
Time skip — a day later
Kairo could be seen onboard the Strawhat crew. How, you may ask? Well, you see, the dumbass known as a captain refused to take his refusal, and chased him all throughout the forest, not giving him a goddamn chance to breathe. And now, here he was, in this current situation.
He didn't know how it happened, but here he was, a part of the crew, no questions asked.
Luffy meanwhile was happy and grinning. Heheheh.
He got his wish.
Kairo didn't know what to do, though he partly didn't mind joining them. Not like he would have his own crew or anything. Though, if he did, it would probably have Law, that dude from Skypiea, and maybe some other people he didn't know much about. The two best crews to join at this time were Whitebeard's or Luffy's. You would not see him in Kaido's crew, even if...
Huh. Thinking about it now, would Kaido even be stopped from helping Ace if Kairo were there? Would King want to be there too, since Kairo was a Lunarian and they were probably the only two remaining Lunarians alive or some shit like that?
Oh well. Food for thought.
Anyway, some stuff he learned: Vivi's kingdom was having issues and all that. Nami, however, looked like shit. She was breathing heavily.
"Did you perchance get stung by something on the island?" he asked, looking at the navigator.
Her breaths were a bit more ragged now.
She seemed to mutter something about being bitten by a bug.
"Shit... is there any island nearby?" he asked, looking at everyone else.
"There's a frozen island nearby. Why do you ask? It's not serious, is it?" Vivi said, looking at him.
"Well, to me, that bite is nothing, but that's because I'm different. She's human. That bug that bit her will put her through extreme pain and, if I'm not wrong, she'll die in 5 days."
The pause was sudden.
The fuck you mean Nami would die so quickly?
And onto how the fuck he knew that—apart from plot reasons, remember, he tested out every mushroom on the island along with bites. And onto why he knew it would kill her: you see, after he was bitten, roughly 5 days later, his fire stopped going there.
So yeah, Nami needed healing.
A/N Drum Island will be quick in here since he can and will 1 shot Wapol, He might teach them Haki while he is at it.
If Kaido and Prime Whitebeard coated their dih with conqueror haki could they split the sky if they clash?
And Merry Christmas.🎅❄️🎄
