Chapter 30: Snow Empress: I'll Beat Jiang Chen Until He Kneels and Calls Me Mommy!

Such a young age, and already falling in love—how troublesome.

Na'er shook her head, then nodded.

"He's my creditor."

"Creditor?" Yun Ming repeated in confusion. "Didn't I give you a Shrek Academy black card to pay your debt?"

That card alone could buy a ten-thousand-year soul spirit—what debts could still remain?

Na'er thought of her true identity. If it hadn't been for Jiang Chen, she might have been devoured by the Silver Dragon King long ago and disappeared.

He had awakened her martial soul, and though sometimes rough with her, he had harbored no malicious intent.

Yet she'd left him behind like this. The guilt still lingered painfully in her heart.

But she truly could not spend her entire life lying in his bed!

She gave a bitter smile. "I don't think... I could ever repay him."

Yun Ming laughed lightly. "It's fine. The Huo Family won't miss a thing. I'll simply owe them a favor on your behalf."

Huo? That Huo Family?

Ya Li's expression darkened, her tone rising in alarm. Just one trip to Eastsea City, and he had to stir up something this enormous!

Yun Ming patted his chest confidently. "Relax! No matter what happens, I'll shoulder the sky if it falls!"

Snow Empress City—a metropolis of pure ice located in the Extreme North. Even here, the Spirit Transmission Tower had established a branch.

One of the Eighteen Heavenly Pillars, its tower master was the Snow Empress herself.

Finding the name "Spirit Transmission Tower" distasteful, the Snow Empress had simply renamed it the Snow Empress Tower.

The frigid north could not be overly developed, so it had become a sacred land for Ice-type soul masters.

Cultivation here was twice as fast as anywhere else. Nearly all who awakened Ice-type martial souls eventually traveled here.

Everywhere, young soul beasts coexisted peacefully with humans. Mischievous cubs sometimes climbed through windows into homes, only to be captured by round energy spheres and placed in icy cages outside—where Tower staff would come to "re-educate" them.

At the top of the Snow Empress Tower, a young human girl stood. Her long white hair cascaded to her feet, her slim figure flawless. A simple white dress made her appear pure and untouchable.

From her pocket, a phone floated upward as the virtual projection of Evil Eye materialized, taking Jiang Chen's shape.

The Snow Empress's sky-blue eyes turned icy cold. How she wished never to see that wretched man again.

"What is it? You dying? Want to leave a last will?"

"Come on, big sis," Jiang Chen groaned. "Why curse me the moment you see me? Didn't we agree to ascend to godhood together?"

Originally, the Snow Empress could have followed Huo Yuhao, ascending to the God Realm as a soul spirit.

But as a devout believer in the Ice God, when Jiang Chen revealed to her the location of the Myriad-Year Ice Essence, she used it to overcome her seven-hundred-thousand-year tribulation.

Later, when he told her of the path to inheriting the Ice God's mantle, her heart wavered.

I, the Snow Empress, shall restore the glory of the Ice God!

The key to godhood lay within the Icefire Yin Yang Well—where the Fire Dragon King and Ice Dragon King had once perished.

Though the Nine Dragon Gods' elemental inheritors later became the Seven Elemental Gods, none were more than first-tier deities.

Still, the foundation for divine ascension was there.

Born of the purest ice-elemental origin energy, the Snow Empress was essentially an innate divine spirit in other realms.

The potential for godhood was hers by right.

"So, what do you want?" she asked coldly. She had no desire whatsoever to see him—and even less to help him.

Their feud ran deep.

Once believing she could never survive her tribulation, she had chosen to reincarnate as human. Yet she was hunted, lost her memories—and was abducted by this bastard, who tricked her into calling him Dad.

At the thought, her expression darkened further, her Imperial Sword flickering faintly in her grip.

Even though the figure before her was but a projection, she wanted nothing more than to skewer it.

Jiang Chen, oblivious to her murderous aura, continued, "You should be an Extreme Douluo by now, right? Perfect! It's time for us to ascend! Bring me the Eternal Kingdom—I'm going to bomb Shrek Academy!"

The Snow Empress crossed her arms, standing tall before him. Though she retained her human form, Jiang Chen could instantly sense she was not truly human.

He blinked. "Didn't I message you ages ago, telling you to convert your cultivation to a human path?"

He had timed her transformation carefully, calculating the year of Tang Wulin's birth, hoping she would already reach Extreme Douluo level by now—enough to rival Yun Ming.

Transforming into a human was no simple feat. It required entirely re-cultivating one's power—slowly converting soul beast energy into human soul power.

The Snow Empress said nothing, merely staring deeply at him.

Jiang Chen felt speechless. All that, just because he'd once made her call him Dad? She was still holding a grudge after all these millennia? Was her brain frozen solid?

Snow Empress frowned delicately. "Are you insulting me?"

Jiang Chen shook his head furiously. "No!"

"You just called me brainless, impulsive, and petty."

Jiang Chen: …

Since when could she read minds?!

Her expression darkened further. As expected, this despicable man was still a despicable man.

Lifting her swan-like neck proudly, she declared, "I don't need your concern!"

She would reclaim her lost pride—by re-cultivating as a human and defeating him fairly, uprightly, and gloriously.

She would beat him until he knelt on the ground, begging for mercy—and calling her Mommy!

"Since you haven't finished your transformation yet," Jiang Chen sighed, "just bring me the Eternal Kingdom."

A seven-hundred-thousand-year soul beast with four-word battle armor was practically equivalent to an Extreme Douluo. Though her participation as a soul beast in human affairs would draw attention, it was a minor detail.

Once I ascend, who cares?

But then, the Snow Empress moved.

Her flawless figure flashed with a burst of white light, shrinking rapidly—until a small, childlike girl stood before him.

Her formerly elegant white dress now hung loosely from her tiny frame, revealing delicate shoulders. She tugged at the fabric shyly, holding it up.

Her voice was now that of a child's.

"Now," the little Snow Empress said coolly, "I have become human."

Jiang Chen: !!!

"What the—?! Are you insane?! All this just because I made you call me Dad once?!"

"Change back! Change back right now!"

As long as she hadn't condensed a soul core at the Titled Douluo level, she could still revert to her beast form.

But now—of all times—why transform into a human?!

The little Snow Empress, though newly reborn, still showed her usual icy calm. "You seem upset."

"Of course I'm upset! This is the crucial time for our ascension! What are we going to do now?!"

"Snow Empress! For heaven's sake—can you stop fooling around for once?!"
