Egon and Charlotte arrived at the control room on the Level 7 of the Eastern section of the OctaCore. Dr. Erdmann Warner was already waiting for them.
Erdmann had already prepared the equipment for the broadcast and set it to only play in the eastern section, except for the closed section. Laurenz wagner, a former News director and producer, helped him set up the camera, write the script, and choose the perfect angle to work with the rooms lighting.
Egon rehearsed the announcement in front of Charlotte, Wagner, and erdmann. They give him notes to improve his presentation style and on-camera presence.
Egon was the one to say the words, but Charlotte and Erdmann had to in the picture to show their support, especially Erdmann. People trust him the most. The three of them took their positions and the announcement started:

The elected council, with a measured and strategic approach, declares the launch of a mission that represents the last calculated chance for the preservation of humanity as we currently know it.
In embarking on this last mission, the elected council aims to address a series of goals prioritized to secure the continuity of humanity in the current circumstances. Foremost among these objectives is the retrieval of a crucial shipment of supplies, a lifeline intended to sustain the community's needs for a minimum of four years. This will enable our survival within the shelter until external conditions improve.
another primary focus lies in the repair of the secondary water system and the water purification station located at the heart of the buildings inner area. This ensures a more reliable water supply and grants access to amenities like saunas and gym showers.
Another objective is to reconnect with the surviving group that had, for a short period, established contact with the shelter. We will rely on the judgment and assessment of the mission's leader, considering information obtained externally and the prevailing circumstances, to determine the best solution for both the group outside and the survivors inside, with the hope of accommodating them.
These goals, listed by priority, constitute a comprehensive strategy devised by the council to navigate the complexities of the mission and, in doing so, secure the future viability of humanity in its current context
This mission constitutes a collaborative endeavour involving three departments: the Water System Management and Maintenance Department, the rations and resources Management Department, and the Communication and Mechanical Engineering Department. Each department contributes its expertise and personnel, focusing on a specific goal that it will supervise and manage the execution of thoroughly.
The mission departs at 8 AM. on day 200, and any Residents wishing to join the mission team are welcome. Assemble at the vehicle's elevator of the seventh floor of the eastern section 30 minutes before the departure."
