Meanwhile, Jasper arrived at the club desperately searching for Ruby. He had the antidote and wanted to give it to Ruby as fast as possible. He vowed to make the person who did that pay. But after turning the whole club upside down, he couldn't find her. He instinctively became scared and hoped the worst had not yet happened. After sometime, realization dawned him that Ruby was not in the club. He immediately called some of his men to search for her everywhere.
" Even if you have to turn the city upside down, do it quickly "
Jasper said furiously. For the first time in years, he was scared, the thought of Ruby being taken advantage of in her most vulnerable state made his blood boil in anger and fear. He had to find her at all cost.

Ruby slowly tried to open her drowsy eyes. She was so worked out that the simplest task as opening her eyes felt like she was asked to carry the world's burden on her shoulders. She lazily closed her eyes back and drifted into sleep. But just when she was in the NREM stage, she felt a familiar yet unfamiliar hand around her waist. Her instincts kicked in fast and she suddenly jolted awake.
" Holy shit " She muttered under her breath.
She then realized the unfamiliar sheets and room, a handsome face beside her and oh God, she couldn't believe it, she was naked. Her face flushed with embarrassment as she recalled what happened earlier. She couldn't believe she had this shameless side. How she had thrown herself into the stranger's arm so desperately like a she-animal in heat. She felt humiliated but looking at the face of the man beside her, she couldn't help but sigh helplessly. At least, she thought
" I didn't give my first time to a disfigured person "
There was nothing she could do to the the man because she had initiated everything. She sighed and slowly took her clothes on the floor and put them back on. Now her eyes were burning with rage towards Christabel. After wearing her clothes, she was about to go when she felt a strong but warm hand grip her arm. She was momentarily stunned and slowly turned her hand to the man lying on the bed beside her.
Upon seeing his face and especially those eyes, her cheeks flushed red again in embarrassment as the event flooded in her mind again. As she was in a daze, she heard the man's cold voice
" And where do you think you are going "
His question brought her back to reality and she furrowed her brows lightly before asking in displeasure
" Excuse me? "
The man sat down with the sheets covering his lower part and said with a smirk
" Don't you have anything to say to me "
What the fuck!
Ruby screamed in her head. What has she gotten herself into now. She took in a deep breath and said
" Mr, what happened between us was a big mistake that should have never happened. I don't know how or why i dragged you that damn shit mess. But you know what let's both pretend it nnever happen. After all we are not going to meet again. Haa."
She tried laughing it off, but felt really awkward when the man didn't laugh and was just staring at hher like she had developed 3 head. She thought
" What did this man want. "
Then it struck her, oh. Compensation. Money could do right. She quickly added
" Oh now I get it, you want compensation right, just name your price and I will pay. We would be even then, you helped me I pay you. "
But after the words left her mouth, she felt like the temperature in the room just dropped to -48 degree celcuis. Had she say something wrong or was this man expecting her to apologize. There was no way she was going to do that because she wasn't at fault. Besides she dropped that habit of hers long time ago after she joined the organization. She rarely apologized. She was about to ask the man why, but the man beat her to it
" Miss do I look like an excort to you. If I needed money, do you think I would have bring you here to toy with you "
That was when, Ruby observed her environment, the room was definitely a VIP suite in a luxurious hotel. She could tell from her past experiences. She then gave the man a questionable gaze and asked
" What do you want then if not money "
The man stared at her with a sly expression and smirked
" Marry me "
Booom.
Ruby; ?.....
She stared at him with blank face for a full 15 seconds and then
" Pfffft... pfft.....hahaha.... "
She bursted into uncontrollable laughter. She felt like she had heard the funniest joke ever.
Marriage, oh crap, she thought. Was this guy a clown, if he is then she must give it to him, he was the best one she'd ever met. Tears even streamed down her face. Amidst her laughter, she heard the man's serious voice
" I'm not joking here I'm serious "
Then she abruptly stopped laughing and her expression darkened as she said
" Do you think you are some God or what. Saying and it shall be done. Do you even know who the damn hell I am. We just had a night stand and you are here talking about marriage. You got to be kidding me "
" Did you hit your head on something or was the pleasure much more intense for you to handle that you are now speaking rubbish "
Feeling offended by her words, the man warned her
" You dare not speak to me like that "
Ruby retorted with no trace of fear in her eyes but in a mocking tone
" Oh dear king, I'm sorry if I may have offended your pride but of you are desperate for a queen, rule me out of that list. I prefer a palace guard "
The man suddenly smiled and said amicably as if he wasn't offended by Ruby's sarcastic tone
" Oh my, where are my manners. I am Lucas. Lucas Calvetti. "
" Calvetti "
The name made Ruby froze for a moment. She then laughed again and said
" Lucas Calvetti. Hahaha, the youngest son of the Calvetti's, known mainly for been a playboy. Hahahaa, the playboy finally wants to settle down, and he thinks I am suitable for this position, hahahaaaa. Mr. Calvetti, you really need to be in the circus "
Lucas frowned and snapped
" Hey young lady you took my precious virginity away. In a blink of an eye, my treasure, the treasure I have guarded with my whole life was taking away from me by you. I'm just asking for a compensation and you are creating a fuss out of it. Do you know the number if people who had dreamt of climbing to my bed "
Ruby was infuriated and snapped back

She had almost said assassin.
She recalled something and continued

Lucas quickly asked

Ruby didn't look back and said

She turned to go but heard Lucas mutter under his breath
" Pig... "
That made her stop in her tracks. Pig. It reminded her of someone. She turned with bloodshot eyes that stunned Lucas for some few seconds and warned
" Dare you to call me thar again "
Before Lucas could speak, he hurriedly left the room.
No one was aloud to call her Pig except her Uncle Gary.
