Taejoon stepped outside, the cool night air doing little to calm the turmoil brewing inside him. He leaned against the wall, his eyes drifting shut as he took a deep breath. Suddenly, his vision began to blur, and his eyes snapped open, turning a shade darker. A shiver ran down his spine as he whispered to himself, "What is happening to me..."
Just as the darkness seemed to be closing in, Adriel's voice cut through the haze. "Taejoon, are you okay?"
The world around him snapped back into focus, and Taejoon's eyes returned to their normal shade. He blinked, taken aback, and looked at Adriel with a hint of confusion. "Yeah, I'm fine," he replied, his voice a bit rough.
After the visit taejoon went to his human family house
Taejoon walked through the front door of his family's home, greeted by the warm and familiar scent of his mother's cooking wafting from the kitchen. The living room was filled with the sound of laughter and chatter, which immediately died down as he entered. His mother, Mrs. Juliet, rushed to him, a bright smile on her face, and enveloped him in a tight hug.
"Taejoon, my boy! It's been too long!" she exclaimed, her eyes shining with happiness.
His relatives, aunts, uncles, and cousins, all gathered around, eager to catch up and ask him questions. Taejoon patiently answered their queries, sharing stories about his life, and laughing along with them.
After a while, he excused himself, citing fatigue, and made his way to his room. He closed the door behind him, letting out a sigh of relief. He flopped onto his bed, feeling the softness of his mattress and the familiarity of his space.
He reached for his phone and played a smooth, soothing melody, letting the music wash over him. The sounds of his family downstairs faded into the background as he reach out and take han watch
Taejoon's fingers brushed against the worn leather strap of the watch, and he pulled it out, a nostalgic smile spreading across his face. It was Han's watch, one he'd found a long time ago, and somehow, it still held a hint of Han's scent. He brought it to his nose, inhaling deeply, and closed his eyes, memories flooding back.
The corners of his lips curled up as he remembered the times they'd shared, the laughter, the fights, and the moments they'd made together. The watch, a simple object, held a world of emotions, and Taejoon's heart swelled with affection.
He lay there, lost in thought, the music playing softly in the background, as he relived the moments that made his heart skip a beat. The smile on his face deepened, and he felt a sense of contentment wash over him then he picked up his phone and call han
Han and Taejoon talked for an hour, catching up on each other's day, sharing stories and laughter over the phone. As the conversation drew to a close, Taejoon's tone grew more subdued, his words slower. "I gotta go, Han," he said finally, his voice tight with unease.
Han sensed it, his own smile fading. "Taejoon, what's wrong?"
But Taejoon just hung up, leaving Han staring at his phone in confusion.
The moment the phone went dead, Taejoon stepped outside, the night air doing little to calm the turmoil brewing inside him. His eyes flashed red, and he vanished into the darkness, reappearing in a seedy alleyway where a group of rough-looking men were dealing illicit goods. The air reeked of smoke and desperation.
Taejoon's eyes burned red as he took in the scene, his fangs extending. He lunged at the nearest man, biting into his neck with a ferocity that was both primal and terrifying. The men were too caught off guard to react, and Taejoon fed, his hunger and unease momentarily satiated.
Meanwhile, Han was driving home, his mind still on the conversation with Taejoon, when he saw a flash of movement out of the corner of his eye. He slowed down, peering into the darkness, and his eyes widened as he took in the scene unfolding before him. Taejoon, his eyes glowing red, was biting into the neck of one of the men.
Han's instincts kicked in, and he slammed on the brakes, leaping out of the car. "Hey! Let go of them!" he shouted, rushing towards Taejoon, his heart racing with a mix of fear and concern.
Han grabbed Taejoon's shoulder and pulled him away from the man, but Taejoon's eyes were wild, his fangs still extended, and he wasn't registering anything. Han's eyes widened as he took in the blood smeared across Taejoon's mouth, and he felt a jolt of fear.
"Taejoon, it's me, Han!" he shouted, trying to get through to him.
But Taejoon wasn't having it. He lunged at Han, his mouth open, trying to bite down on his neck. Han held him back, his hands on Taejoon's shoulders, trying to keep him at arm's length. "Taejoon, what is happening to you?" he asked, his voice laced with concern and fear.
Taejoon kept trying to get at him, his movements jerky and uncoordinated, like he was fighting against some inner demon. Han tried to reason with him, but Taejoon wasn't listening. Finally, Han had to act fast – he kicked Taejoon back, using more force than he meant to.
Taejoon stumbled back, his eyes still wild, his chest heaving. Han took a step forward, but Taejoon's gaze made him freeze – he didn't recognize the man he loved in that moment. 💔
