I tried drawing it in again, instinctively contracting my crotch. For a few seconds after letting the formless energy settle, I felt a subtle warmth there—only for it to suddenly turn cold.
A moment later, a sharp tingle in my lower waist region snapped me out of it, and I opened my eyes.
Wasn't I supposed to feel refreshed?
Or… did my little brother suddenly become "overpowered"?
The absurd thought made me dizzy, making me wonder if I would have turned into some harem king with an overpowered little brother.
I shook my head, mentally scolding myself for letting such nonsense run wild. Closing my eyes again, I focused—and this time, I could clearly feel that subtle sensation I had begun calling Mana spreading all over my body.
Then it moved.
The mana flowed directly toward my solar plexus, condensing there once more. The phantom sphere I had sensed earlier became much clearer—less imaginary, and more real.
The longer I practiced the meditation technique, the more vibrant and vivid the sphere became, as though it were slowly charging itself with mana.
At the same time, my body was adapting—absorbing the energy naturally.
I could feel every fiber of my being opening up, being strengthened and empowered.
I didn't know how long it would take for the mana sphere to fully stabilize, but I was completely engrossed in this new sensation.
When I finally opened my eyes—
For a brief moment, maroon rays flickered within my pupils.
All four of my eyes glowed faintly dark red.
I stared at the world in front of me, stunned.
Everything looked… different and clearer.
The world appeared like a masterpiece sculpted by nature itself, layered with countless shades of color. My four eyes felt hypnotized by everything around me.
It was as if the world itself was made of mana.
Everything carried a new experience, a new presence and new feeling. Such level of clarity felt unreal—like gazing at perfectly polished painting.
My hearing sharpened dramatically. Loud snores sounded like trumpets beside my ears. I could hear ants rustling across the ground, the buzzing of flies screeching irritably, even faint metallic clinks and muffled voices from far away.
Everything felt dazzling, and new to me.
Even my sense of smell changed too, I could tell almost instantly. I could distinguish different layers in the air itself, to the point where breathing felt harsh—almost toxic.
My vision, my muscles, every inch of flesh—my entire being felt different.
A sensation I had never experienced back on Earth surged through me.
I felt light, and powerful.
Like my body was overflowing with strength capable of doing unimaginable things, all I wanted to do was to test how strong I have become.
This is so damn awesome!
I was still floating on that high when two notifications abruptly popped into my mind. A black rectangular panel appeared at the top-left of my vision.
[Hidden Quest Completed]

Hidden quest? Daily task?
I stared at the notification, completely confused about what I had even completed.
[For more options: See Daily Tasks in the Quest Panel]
That message jogged my memory.
Right… I never checked everything on the system before.
I smiled faintly and summoned the system again.

[Distributed Quests]

»Main :??????, ??????, ??????
I studied the list carefully this time.
Quests are basically missions, right? Things you complete for rewards…
But then another question surfaced.
Why are there two sections? And what are all these question marks? Are they locked?
After a moment of thought, I pushed those questions aside and focused on Daily.
[Quests – Daily]

Cold sweat broke out across my body.
The punishments alone were terrifying.
I didn't know whether the system was serious or just trying to scare me—but either way, I didn't want to find out.
I quickly dismissed the thought of "Would the system actually kill me?" as overthinking.
*******
The first few days in this new world had already been bizarre and overwhelming, leaving a deep impression on me.
And it was far from over.
Even as a baby, I had responsibilities—daily ones.
Eating. Sleeping. Pooping.
Or, scientifically speaking… doodling.
Add to that a strict baby routine.
A baby's life wasn't as easy as anyone would think.
Especially when I also had hidden responsibilities—quests I had to complete.
At least I had plenty of time.
From what I could tell, even after becoming a Cursed one, my body wasn't much different from a normal baby's. My heartbeat wasn't deafening. My skin was glossy and soft—no dark scales in sight. My chest rose and fell normally as I breathed.
Everything contrasted sharply with what I had imagined becoming a cursed one would be like.
Everything… except my extra pair of eyes.
