Damn it, this system is really too much.
It was one thing that I could move through the portal freely, but the fact that people from the other side could also enter without restriction made my scalp tingle.
I stared at the rift, watching the distorted space ripple quietly, and my unease only grew.
"What kind of world is on the other side?" I muttered."And what kind of monsters live there?"
If that world was powerful, then even placing barriers outside would be useless.
Strong beings could detect spatial disturbances easily.
And if an attack came from that side…
My jaw tightened.
"Then the entire clan will be dragged into danger."
All of our core combat force was stationed here.A surprise attack would be catastrophic.
Most ninjas are high attack, low defense.
If something powerful broke through suddenly, many would die before even forming hand seals.
My heartbeat quickened.
"…What should I do?" Then it hit me.Why am I trying to do everything alone?
I clenched my fist slowly. "I'm not even that strong."
I hadn't reached Kage level yet and I was still far from Fugaku's former strength.
According to the database, Fugaku strength is comparable to three Legendary Sannin and was even considered a rival to Minato.
Compared to that… I was lacking.
"If I go alone," I said quietly, "it might danger my life."
There was no reason to shoulder everything by myself.
With that realization, I bit my thumb, formed hand signs, and slammed my palm onto the ground.
"Summoning Jutsu." White smoke exploded outward.
A small white cat appeared, lazily stretching as if it had just woken from a nap.
It yawned and glanced at me with half-lidded eyes.
"Meow… Fugaku," it said. "You don't usually call me unless it's troublesome matter. What is it now?"
I pointed toward the portal. "There's another world beyond that. I need information."
The cat followed my gaze, ears twitching.
"…A portal?" it muttered. "That looks annoying."
"It might be dangerous," I added. "You can refuse."
The cat fell silent for a moment, tail swaying.
"Double payment," it said finally and i was about to agree but the cat spoke up again.
" No,Four times," the cat correct itself..
"Deal."The cat's eyes lit up at my words and without any hesitation, it leapt straight into the portal.
I watched closely as its body vanished into the rift.
After that, I left the room and entered the office lobby.
Some clan members were working, some were chatting and Some were outright slacking.
For a moment, irritation surged in my chest.
"…Idiots," I muttered, then took a deep breath and raised my voice.
"Everyone listen carefully!" The room went silent.
"War is ongoing. From now on, we remain combat-ready at all times."
I called out several names and motioned for them to follow me. When we entered the underground base and they saw the portal, their reactions were immediate.
"What the—" a man around Fugaku's age asked.
"Is that space ninjusu?" an older-looking ninja asked me.
"Yes," I replied, to which everyone started talking among themselves.
"How is this possible?" the older ninja exclaimed in disbelief.
Everyone was talking to themselves. The young ninja asked what the blue thing is, and the experienced ninja were telling them it was some kind of time-space ninjutsu. Seeing the noise, I activated my Sharingan, and to their shock, instantly took control of them.
Their voices died instantly. Through illusion, I explained everything—slowly, clearly, without leaving room for doubt. I told them that this is a ninjutsu I created to connect different worlds, and that we would expand our clan's influence into that world.
When they came back to their senses, shock and excitement filled their faces.
"If this is real…" one of them whispered, "…our clan could truly rise."
"Calm down," I said firmly. "And remember—this information never leaves this room."
They nodded immediately.
Everyone then stared at the portal, tension thick in the air. After some time, white cat returned.
"It's a normal world," it said casually. "Nothing immediately dangerous."
A collective sigh of disappointment echoed through the room.
"Don't underestimate it," I said. "Even a normal world can offer enormous benefits."
Just then, I felt something tug at my clothes.
I looked down and the small cat was staring up at me with big, expectant eyes.
I picked it up and handed it to a nearby female ninja.
"Give it fish." I said to her.
"…Fish?" she repeated, confused.
"Yes." She nodded and carried the cat away after seeing her go i turned back to the group.
"Four of you stay here. The rest—come with me."
They obeyed without hesitation.
We stepped into the portal together. The world twisted violently, space folding in on itself.
When the distortion settled, we found ourselves in a dense forest.
"Scatter and Gather information." They vanished instantly at my orders and after sometime When we regrouped, a modern town spread out before us.
"…This place is more advanced than our village," one ninja said in disbelief.
"They don't even use horses for travel," another added.
I stared at the large school building ahead and felt excitement rise in my chest.
'I know this place,' I said quietly to myself.
"This is Kuoh Town." My lips curved into a faint smile.
'This is the DXD world' I looked toward the horizon.
"First things first," I thought. "I need to confirm where we are in the plot."
