Issei POV
"Rias Gremory, do you really think you can defeat me?" Raynare screamed as she raised both hands.
Dozens of spears of light formed behind her.
FWOOOSH—! They shot toward us like a storm.
"Useless," Rias said coldly and she casually waved her hand.
BOOOOM—!
A wave of Power of Destruction burst forth, erasing the spears of light as if they never existed. Raynare's eyes widened in shock.
The difference was overwhelming.
The gap between a high-class devil and a low-class fallen angel was absolute.
Rias didn't even know how to properly use her own abilities but still she can overpower raynare with just Raw Power.
"Akeno," Rias said calmly. "This one is also yours."
Akeno stepped forward, a sadistic smile spreading across her lips.
That smile alone sent shivers down Raynare's spine.
She tried to retreat.
Too late.
BOOOOOOM—! Thunder exploded through the chamber as Lightning struck Raynare directly.
"AAAAAAAH—!" Raynare slammed into the ground, her body smoking, barely alive.
Rias glanced at Asia… then at me.
"You did well."Relief flooded my chest at those words.
"Hahaha! Do you really think this ends here?" Raynare suddenly laughed, her voice broken and hysterical.
She staggered to her feet, blood dripping from her mouth.
"If you kill me, you'll all die too! This place is surrounded by Fallen Angels!"
Her eyes darted everywhere, searching for an escape.
"If I die, your deaths won't be easy!" she screamed, cursing us all.
SLAP!
The sound echoed violently and raynare was sent crashing to the floor again.
Rias stood over her, eyes filled with disgust.
"This is Gremory territory," Rias said calmly.
"Who in their right mind will comes here to cause trouble?"
Akeno stepped forward beside her, wearing a gentle smile that terrified even me.
"I've already killed your friends," she said softly.
"You'll be joining them now."
I felt fear… but at the same time— She's scary hot, I thought, as my nose started to bleed.
Raynare coughed—and then smiled.
"I wasn't talking about them," she said weakly.
At that moment—
CRASH—!
The roof exploded.
Chunks of stone fell from above.
Rias instantly raised her hand.
BOOM—! The falling debris disintegrated mid-air thanks to rias.
When the dust cleared everyone of us feel Cold allover.
Hundreds of Fallen Angels surrounded us.
Among them, two presences stood out—far stronger than the rest.
"What's the meaning of this?" Rias asked, one hand on her hip.
She sounded calm… but I could feel the tension beneath her voice.
"Simple," one of the high-ranking Fallen Angels said, laughing loudly.
"We're here to kill you."
"And after that," the other continued,
"we'll start a war."
Their laughter echoed through the ruins.
"Hahahahahaha—!"
The sound felt like it was crushing my chest.

Fugaku POV
Five members of the Uchiha clan stared at the scene projected before us.
"…They're really loud," one of the clansmen muttered, subconsciously covering his ears.
"It's fine," Hikaku said. "When our clan leader saves them, it'll be easy to explain."
"But isn't this 'saving the beauty' trick too cliché?" someone else asked.
"Even the Ninja Academy teaches said this trick is ineffective."
I glanced at him.
"Don't compare the logic of the ninja world with this one," I said calmly.
"This world is different."
"And the person we're helping," I continued,
"is obsessed with reading novels."
They exchanged looks, still confused and the only female among us spoke up.
"But Patriarch… was it really wise to manipulate Raynare through illusion and make her call for reinforcements?"
"What if one of them is an Ultimate-class Fallen Angel?"
I smiled faintly."Don't worry," I said.
"I have confidence in my luck."
"But patriarch, this trick of gaining an ally is not our style." Everyone looked at him, including me, and seeing that he was only around my age, I decided to correct his way of thinking.
"Listen, we are ninjas. If playing dirty brings benefits, then we must not hesitate," I said. He nodded, yet he still felt wronged.
When did the Uchiha have to go so low as to devise schemes to achieve their goals? We can just make them submit by force, he thought to himself.
