Chapter 9 - How to Kill a Transmigrator

How do you kill a Transmigrator?

Many believe the answer is simple, yet most fail when faced with reality.

The reason is cruel and absolute.

A Transmigrator is the protagonist of his own story.

The world bends around him, reshaping itself to keep him alive.

Fate, luck, and coincidence all exist for his sake.

They are like cockroaches—hard to kill, harder to erase.

Even natives of the world struggle to end them. No matter how strong the native is, the outcome is fixed, and that outcome is defeat.

Let's take Itachi as an example. In many fanfictions, even if he killed a Transmigrator during the clan annihilation, would it truly be the end? The answer is almost always no.

The Transmigrator might resurrect.

He might rewind time and try again.

Or worse, awaken an ability that devours souls or bodies to grow stronger.

Killing a Transmigrator through normal means is nearly impossible.

The world itself protects them.

Only someone like them can bypass that protection.

In many worlds, a Transmigrator is reborn as a villain and suppresses protagonists easily. But are those protagonists truly like him?

No, they are not.

All of them are tailor-made for him to shine, to take all the heroines of that world, to crush anyone he dislikes. The world itself makes him invincible.

That villain becomes the new protagonist of that world.

So the real question remains: How do you kill a protagonist?

The contract I signed answered that question clearly.

You don't start with the body.

You start with the ego.

That is where their true weakness lies.

A Transmigrator's greatest strength is not power.

It is not talent or cheats.

It is confidence.

The belief that the world exists for them.

That natives are NPCs.

That everything they get is guaranteed.

So to kill a Transmigrator, you destroy that belief.

You strip it away layer by layer.

You leave nothing behind.

You have to humiliate them publicly.

You have to break them in front of the people they despise.

And the greatest humiliation of all for them is this:

To be defeated by a native.

To bow before nobodies.

In today's world, people don't even bow to their parents.

So imagine the shame and mental collapse that will happen to them.

A "chosen one," lowering his head again and again

before villagers he once bullied for amusement.

That is not punishment.

That is execution.

An execution so cruel that even the world will not help him.

---

This method may sound familiar, as it is used by villain system holders, but it is fundamentally different.

Here, the target is also a Transmigrator who has cheats like the villain, and whose intelligence is not influenced by the other party. In this case, the one with the more powerful cheat will win.

I know this personally because it happened to me.

I was crushed by that eight-year-old bastard.

So two conditions must be fulfilled.

First, humiliate him until he doubts his own existence.

Second, kill him with someone like himself.

You also cannot kill a Transmigrator directly, even if your strength is far greater than his.

You must make him believe he is worthless.

Otherwise, he will return.

Just like I did.

And he will come for you.

In this case, I had fulfilled all the requirements.

I was currently humiliating him, and I could also kill him.

Because I was also a Transmigrator.

On the other side

Rin moved forward mechanically.

His steps were stiff and unnatural, and he was followed by four clansmen.

The corridor echoed softly.

Tap… tap… tap…

The four clan members following behind him looked at Rin with hatred. Because of him, the patriarch had to make a decision that brought shame to the entire clan. It was almost funny—minutes ago, they wanted to kill the Third Hokage with this man. Truly, the influence of a Transmigrator was too great on these small fry.

The cell came into view, and thirty villagers stood inside.

Their eyes widened the moment they saw him.

Rin swallowed hard.

His throat went dry.

Thirty people meant thirty bows.

"Damn you, bastard!" someone shouted.

"Get us out of here!" another yelled.

Voices overlapped in anger.

"The Hokage-sama won't let this slide!" one older woman shouted.

"We're just trying to survive the war!" a thin man followed.

"Do you even know the price of raw materials?!"

The Uchiha escorting Rin felt their faces burn.

Some looked away.

Some wished the ground would swallow them.

Rin said nothing.

He stepped closer to the cell, and the villagers instinctively backed away.

Fear flashed across their faces.

They braced for violence.

Their hearts pounded.

Then—

Rin dropped to his knees.

Bang.

The sound echoed sharply as his forehead struck the ground.

A bruise formed instantly.

"I am sorry for what I have done," Rin said.

But inside, his rage screamed.

How can I bow to them?

His pride shattered silently.

But the world no longer favored him.

He had no choice.

He bowed again.

Bang.

And again.

Bang.

After the tenth strike, blood dripped down. One of the ninja who knew medical ninjutsu rushed forward.

Green light flashed as the wounds closed.

Rin did not stop.

After being healed, he bowed again.

And again.

"I'm sorry," he repeated.

His voice grew hollow.

His will eroded.
