Il Ji had time for one more antwatch before he left the shop. When he was done, it was only 10:44 and the driver was already outside.
"Might as well." He said to himself before jumping up, grabbing some nutrient juices, opening the front door, locking it, and approaching the man.
"Ready to go?" The driver asked.
"Yes."
Opening the passenger door for Il Ji, the driver let him in the car.
While this was a novelty for Il Ji, he still didn't mind opening the door himself. It paid to look confident, and it paid to look untouchable, but it also paid to look responsible.
The driver took Il Ji to the mansion. When he was let out, Il Ji walked up the decorated steps, where a servant was already waiting.
"This way, Master Il Ji."
As he followed the servant, Il Ji let his mind wander. Out of the 157 skills, he already had 134 of the skills he needed in the form of ants, 18 of which had already been completed.
Out of the 23 skills on beasts set aside for him by Sebastian, he first needed to combine the skills for [Perfect Recall], of which there were three left.
He was also in the process of combining [Hardness], [Toughness], [Ruggedness], [Robustness], and [Steadfastness], and [Iron Skin] to make the skill, [Iron Body].
Out of all the skills, the only one he needed was [Ruggedness], which wasn't on the ants. Luckily, it WAS on the chimera chicken, which was on the list given to Sebastian for the purpose of attaining skills towards [Submind Creation] and [Brain Partition].
Aside from [Perfect Recall] and [Iron Body], he still needed to work towards [Submind Creation], [Brain Partition], [Memory Conditioning], [Mental Master], and [Telepathy].
[Telepathy] wasn't AS important for the test, but the skill helped fortify the mind against other influences that could potentially affect him during it.
So, all in all, he needed to sort through the murk of skills until he managed to get all the 24 he needed today. Hopefully the process would hasten once he attained the [Iron Body] skill.
Alfredo was waiting for him in the room that had been provided.
Once he noticed Il Ji come in, he stood up from his chair.
"Master Il Ji. As you can see, the animals have been provided. Please, have a seat. The papers are here for you to sign."
Il Ji sat down at the table, across from where the Master Butler had been sitting prior.
As they both sat down, Alfredo passed him the papers and began to sip his tea.
As Il Ji looked through them, he noticed that there was not many restrictions placed on him.
The basic summary was like this.
1. Il Ji agrees to captain a team on behalf of Lawful Technologies for the duration of the Chrono Cup. He also agrees to: help form a cultivation plan for all members on the team and form strategies for the team battles.
2. Sebastian Shaw and Lawful Technologies, Inc. agree to allow Il Ji a maximum allowance of 150,000 federal coins per month for the purpose of using his Talent to strengthen the team.
3. The team name must have the word "Law" in it, and must coincide with the Chrono League's policy on name creation.
4. The team must be sponsored by, and only sponsored by, Lawful Technologies Inc. In addition, the team banner and uniform must have the Lawful Technologies logo prominently displayed.
5. Sebastian Shaw and Lawful Technologies, Inc. agree to hold and maintain a free training center and housing for all team members.
6. Sebastian Shaw and Lawful Technologies, Inc. agree to provide a monthly stipend of 200,000 for each team member's training.
7. Il Ji and all members of the team must make themselves available during the entirety of the Chrono Cup.
8. Following the rules of the cup, the team must have at least five participants with at least two beasts at the gold level each.
9. All team members are to wear masks. No team members are allowed to reveal their public identities until the end of the season. No member will reveal the identity of another member.
10. Sebastian Shaw will be the team's second member.
11. Il Ji agrees to provide at least one [Legend] bloodline beast and one [Archaic] bloodline beast at the [Gold] level for the team during the entire duration of the Chrono Cup.
12. If any member of the team does not provide the agreed upon terms, they will be personally fined the amount of resources they have been given plus an additional 1,000,000 federal coins.
13. If any member of the team is unable to pay the agreed upon fines, they will pay using their personal assets at a price where each asset pays off the loan using the going market rate divided by 1.2 .
14. Il Ji will not be fined if a team member that has signed documents to join the team does not uphold their provisions. However, if the team members dip below five during the Chrono Cup, he must find a replacement. If he is unable to do so, Lawful Technologies, Inc. will be able to pursue a discretionary fine against Il Ji at the sum of 10,000,000.
