Just like that, the ground on which they all stood shook, like a coming earthquake making the crowd shiver in fear, they looked at each other worriedly as if they knew something like this could happen, looking from afar they all staggered backwards hitting into each other.
The ocean just leveled up twice its original height and they started running away, like they had seen demons coming out of it, it was strange with how the waters roared as if speaking to someone or maybe it was! The royal sorcerers came down with their long staffs emitting golden lights and they tried to suppress the ocean.
The ocean began to reduce its intensity only to stir up, creating a huge hole in its middle. The sorcerers looked at each other and they prepared for what ever that was going to happen.
They all stared as a figure emerged from the pit of the ocean in full glory, his white long hair dancing along with the breeze, with glowing eyes that had a blinding white from far.
' it's the sea monster!!!!
The sorcerers bent on one knee with their heads bowed, the being was way superior than they were and he stared down at all of them, anger evident on his face as he descended, the waters freezing from just the landing of his feet and making a pathway for him to walk as if his feet would be poisoned if it made contact with the land.
The sorcerers paved way for him to pass and he didn't even glance at them or their powerful staffs, he could just crush them with just a finger.
His movement were slow yet his attentive power moved through the waters freezing every human who was present at the cliff, no matter how far they run from the scene the water got to them freezing them in place only to be crushed down into pieces by the long tail of his dragon.
The rest of the people who were not involved stayed at their doors shaking and holding their families as if the monster was going to eat them alive and he frowned, he didn't eat humans and even if he did certainly not the people of Oceanus, he'd rather die of hunger, only if that could ever happen. The almighty would just not let him be, he had gone into slumber for years with no energy yet he didn't die.
His frown deepened just by the thought and he continued to walk leisurely. " You got to be kidding me, what are you doing Achelous?" He spoke in disbelief, the world had been so peaceful without the grim reaper and he was enjoying his boring day until he felt the supernatural energy rising from the earth. The man didn't even look at him and just continued walking in long strides towards the palace leaving Enki behind as if he was invincible.
Lord Enki sighed, but his eyes widened when he saw the sea beast following Achelous and even more when he realized what it was carrying. " we were enjoying our eternal peace, brother?" Enki said as he walked along side Achelous.
" I don't think so!"
Enki turned to look at his brother, " I must say, your humans don't like still waters!" He spoke again, calmly yet Enki could feel the threat right in his bones and he flinched.
" well my sleep was destroyed and you killed humans, AGAIN!" Enki spoke with warning and Achelous rolled his mesmerizing eyes at him for a moment taking Enki off guard and dumbfounded at his reaction.
" I was awakened by these stupid humans who didn't enjoy peace " Achelous said obviously and his icy eyes was filled with amusement as he stared at the palace grounds. These humans never failed to impress him, if he didn't know them well, he would have thought they liked him and even missed him, he chuckled at the thought, he didn't like them anyway, not with their past events….arghh!
Those memories were rushing back to him in double folds, he went to sleep because of this and these people, they won't even let him forget! Yet they called him the monster, who really was?
His amusement been quenched like a drop of water on a burning cole and he resumed walking, the gates of the palace opening on its own as he entered and the guards moving back as he continued to corner them.
" I couldn't get a satisfying justice I deserved and yet you offend me again…..I wonder why?" Achelous looked at the king and his army with confusion.
