The king staggered backwards at the powerful tone and audacity of the water god, he was scared at his eyes that were icy blue but at a point, flickered with something dangerous…..
"Have you forgotten your part of the deal, king of Oceanus?" This time it was Enki (earth lord) who spoke with wide eyes, what was the man aiming for, his death!
Achelous smiled making him look so unreal, he was finding amusement in all these and finally, just finally he could kill the man.
The whole place was covered in silence as the strong and cold breeze swept through the biggest hall that seemed to have reduced in size, Achelous stared down at the couple in front of him, his icy blue eyes couldn't leave the sleeping baby in the queen's arms.
" The ocean has already saved the child, brother! Do you understand what it means, to be given new life under your power core?" Enki asked as if this was seriously not supposed to happen in the first place.
The water god did not respond and he kept staring at the king and his wife, he seemed to be in pain yet the fact that he's been bound to the human was killing him.
THAT OLD MAN! He cursed, yet not a single word left his thin lips.
All his plans to clear out the humans for the demise of his beloved sister were just smashed and thrown into the pit of fire, he was willing to go to hell after killing everyone, but who knew that the almighty had other plans, better….maybe?
Since the child was born under his power and strangely holding on to his core, he agreed to not hurt anyone present there on that day in exchange, the child must be protected and delivered to him as his possession when she was of age.
He actually did that out of strange pity for the crying queen who looked like her all was going to be taken away, he should have taken the child on that day, he should have known better that these human were more of monsters and demons than to leave her with them and now look, just look!!
"I could gladly help you to remember that deal or better still…..pull out my life source from your daughter before I kill all of you, because my anger is still fresh and burning, I honestly don't mind I would love it. So… what is it going to be?" Achelous asked tauntingly as he grinned wickedly at them, the guards looked at each other and then to their king, most were young adults who might have not been there during the stormy days some years ago, but even a child now knew what happened on that unfaithful time and to think about it reoccurring again was…..
Waiting after a silent and fear filling moments with his smile broadening at every passing second and he sighed as if telling them ' their time was up!' And he raised his hands up, commanding the ocean to flow through him and even Enki couldn't stop him, he just didn't know how! He had persuaded his brother on that day to make a deal that would benefit both parties.

Everyone turned to look in the direction of the voice, the last person they could think of saving their pathetic lives was the princess, not when they were never nice to her, not when they think she was the reason for their misfortune, that she was nothing but a curse upon the land.
Achelous turned his head to his side, his eyes scanning the girl on top of his pet before arching his perfect brow, what did she think she was doing!
" umm…" she swallowed as she felt his cold gaze on her, causing her to clutche a hand full of the dragon fur, not painfully but for support. She cleared her throat since it was so difficult to speak.
" please can we make peace….again " she finally said before looking back at the man, who only smiled at her making her freeze in his spell of beauty.
" And how do you suggest we do that... Princess?" He stretched the last word as his eyes twinkled and his smile never left his surreal face.
"You can take your life source from me and leave my father alone…." Meili said weakly as her face paled from the thought of dying, she had nothing to lose and no one to mourn her, at least that's what she thought.
" You are not in any position to suggest that!" Achelous roared, shocking himself and scaring away the girl and people. Enki turned to look at him and was surprised to see Achelous shivering as his inner being threatened to take full control over his body, just to match up with his vessel.
That had never happened before, Achelous was one of the strongest creatures of the Almighty, who had strong will and self control over almost everything.
Achelous took in a deep breath and he staggered backwards, Enki holding him firmly in place until he regained control, " You should give the princess out as the deal requires before you all regret it!" Enki found himself speaking sternly and the king sighed not knowing what to do anymore.
He knew this day would come, that his lovely girl would be taken away from him, that was the reason why he wanted her to have a better life, to have a normal life, to have a beautiful family.....
