' Stop saying all this, nothing would ever happen my love, you worry too much' a male voice assured her. ' I … it's just that, she's just a child, I - never wanted this to happen' she broke into uncontrollable tears and her husband comforted her.
'That monster has gone into sleep and even if he wakes, Meili would be nowhere near his reach' the king said, very sure of it and he frowned, his wife's cough had worsened as he cleaned her bloody lips.
Meili stood frozen from the sight, her mother smiled weakly at her and her father stared at her with wide eyes, her small feet moved softly on the tiled floor and her mother opened her arms for.
She was warm and smelled nice, she rubbed her back softly, she coughed again yet she kept little Meili close. ' You are my lovely girl, remember that always' she said to her softly, her breath slowing down till there was none left.
' My lovely girl, it's time to wake up '
Meili woke up suddenly, her whole body shaking, it still felt like yesterday, when she stayed in her mother's embrace, her scent and slow heartbeat…..
Meili cried, her sobs filling the empty dungeon, she now found her tears after so many years her mother passed away, she didn't even realize a figure standing on the other side, staring down at her.
" open the cell!"
Meili opened her eyes, feeling the pain from last night's cry. Before she raised her head to see her visitor, no visitors was the right word and her eyes widened fear taking over quickly as she shifted in place.
" well, well, well….. what do we have here!" Lady Bayfort said mockingly as she grinned and Meili moved backwards far away from the cell door. " you didn't think I would let you go that easily, after what you did to my son!" The Dutches glared at her full of something deadly making the girl flinch.
" you will regret being born, but that would be because I want you to and I will enjoy every bit of it "

Meili tried to open her eyes or to even struggle against her captors but for some strange reason, she couldn't move not even her mouth. Her body was dragged away by two strong men who held her firmly and her feet moved roughly against the rocky ground till it bled yet they didn't stop, hearing voices behind her like a group of people were following, wait…. was it going to be her end!
Finally, just finally, they stopped and the normal breeze that flew upon the land had changed, became colder and wild, sending her messy hair away from her dirty face.
The men still held her in place as the people continued to talk no caring if she heard them or if their words hurt her or not, just how curse was she or could it be even that worse!
" wait….what are you doing, my- my father would never forgive you! " Meili tried to sound strong and unbothered as usual but it was fruitless, they stared at her as if she was spouting nonsense and that they knew what was best for her.
" isn't it obvious? You are a cursive child and you don't belong here!" Mrs. Humsworth said what was to be clear and Meili didn't get any of it. Her blurred vision started clearing like it was never there, she realized people with money had power, they had involved a sorcerer and now she stood at the edge of a cliff.
" Any last words? If not then throw her off—
" no! No, I - you can't do this, I never hurt anyone " Meili said her tears threatening to break loose from her swollen eyes.
The woman grinned menacingly, enjoying her shaken state? She had always wanted to break her and now it was a sight to behold and with just one look at the men, they nodded and pushed her down the cliff.
Her shocked scream blasted across the wide ocean and it roared back as she fell into the cold sea, the people staring with satisfaction
