The guards shivered, looking at their king as if he could save them but who was he really. " I thought a king is to be wise…. How unfortunate that he is insensible enough to let his puppet do his bidding, such a nerve " Achelous tsked as his icy blue eyes took in the appearance of the palace, any threat would result in their clearance from the earth itself, he would have loved.
Yet he still knew, he just knew that no peace would come out of it, his blue dragon stood beside him while he patted its head softly making the rest look in wonder.
" your wife pleaded for my vessel to stay with you and this is what happens " Achelous said as if it was obvious and shook his head dramatically.
Meili stirred up in her sleep, she smiled when she felt the softness beneath her skin, like she was resting on bed full of soft fur and it…..it smelled like sea water, wait a minute! She jolted from her sleep, her eyes widened when she realized the height and the pair of cold eyes that stared at her in curiosity and bewilderment.

Let her go you-" the king couldn't finish his words or even a threat of his because of the sharp frozen water just an inch away from his neck, " you don't get to show your concerns now, when your stupid people chose to kill her only to wake me from my sleep!!!" He actually roared the skies responding with thunders and lightings.
He was really enjoying his endless slumber which couldn't kill him in any way and then her scream, the racing of her heartbeat and the crashing of his stolen power hitting him hard that he was forced again to protect her and he glared at the man with Enki ready to stop his brother again, he had killed enough just at his wake and this was going to bring punishment to not only Achelous but to him as well, last time's own was…..
" Brother, don't do anything okay!" Enki spoke putting his arm on Achelous shoulder making him frown, Enki would have felt cold if he was a mere human but he was not, the great lord of the earth, filled with earth fire and energy with all its resources.
The frozen water melted like it had caught fire and the king staggered backwards his dress wet with his sweat and Meili had still not recovered from what had just happened, her father was nearly dead meat!
" I - I would never hurt my only daughter, this is all a misunderstanding " the king said finally getting to his feet and Achelous narrowed his icy eyes at him, he was right, but he couldn't accept it, he wanted to blame someone even though he had already killed all who were involved.

They all turned to look at Meili who was looking breathtakingly beautiful on the back of the blue dragon with all the confusion in her mesmerizing eyes and for a second Achelous melted before his cold demeanor returned freezing to atmosphere again.
" I guess I can blame you again for not even speaking of me even to her, what were you really thinking?" Achelous sighed and moved his fingers through his hair, moving the front hair away from his forehead, showing a blue tattoo in between his brows that glowed because he was displeased.
" so what do I do to this irresponsible father of yours?" He asked Meili and she looked like she had something in her throat and couldn't bring herself to speak. " what do you mean, put yourself in my shoes, I would never give my daughter to you!!" The king retorted with anger of his own, his parenting kicking in like wildfire and Achelous frowned.
He just didn't understand humans, there just wouldn't be a day he would accept what the almighty had done to him.
