Inside Setsuka's apartment, 1408th day since Setsuka's training regiment began
"...Then three days ago, when the floating monster appeared in City W, I was certain that I would meet my end that very day. Thankfully, you were there to subdue the mighty monster without needing to land a single hit on her. Lady Setsuka, I am forever grateful for the fact that you were able to rescue my life on that fateful day…" Ginka continued to share her words of gratitude for the bald woman in front of her.
'Screw this! I'm going to tell her to stop her story.' Setsuka groaned in her head as Ginka continued her monologue.
"Could you stop repeating yourself already!" Setsuka yelled at Ginka, having lost her patience the moment that she started repeating herself as thought she were a broken record.
This of course prompted the young cyborg to keep quiet.
'Man, I really regret letting her tell us her backstory.' Sanju thought to herself as she drowsily looked at the young cyborg in front of her.
"You really need to work on how you tell your backstory. The way you went about it was pretty lame." Setsuka told Ginka with a deadpan expression plastered on her face, as the slime monster sitting next to her nodded her head in agreement.
"Anyways, I think we should wrap things up and-"
"High speed targets approaching!" Ginka shouted out as her ears took on a different form while she faced the door leading to Setsuka's apartment.
"What?" Setsuka and Sanju simultaneously asked the young cyborg as they looked at her with confused expressions on their faces.
*Shatter!* *Crumble!*
Suddenly, the ceiling that she and Sanju were sitting next to was destroyed by the scythe-armed mutant that was waiting outside their apartment.
"Kehkehkeh! My name is…huh?" was all Kamakyuri could say before he was killed by a single punch from Setsuka.
"Pay for my ceiling!" Setsuka angrily shouted to the monster that she had just killed.
"You know that's pointless since you killed him on the spot right?" Sanju stated out to her roommate.
And as Kamakyuri was effortlessly defeated by a single hit from Setsuka, two figures were seen waiting outside the building that housed Setsuka's apartment.
"So, it seems our advanced agent Kamakyuri is down. I can't sense him with my telepathy anymore." a slug humanoid monster who was not much taller than the average person said as he looked at the building that their target was occupying.
"What? Wasn't he one of our stronger guys?" Frog Man asked his fellow mutant, shocked a the fact that Kamakyuri was defeated so easily.
*Thud!* *Pow!* *Pow!*
But before the two mutants could talk any further, their heads were buried into the ground that they were standing on.
"Don't bust people's ceilings!" Setsuka scolded the two mutants she had found.
"Leave them to me!" Ginka exclaimed a few seconds, only to see that Setsuka had already dealt with the mutants that she had detected.
"You really shouldn't have done that." was all Sanju said from the balcony of the apartment she lived in.
"Oh, never mind." Ginka said once she saw that the two intruders that she was planning on eliminating were defeated effortlessly.
"Can't you just come through the front door?" Setsuka continued to rant against the two mutants whose heads she had buried into the ground.
But the moment she said this, Setsuka also found herself buried deep neck deep into the ground that she was standing on.
"Setsuka!" Ginka shouted out as she ran towards the self-proclaimed heroine. Sanju continued to watch on with a fond smile on her face.
"It's ok, I'm fine. I kinda feel like I'm a young bamboo shoot." the bald heroine reassured Ginka as she began to relax from the position that she was in.
*Crumble!*
"High energy levels detected." a robotic voice could be heard accompanying the sound of a crumbling wall coming from behind the young cyborg.
'A cyborg?' Ginka thought to herself once she turned in the direction from which the sound originated from and was greeted with the presence of Armored Gorilla.
"Hey what's going on?" Setsuka asked her roommate as she tried to get a look at what was happening right behind her.
"Oh, I don't think you need to worry about anything. Ginka's going to take care of the large gorilla that suddenly showed up." Sanju calmly told her bald roommate, as Ginka began to engage the cyborg gorilla in combat.
*Stomp!* *Stomp!*
"Hahahaha! You appear in what they call a 'tight spot' right now." Beast King mocked his target as he made his presence known to her.
Setsuka just looked at the large lion mutant that had approached her with a bored expression on her face.
"Excellent work Ground Dragon." the lion mutant complimented to his fellow mutant, who popped up from under the ground a bit further from where Setsuka was buried.
"It complicates things if they put up a fight." a monster that had the appearance of a large mole stated from the hole that he had emerged from.
'It will be interesting to see how Setsuka will deal with these two.' Sanju thought to herself as she saw the two figures approaching her roommate.
"Lady Setsuka!" Ginka shouted out midway through her fight with Armored Gorilla as she made began to run towards the one she wished to learn more about.
"You would dare look away? How courageous!" Armored Gorilla shouted out as he swung a fist towards the young cyborg.
Ginka was able to block this attack by expanding the size of her hands and shielding herself from the blow that was about to land on her. She then moved the arm away from her and began to counterattack the animal cyborg she was fighting against.
"Heavy Gauntlet Series: Jackhammer Barrage!" Ginka shouted out as she sent a barrage of attacks towards Armored Gorilla.
Beast King and Ground Dragon simply watched the fight that was taking place between the two cyborgs for a moment or two before they returned their attention to the target of their mission
*Snore!* Snore!*
Only to find that she was sleeping from her spot on the ground.
"Hey jerk-off? What do…Huh? Are you actually sleeping right now?" Beast King yelled at Setsuka, having noticed that his target had slept while he momentarily took his eyes away from his target.
'How can she be so carefree?' Ground Dragon exclaimed in his head the moment he saw his target taking a nap under such circumstances.
'Who does he think he is?' Sanju raged in her head once she heard the Beast King insult her roommate.
Beast King's shout was able to wake up the bald woman who had been buried underground.
"*Yawn!* Being buried underground has kept me cool, but at the same time I feel all nice and warm. I'm feeling sleepy. Could you get lost for a second?" Setsuka told the Beast King as she looked at him with a tired expression on her face.
The Beast King was growling as he heard the words that Setsuka had told him before he calmed himself down before he decided to speak with her.
"Hahahaha! It would appear that I have to teach you your place." Beast King told his target as he crouched down so that he could be face to face with her.
"Listen up! I'm gonna slice your eyes out with these! Then we'll see if you resist! And just so you know, I don't let anyone off easily!" the Beast King declared as he looked at the bald woman in the eyes.
But as the Beast King was telling her how he planned to make her cooperate with him, Setsuka easily got out the hole that the Ground Dragon had dug her into. This of course shocked the two mutants in varying degrees.
"Alright. I think it's time I got serious here. If you wanna apologize to me, this will be the only chance for you to do so. You idiots destroyed my ceiling." Setsuka warned the two mutants with an annoyed expression on her face.
"Is that so? Hmph, fine then. Then behold the true power of the mighty Beast-"
"Damn it! I got some dirt inside my pants." Setsuka complained to herself while getting the dirt out of her costume.
"Are you even listening?" the lion mutant asked Setsuka while looking at her with confusion as to how calm she was being.
'What is going on here?' Ground Dragon panicky pondered to himself as he watched the scene that was unfolding right before his eyes.
'Man it's never gets old watching Setsuka's opponents getting confused whenever she does something unexpected.' Sanju fondly thought to herself as she smiled while watching the puzzled reactions that Beast King and Ground Dragon had on their faces.
"Are you done yet?" the Beast King asked her after waiting a few more seconds for her to finish what she had started.
"Hold on for a sec." Setsuka told the monste as she continued to getting the dirt out of her costume.
"There we go, thanks for waiting for me." Setsuka said moments after she had finished getting the dirt out of her hero costume.
"And once again, prepare yourself to witness the power of the Mighty Beast King!" the lion mutant shouted out.
"Lion Slash!" the Beast King shouted out as he swiped a claw in her direction and the attack was so powerful that it was able to slice up the house that Setsuka was standing in front of.
Unfortunately for the lion mutant, the bald woman was able to dodged his attack with little difficulty.
"No wait! Don't kill her yet!" Ground Dragon warned his colleague when he saw that the lion mutant was aiming to kill their target.
*Pow!*
But before the Beast King could continue to attack her, Setsuka quickly made her way towards his head and punched him right on his chest.
'I think I'll just end things quickly for now.' Setsuka thought to herself as she began to turn her head in the direction of the mole mutant.
'Well that ended more quickly than I expected.' Sanju thought to herself as she watched how quickly the fight ended.
"Are you okay Frog-Huh?" was all that Slugerous was able to say once he saw the cavity that was now present in Beast King's chest.
'Huh, huh, huh!" Ground Dragon whimpered once he saw that their target was now looking right at him, before digging away from the place that he had stood upon earlier in the day.
"Oh, I guess I'll have to go agter him." Setsuka mumbled as she also dug herself a path that would lead towards the fleeing mole mutant.
'No one told me that she would be this strong! It's best for us to retreat and regroup-"
"Found you." Setsuka creepily said as her face suddenly appeared right in front of the mole mutant.
"Noooo! Impossible!" Ground Dragon shouted out in fright when he saw his target's face.
And not long after that, he was punched all the way up into the air as his dead body splattered onto the building that housed Setsuka's and Sanju's room.
"Wow, you never cease to amaze me whenever I see you fight Setsuka!" Sanju cheered her roommate on as she was now carrying the two weaker mutants in her slimy arms.
"You know it! These minions are light work for the likes of me after all." Setsuka boasted as she stood with her hands next to her hips while puffing her chest.
"Ginka's also already done with her fight so let's check them out." Sanju said as she ignored the way that Setsuka's pose.
And when they got to Ginka, they saw that she had her weaponized right hand out towards Armored Gorilla as she gave him a serious look on her face.
"You will answer my question or be eliminated. Your choice" Ginka demanded of the gorilla cyborg, who was currently lying on the ground with his limbs having been completely removed.
"It is you who will be eliminated you blithering fool. I am the third most powerful fighter in the House of Evolution. With your current fighting skills, you will never beat the Beast King, who is the second most powerful fighter. You will be destroyed." Armored Gorilla taunted Ginka.
"Is that the guy you're talking about?" Setsuka asked the cybernetic animal as she pointed to the corpse of the Beast King.
"Yep, that's him alright." Sanju answered for Setsuka as she also looked at the dead body of the lion mutant that Setsuka had defeated while still carrying the bodies of Slugerous and Frog Man.
"That is correct." Ginka also answered to Setsuka without looking away from Armored Gorilla.
"Hey look, I'm really sorry. I'll tell you everything, just don't kill me!" Armored Gorilla pleaded for his life once he saw Beast King's dead body without using a robotic voice.
"Huh? What happened to your robot voice?" Setsuka asked the cybernetic gorilla, confused by the sudden change in his voice.
"Sorry about that. I just talk like that in order to sound cool." Armored Gorilla explained as he continued to panic.
A few minutes later,inside the base of operations of the House of Evolution
"What do you mean most of the elite squad was eliminated?"
"How did this happen?"
"We shouldn't jump to conclusions just yet."
"It may be a mistake."
"Verify the report immediately!"
"Right away!"
Inside one of the larger rooms that housed a few incubation pods and a large screen and some other scientific items, a group of people could be seen panicking due to the report that they had just received relating to the elite squad that had sent to bring in Setsuka.
They were all wearing a white shirt along with a pair of white trousers.
And as these people were frantically trying to get a read on the situation that they were currently in, the man with the black formal attire in glassed happened to be passing through the room.
"What's all the commotion?" the bespectacled man asked the men present in the large room.
And as they all turned around, they all had the same features as the bespectacled man with the formal attire. These were the clones of the bespectacled man, who was also the leader of the founder and leader of the House of Evolution, Doctor Genus.
"We have received news that the elite squad have been defeated by the target." one of the clones answered his progenitor.
"Impossible! Our elite force, formed for the extermination of these obsolete humans, wiped out?" the leader of the House of Evolution exclaimed once he heard the clone's words.
"According to Armored Gorilla's report, the two responsible for doing so are on their way here now." another one of Doctor Genus's clones clarified for him.
"If they manage to make it to the lab, all of our research, everything that we have worked for, could be destroyed. This is a serious manner." a clone stated with a grave expression on his face.
"The only option is to use our trump card," Doctor Genus started to speak with a unnerved look on his face, "Begin preparations for the release of Carnage Kabuto." before finally giving the order to prepare their trump car.
"What?" No way!"
"No not him!"
"That's crazy!"
"He'll finally be released?"
"But maybe he's right. That could be the only way to stop the intruders."
The clones once again began to panic among themselves on the possible measures that they could take from hereon out.
"Quiet down! He will be our last resort." Doctor Genus firmly told his clones.
"But sir-" yet another one of the clones started to speak before the doctor continued to talk about the measures that they would be taking in order to stop the intruders.
"We'll start by activating all of our traps. From the first floor to the eight. If we're lucky, they will take care of the intruders. I'm aware of what will happen to us should we fail, especially to me." Doctor Genus stated as he nervously sweated while looking at the large screen in front of him.
