Keifer POV
The room fell into complete silence.
Nobody moved.
Nobody breathed.
Edrix's eyes remained fixed on the laptop screen.
His face had gone pale.
I felt my heartbeat hammering against my chest.
I stepped forward.
"What is it?" I said.
Edrix swallowed hard.
Then he turned the laptop toward us.
"The signal isn't coming from the hospital," Edrix said.
My stomach dropped.
"What do you mean?" Rory said.
Edrix zoomed into the map.
A red dot blinked on the screen.
Yuri froze.
Completely froze.
His eyes widened.
"No," Yuri said.
I looked at him.
"What?" I said.
Yuri took a step backward.
His face was white.
"No... no... that's impossible."
"Yuri," I said sharply.
"What is it?"
Yuri pointed toward the screen.
His hand was shaking.
"The signal..." Yuri said.
His voice cracked.
"The signal is coming from the Hitamanchi Estate."
The room went silent.
Felix blinked.
"Your house?" Felix said.
Yuri slowly nodded.
Nobody knew what to say.
Not even me.
Because that made absolutely no sense.
If Jay was really there...
Then who took her?
And why?
I grabbed my car keys immediately.
"We're going," I said.
"Keifer, wait," Yuri said.
"No."
"Keiferâ"
"I said no."
I looked directly at him.
"I'm bringing Jay home."
The entire drive was silent.
Rain hammered against the windshield.
The sky was dark.
The roads were almost empty.
Nobody dared to speak.
Rory sat beside Edrix.
Felix looked unusually serious.
Even Yuri looked terrified.
Something wasn't right.
I could feel it.
And I hated it.
After thirty minutes, we finally reached the estate.
The massive gates stood in front of us.
Dark.
Silent.
Almost waiting.
I got out of the car first.
The guards immediately recognized Yuri and opened the gate.
The moment we entered, I started searching.
Every room.
Every hallway.
Every corner.
Nothing.
No Jay.
No sign of her.
Nothing.
My frustration kept growing.
Then suddenlyâ
"Keifer!"
Edrix shouted.
I immediately ran toward him.
Rory and Felix followed behind.
"What happened?" I said.
Edrix was standing near the back garden.
His expression was grim.
Without speaking, he pointed downward.
I looked.
Something was lying on the ground.
A small piece of blue cloth.
My blood ran cold.
I recognized it instantly.
The same dress Jay had been wearing.
I immediately picked it up.
My hands tightened around the cloth.
"This is hers," I said.
Nobody argued.
Because everybody knew it was hers.
The atmosphere became heavy.
Rory clenched his jaw.
Felix looked worried.
Even Yuri looked shocked.
Then Edrix crouched down.
"Guys," Edrix said.
I looked at him.
He pointed toward the ground.
There were marks.
As if something had been dragged.
My chest tightened.
"Follow them," I said.
We followed the trail deeper into the estate.
The farther we walked...
The stranger everything felt.
The garden slowly disappeared behind us.
Trees surrounded us.
The rain became heavier.
The lights from the mansion were no longer visible.
Then suddenlyâ
The trail stopped.
Completely.
Nothing.
No footprints.
No clues.
Nothing.
"What the hell?" Rory said.
Felix rubbed his arms.
"I don't like this."
"For once, I agree," Rory said.
I ignored them.
Something felt wrong.
Very wrong.
Then Edrix's laptop suddenly beeped again.
Everyone turned.
"What now?" I said.
Edrix looked at the screen.
Then his eyes widened.
The color drained from his face.
"Guys..."
"What?" Rory said.
Edrix slowly looked up.
"The signal moved."
My heart stopped.
"What?"
"It moved."
Yuri immediately stepped forward.
"Where?"
Edrix stared at the screen.
Nobody spoke.
Nobody moved.
Then he whispered,
"It's inside the estate."
Silence.
Complete silence.
Then Edrix zoomed in.
And all of us froze.
Because the signal was coming from a place none of us expected.
A place hidden beneath the estate itself.
A place that wasn't shown on any official map.
A place marked only with one word.
Restricted.
And for the first time that night...
I felt genuine fear.
Angelo POV
The moment I landed in Manila, I knew something was wrong.
The call from Keifer had been enough.
Jay was missing.
My sister was missing.
And I wasn't about to sit around and wait.
Beside me, Aries looked just as worried.
"Kuya, we'll find her," Aries said.
I nodded.
"We better."
The drive to the Hitamanchi Estate felt endless.
By the time we arrived, everyone was already searching.
Keifer looked exhausted.
Yuri looked like he hadn't stopped blaming himself for a second.
The moment I stepped out of the car, Keifer walked toward me.
"Angelo."
"Any news?" I asked.
He shook his head.
"No."
That single word made my jaw tighten.
"Then we're searching again."
Keifer POV
The entire estate was chaos.
Everyone was searching.
Rory.
Edrix.
Felix.
Yuri.
Aries.
Angelo.
Nobody stopped.
Nobody rested.
Then suddenlyâ
"Keifer!"
I immediately turned.
It was Angelo.
His expression had changed.
He looked serious.
Dangerously serious.
"Come here."
Without wasting a second, I followed him.
Angelo stopped in front of a bedroom door.
Yuri froze.
"That's..." Yuri started.
"My room," he finished quietly.
My heart dropped.
Angelo slowly pushed the door open.
The room was silent.
Too silent.
Then I saw her.
"Jay."
For a moment, everything else disappeared.
She was lying on the bed.
Unconscious.
But breathing.
Thank God.
I rushed toward her immediately.
"Jay."
I gently touched her hand.
Still warm.
Relief hit me so hard I nearly sat down.
"Jay, wake up."
No response.
Aries quickly checked her.
"She's okay," Aries said.
"Just unconscious."
Everyone finally released the breath they had been holding.
Then Angelo noticed something beside the bed.
A folded note.
The room instantly became silent again.
Angelo picked it up.
His expression darkened.
"What is it?" I asked.
He handed it to me.
The note contained only a few words.
Be careful, Yuri.
This is only a trailer.
Silence.
Complete silence.
I slowly looked toward Yuri.
His face had gone completely pale.
Even Angelo looked disturbed.
Because whoever did this...
Didn't just take Jay.
They wanted us to know they could.
And they wanted Yuri to be afraid.
Very afraid.
Yuri whispered,
"What have I done...?"
Nobody answered.
Because for the first time...
We all realized this wasn't over.
Not even close.
