The next morning arrived like a creeping thief. I had risen very early—after sleeping proved too difficult a task. The delicate nature of today's tasks was like illusory weights on my chest. Kaeren, who had been busy plotting with Austin all through the night, arrived early to explain the plan to me.
Unfortunately, due to the CCTV cameras present in almost every hallway leading to each suite, it would prove difficult to head directly to Luna Lynn's suite and bug the place. I would instantly be picked up, and with how suspicion still lingered on my head, that would be a bad move.
And so, Kaeren and Austin had explained that I had to place the tiny device they had handed me on Lynn herself. Somewhere inconspicuous, of course, where she wouldn't easily discover it.
However, with how that woman wore arrogance like second skin, it would be almost impossible for me to draw close enough to bug her. I would have to convince her one way or the other.
