"Are you alright?" Raven asked Missy during their journey home.
"Yes, I'm fine."
Raven gently rubbed Missy's stomach.
"I don't really want to ask too many questions, but I think you know what I'm going to ask after you disappeared and sneaked away from me at the event earlier."
Missy smiled faintly in amusement.
"That's an interesting choice of words."
"I think when I saw Charlotte, I had a feeling that something wasn't right with her. And yes, it turned out to be true when that pen..."
Missy trailed off and let out a quiet breath.
"Although I was surprised, I can say now that I'm relieved Tristan destroyed that cursed object so easily and at the right moment. I'm still surprised that he took Daniel's watch and destroyed it as well."
She then looked at Raven.
"Was what we did wrong?" she asked.
Raven raised an eyebrow.
"What is this? Now you're defending that noisy puppy?" he teased.
