Chapter 825 - Chapter 791 : No mercy part 5

**Chapter 791: The Battle of Pammant – Opening Salvo**

**Scene 1: Pammant System – Republic Fleet Approach**

**Dagon POV**

The fleet dropped out of hyperspace in tight formation, a wall of Republic steel emerging like judgment from the void. The *Annihilator* led the spearhead, its 18-kilometer length casting a shadow that seemed to swallow the stars. Flanking it were the *Mentor* (the heavily upgraded Mandator-class) and the three Alsakan Titan-class dreadnoughts — *Gilagimar*, *Lawbringer*, and *Leviathan*.

The Titan Mandator I-Class Star Dreadnoughts (Titan Protocol Refit) were monsters in their own right:

**Length:** 8,700 meters

**Maximum Acceleration:** 7 MGLT/s

**MGLT:** 3 DPF

**Maximum Speed (Atmospheric):** 65 MGLT

**Hyperdrive Rating:** Class 2 (Class 7 backup)

**Power Plant:** Solar ionization reactor + Auxiliary reactor

**Shielding:** 9,400 SBD

**Hull:** 10,200 RU

**Armament:**

- 500 heavy turbolaser batteries

- 250 turbolaser cannons

- 250 ion cannons

- 300 proton torpedo launchers

- 500 concussion missile launchers

- 150 tractor beam projectors

**Complement:** 1,800 starfighters, 180 transports

**Crew:** 75,000 officers, pilots, and enlisted crew

**Passengers:** 20,000 troops and support staff

**Consumables:** Three years

Behind them came the rest of the strike force: 80 Venators (many Silencer-equipped), 15 Liberators, 30 Allegiance-class battlecruisers, and 10 Resurgents. It was the single most powerful fleet the Republic had ever assembled for a single operation.

"Contact!" the sensor officer called. "Massive CIS fleet in defensive formation around the ring shipyards. They're launching everything they have."

The enemy was indeed formidable — thousands of ships protecting the vital Pammant yards. But today, numbers would not save them.

"All ships, this is Supreme Commander Marek," I broadcast fleet-wide. "Target priority: the central ring structure first. *Annihilator* and *Mentor* — main batteries on the shipyard spine. Titans — engage their Providence carriers. Venators — launch all fighters. Break them."

**Clone Pilot Dialog – Republic Starfighter Wings**

In the cockpit of his TIE Advanced, Clone Pilot CT-1879 "Blade" keyed his comm as the launch tubes opened.

"Blue Squadron, form up on me! Those vultures are thick as flies today!"

"Copy, Blue Leader," replied CT-3921 "Spark." "You see the size of that ring? One good hit and the whole thing comes apart."

From another channel, a Venator flight leader laughed. "Just like Geonosis, boys — except this time we're the ones dropping the hammer. Keep those droid tri-fighters off the capital ships!"

"Roger that," Blade answered, throttle forward. "For the Republic! For the Dragon!"

Hundreds of Republic starfighters — TIE Defenders, X-wings, and ARC-170s — poured into space like a swarm of angry hornets. The battle for Pammant had begun.

**Scene 2: Pammant Orbit – Close Assault**

**Dagon POV**

"Wrath Shield, Rocket Nova."

The armor surged and expanded around me on the *Annihilator*'s launch deck, growing to its full 19-meter form. Rocket thrusters ignited with dark energy as I launched from the hangar, streaking toward the enemy fleet like a vengeful comet.

Smaller CIS ships — Munificents and Recusants — tried to intercept. I accelerated, the armor's rocket mode giving me terrifying speed. Dark side lightning crackled along my frame as I tore through a squadron of vulture droids, railguns and CIWS systems shredding them into scrap.

A group of Recusant light destroyers turned to face me. I raised both arms and formed a Rasenshuriken — a massive spinning wheel of dark side energy, infused with Wrath and compressed Force power. The technique spun faster and faster, crackling with corrupted lightning.

"Die," I growled, hurling the Rasenshuriken forward.

The dark energy shuriken screamed across the void and slammed into the lead Recusant. It carved straight through the ship's hull like a buzzsaw, exploding out the other side and continuing into a second destroyer. Both vessels broke apart in spectacular fireballs, debris scattering across space.

I didn't slow down. Thrusters flaring, I flew straight through the wreckage, beam sabers extended, slicing apart anything that dared approach. Smaller frigates tried to swarm me. I answered with the Disruptor cannon on my chest, firing a continuous beam that melted three Munificents in a single sweep.

"Annihilator, Mentor — fire!" I ordered.

The two super-capitals unleashed their main batteries. The *Annihilator*'s colossal cannons and the *Mentor*'s upgraded arrays hammered the central ring of the Pammant shipyards. Massive sections of the ring shattered, explosions rippling along its length as critical infrastructure burned.

The three Titan-class dreadnoughts added their voices to the chorus, their hundreds of heavy turbolaser batteries tearing apart Providence carriers and Lucrehulks with merciless efficiency.

The CIS fleet was crumbling. But they still had numbers — and desperation.

**Scene 3: Pammant Shipyards – Command Deck**

Senator Tikkes watched in horror as the Republic fleet carved through his defenses. The *Malevolence 5* shook violently as Republic fire hammered its shields.

"Launch all remaining fighters! Order the Bulwarks to form a wall!" he screamed.

But it was too late. The *Annihilator* fired again. A single devastating salvo from its primary weapon struck the central spine of the ring shipyard. The entire structure began to break apart, sections drifting away as secondary explosions consumed drydocks and construction berths.

Tikkes knew the war was lost. Pammant — the heart of CIS heavy ship production — was dying before his eyes.

"Evacuate the yard," he whispered. "Tell Dooku… the Dragon has come for us all."

**Scene 4: Battle's Fury**

Ahsoka's voice crackled over the comms as her squadron tore through another wave of vultures. "Keep pushing! Don't let them regroup around the yard!"

Miaria, flying escort in her customized fighter, laughed fiercely. "They're breaking! The Titans just took out another Lucrehulk!"

I continued my rampage in Rocket Nova mode, Rasenshuriken after Rasenshuriken carving through enemy formations. The girls coordinated flawlessly around me, their ships and starfighters protecting my flanks while I delivered the killing blows.

Pammant was falling.

And with it, the Confederacy's last hope of matching the Republic's industrial might.

The Dragon had come to end the war.
