**Chapter 791: Target Pammant**
**Scene 1: Serenno – Republic Forward Command Base**
**Dagon POV**
The once-proud castle of House Serenno now served as a Republic forward command base. What had been Dooku's ancestral home was stripped of Separatist symbols and repurposed within hours. The ruling family had fled with the Count, taking much of their wealth. The planet's economy was in ruins, but its strategic location made it invaluable.
"It seems Dooku pillaged from his own people," I said to the hologram of General Valentra. "The ruling house of Serenno has long fled with the Count and their economy is gone. But we can at least use Serenno as our base to launch operations into the Outer Rim and other CIS-allied worlds."
"Yes, very good," Valentra replied. "The results from the Core have been very useful. However, we have no information on the Chancellor's whereabouts right now and the Senate wants to call for an emergency session."
I internally winced. So did the girls standing behind me. The Jedi Council knew the truth, and I had hoped the offensive would distract them for a while longer.
"Never mind that. Is the *Mentor* en route as requested?" I asked.
"Yes. The *Mentor* as well as the new Alsakan Titan-class dreadnoughts — *Gilagimar*, *Lawbringer*, and *Leviathan* — will arrive. Do you at least understand the severity of the target?" Valentra asked.
"Yes. Pammant Docks — the main CIS shipyard used for Subjugator-class heavy cruisers and any ship over 5,000 meters. Once we cripple it, we cripple their fleet power," I confirmed.
Valentra nodded. "High Command agrees. Good hunting, Supreme Commander."
The hologram faded. I turned to the girls. "We move immediately. This is the blow that breaks their back."
**Scene 2: Hyperspace – En Route to Pammant**
**Dagon POV**
The fleet was massive, a gathering of the Republic's finest striking power:
- The *Annihilator* — the 18-kilometer superweapon leading the formation.
- The *Mentor* (modified Mandator-class with solar ionization reactor).
- 3 Titan-class dreadnoughts (*Gilagimar*, *Lawbringer*, *Leviathan*).
- 80 Venators.
- 15 Liberator-class heavy Star Destroyers.
- 30 Allegiance-class battlecruisers.
- 10 Resurgent-class battlecruisers.
Enough firepower to glass a planet or annihilate a major fleet.
I stood on the bridge of the *Annihilator*, the girls positioned around me. The sheer scale of the ship still impressed even after all this time. Through the viewport, the blue tunnel of hyperspace streaked past.
"This will be the decisive blow," I said quietly. "Pammant produces most of their heavy capital ships. Destroy the yards, destroy their ability to replace losses."
Ahsoka nodded, arms crossed. "And if Dooku or Sidious tries to reinforce?"
"They'll be too late," I replied. "We hit them hard and fast. No mercy."
Miaria's tail flicked with anticipation. "Finally. Let's end this."
The fleet emerged from hyperspace on schedule, dropping out near the Pammant system like a hammer from the void.
**Scene 3: Pammant Shipyards – Orbit**
**Senator Tikkes POV**
The ring-shaped shipyard orbiting Pammant was one of the Confederacy's crown jewels, crewed primarily by Quarren. Senator Tikkes stood on the command deck of the flagship *Malevolence 5*, watching the sector's strongest remaining fleet form up.
He had heard the reports — Raxus fallen, Serenno taken. Tikkes wished he had convinced the CIS to eliminate Dagon Marek long ago. Dooku had tried at Jabiim, but it had backfired spectacularly, turning the man into a High Jedi General and leading to the creation of the *Annihilator*.
Fortunately, they still had strength here.
**Flagship:** *Malevolence 5*
**Notable Warships:**
- 2,000 Munificent-class star frigates
- 1,000 Recusant-class light destroyers
- 800 Providence-class carrier/destroyers
- 500 Lucrehulk-class battleships
- 40 Lucrehulk-class Droid Control Ships
- 400 Bulwark Mk1 Cruisers
- 1,000 Techno Union Frigates
- 300 CIS Droid Carriers
- 300 Separatist Supply Ships
**Notable Starfighter Squadrons:**
- Vulture Droids
- The Grievous Legion
- 88th Flight
- Hyena-class bombers
- Droid Tri-Fighters
- Trade Federation Droid Bombers
- Rogue-class starfighters
- HMP Droid Gunships
Tikkes gripped the railing. "All ships, battle stations! The Republic is coming. We hold this shipyard at all costs!"
The massive fleet began maneuvering into defensive formation around the ring yards. If Dagon Marek wanted Pammant, he would have to bleed for it.
**Scene 4: Pammant System – Republic Fleet Arrival**
**Dagon POV**
"Contact!" the sensor officer called. "Massive CIS fleet in defensive posture around the shipyards. They're launching everything."
I stood on the *Annihilator*'s bridge, Wrath Shield armor active but not yet in full combat mode. The tactical display showed the enormous enemy formation — thousands of ships.
"Impressive," I murmured. "But not enough."
I opened the fleet-wide channel. "All ships, this is Supreme Commander Marek. Target priority: shipyard ring first, then their heavy capital ships. Silencers and *Annihilator* main battery — focus fire on the central ring structure. Resurgents and Titans — engage their Providence carriers. Venators — launch all fighters. We break them here."
The order was given.
The *Annihilator*'s massive cannons began charging with a deep, ominous thrum. The *Mentor* and Titan-class dreadnoughts moved into firing positions. The Republic fleet advanced like a tidal wave of steel.
The final major shipyard battle of the Clone Wars had begun.
And the Dragon intended to end it.
