Mark's POV
Mark had thought that he would be spending Ryan's first day as a married man just lazing about on the beach with Amy keeping him company. He had thought that around noon when Ryan had said that they would be back he would meet up with his friend and congratulate him on his marriage once more.
But that was not the case. Instead of doing any of that, Mark was part of a search party. And he had no idea whether his friend was dead or alive. He had no idea whether Vivian was safe or not.
It was horrible to be out searching while in such a state of mind. But Mark knew that if he had stayed behind at Vivian's Rose, he would have lost it completely.
So instead of being back there, waiting with Ryan's grandfather and Amy. He was keeping himself busy by scanning the waters. Hoping to find something, anything that would help him keep the hope that his best friend was still alive.
